    I've had the peak blue heritage "limited edition" 2.0 eco-boost turbo sport for one month/1100 miles. I paid $1000 under MSRP. This thing is straight up retro cool awesome! The 360 adaptive cruise control is every bit as good as my Tesla model 3 was.... It drives itself mostly.. No creaking/frame noise. The BnO stereo sounds great on surround sound. Albiet, not the loudest system... So far, I love everything about this Bronco sport,,,,except for the sunvisor doesn't extend forward enough for my tastes.... I'm averaging about 22.5 miles per gallon on mostly flat city roads. Up to 29 highway... I'm happy to own one of 1,966 of these!!! It handles the mall and liquor store parking lot speed bumps like a champ.... Just spent time in a 1.5 Escape. The engine has a diesel like idle and V6 ish harmonics. It needs some refinement. But it pulls rather well and I found the 8 speed pairs rather well with it. And the transmission will try to stay in 8th and use that low end torque at lower highway speeds so the diesel like vibrations return. But the transmission will down shift with not too much coaxing.

      @Rdy2go not anywhere near to blowing up, about 40.000 miles on it up to now, 0 oil consumption or coolant consumption, the engine feels like new, still no vibrations at all... Oh and our roads here in Colombia are mostly hills and they are quite bad, so the engine has more stress on it! American cars (almost all of them) are just unreliable. Heck the 2.0 Ecoboost here is regarded as one the worst engines, that thing will blow the turbo at about 60-80k miles. This 3 cyl will be no different. I would only buy an American V8, those are great. Small turbo engines? Give me some Japanese. Medium sized NA? Give me a german 6cyl.

    The only time I experience the vibration you speak of in my 2021 Big Bend Sport is on start-up. Once it's warmed up it runs pretty smooth. It's not going to win any races with its 1.5L engine but it moves on down the road just fine. Sport mode definitely helps but I barely use it. I live in New England, and I got to say it gets through the snow really well. It's comfortable to drive, pretty good on fuel, and pretty nice to look at. For $32,000.00 I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase.

    Jakub's observation is interesting. I own a 2020 Ford Escape (which I got in '21, with a huge discount) w/AWD and the 1.5L. This Bronco II Heritage has the same terrain options as my Escape, instead of the ones you get in the higher trim. The vibration that Jakub mentioned, I've never felt it in my Escape--and I'm usually the one in it. I bought it with 50 miles on the odometer, and now have 16k, but I've never felt this buzzy vibration. Though the Escape and Bronco Sport share the same platform, maybe there's something in the chassis design of the Escape that dampens the vibration a bit, not sure. As for speed, hp/torque really isn't bad, IMHO--though I usually drive it Sport and do Normal or Echo on a long trip. I do know that the Escape has a roomier rear interior than the Bronco Sport, though the Bronco Sport has more cargo space. And yes--the 2.0L Ecoboost is probably the better engine, but I've been fine with the 1.5L.

    • @lego4virgo
      @lego4virgo Год назад

      @@TheStraightPipes Ok, drove the Escape for a two block run--it's usually unladen (nothing in the cargo area)--and felt no vibration driving and no vibration at the three stop lights that I cross. Asked my daughter, who drives it twice a week for college class, if she observed anything similar, and she said no. So either a.) you got a 'bad batch' Bronco Sport that someone put together wrong b.) the chassis tuning/setup between the Escape and the Bronco Sport are vastly different, and given their target audiences, I can see why. But yes--the 2.0L turbo is the better engine, but I got an excellent deal with the 1.5L that I couldn't pass up. But as always, fellas--EXCELLENT CONTENT!

      @roboticvenom1935 Год назад

      Why did you buy an escape? To escape depression? The escape is not super competitive whatsoever with its more reliable, more refined Japanese counterparts who dominated that space. The escape 2.0 may be worth buying because it's so much faster then its rivals , but the 1.5l? You're just better off with the superior competition with significantly better interiors and resale value. The money you thought you saved with a discount was wasted due to the fact you ended up with a 2020 ford escape 1.5l.. I mean come on. It gets better, consumer reports rated the escape(1.5l model) the least reliable model in its class. good grief

    • @lego4virgo
      @lego4virgo Год назад +7

      @@roboticvenom1935 Let me de-Venom you, Robotic Venom: 1. Most CUVs have 1.6L base engines in them, and really don't sound that refined (looking at the Tucson, CR-V--haven't checked out a RAV4) 2. I've peeked into a RAV4 (2022), and sat in a 2022 CR-V (a friend's) and NOTHING about those interiors screams "refined". They may have decent infotainment screens, but for me, you couldn't convince me that either interior is better than mine (well, my interior is dirty now, so maybe now they are) 3. The CR-V has a bit more space in the cargo area (again, my friend's CR-V was the example), but not enough to warrant a glowing review, IMHO. 4. Consumer Reports has a problem in which they send out cards to get feedback, and that feedback can range from something small and insignificant (the wiper was squeaking) to something major (the brakes went out). So, I don't use CR as a measuring tool. ON THE OTHER HAND--both the CR-V and the RAV4, for 2020, only had four and five recalls each. The Escape--10. That said, I bought this car during the autopocalypse of 2021, where the CR-V and RAV4 were getting sold at 4-10K premiums over MSRP, and I got my Escape at $8k under. So, I still feel that I more than got out ahead.

    That engines actually the same that's in the new Fiesta ST here in the UK. Mine, though modified, has 270-280hp and it's great. Also has a lot of torque, 400nm at like 3000rpm. Yes, vibrations are bad, least it doesn't have an uprated engine mount 😂
    I also think it's probably not helped by being an auto, the ST is a manual.

    As a long time Hot Wheel collector, there are no secrets or special advice for finding Super Treasure Hunts. You just have to be at the store when the cases are just put out. Or get there before any other collector gets there. STHs are inserted very sparingly in the 72 count cases. So even if you are first to a just pegged case, you aren't guaranteed to find one.
    What Super did you find?
    Found this video because my daughter is interested in this exact Bronco Sport. She'll probably get it. It will fit her well.

    My cousin had a new Bronco Sport for about a month before he traded it in. It was loud and rattled just moving. It had good torque, but fell on its face right after getting into it. Sad to say, but American cars are going back to be slow and boring, much like how they were 15/20 years ago. These new turbo motors and 9/10 speeds allowed automakers to cram them in any and everything, change the tune a tad and double the price tag. Almost no new car is actually worth what you can get a used and comparable vehicle for.
