16:42 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Max, in Brazil we have a phrase to describe person with a sense of humor like yours; "pal, you´re not just a clown you´re the whole circus."
Dear Max..
I am awestruck by the way of your teaching style.
Long live Max❤
PS: You are lovely with your dimples with a mesmorizing smile..
Hope you release your clips more frequently! Miss you so much😅
You are doing a great job teacher.
Frank said something to me. Said is not always followed by to. Wh
nice
Hello Max: Frankly, I knew how to say correctly all the three introductory sentences. In spite of this, from my point of view, this deeper dive into English grammar brought us pretty useful information. It can also be seen from the comments to this video. It is beyond my ken how can anybody give a dislike.
I have just finished watching this video for the second time. For the first time in the morning and the second time now - at night. When I saw the sentence "Ethel likes to tell jokes", this sentence struck me "Ethel likes telling jokes" Is this one correct? If so, can we use them interchangeably?
Thanks very much, Emil. :)
Yes, you can use them interchangeably. For some reason certain grammar books just teach "like + verb-ing", but it's actually very common (and correct) to use "like + infinitive".
Good job👩🎓👩🎓👩🎓👩🎓👩🎓
Hi !! From India!! You’re really awesome!! Thank you for ur lessons!₹
My pleasure!
This chapter is Superb. Suggestions:We must use "SPEAK" for Meeting, Conference & Seminars
Not necessarily - "talk" is often fine.
Hey max! your way of teaching is outstanding....I am your new subscriber😊
You're very kind :).
And welcome!
@@EnglishwithMax ☺
Hi miss I like your videos .
Hi! I like your accent
You’re pretty by the way!!
Thank you, Max. It's very clear, your explanation. However, I don't have any illusion to converse and write without mistakes. Differents ones. Et c'est la vie, ma cherie.
Thanks again for watching! Ah... Nobody speaks perfectly all the time. Even we native speakers make mistakes. :D
Great explanations as usual... I was just wondering which verb you would use to speak about a doll that is able to pronounce a few words. Eg: I bought a doll for my daughter. It's a doll that speaks/ talks and cries... thanks for your very helpful videos.
Thank you!
Interesting question. You can use either (speak or "talk") in that context, but I'd most likely use "talk".
Hi I'm new from india ...
Hi I am from india l liked your videos it's really help to improve my English language knowledge.....mangesh
