RUclips algorithm seems to have noticed I like seeing travel vlogs about my city and so in ladt days I have been watching a lot of them. So I decided that I have to give you a compliment about the research and effort you had out in this. Love that you actually cared to go in buildings and learn about a history a bit. So form many your's is my favorite (for now atleast).
Don’t know a single person that drinks Black Balsam Original on it’s own. People usually add it to coffee or cocktails. Black currant one is great with warm currant juice with a slice of orange. Awesome hot drink for a cold winter evenings.
Oh wow! Ang ganda diba? I’m sure malamig went you went last month? Thank you for watching, hope my video gave you some ideas on how it would look during the summer! (BTW I’m half Filipino too!) 🙏🏼😍
I noticed that tourist traps in Riga are much more shameless that in Vilnius. In Vilnius one beer is usually 3-4 €. if it's 4€ - it's and expensive place. But in Riga it can jump to 6 €. but if you know where to go (with the help of google) it will be ~ 3 € just few steps away form That tourist trap. So if you go to Vilnius u can sit anywhere you want in the old town and it will no bet expensive but in Riga you should read the menu first before ordering. also in Riga personnel outside inviting you in is an indicator of a overpriced tourist trap.
It's everywhere! ;) If you want to visit nice places you have to go with locals - it shouldn't be so hard to meet local people via social media before trip and then meet them in person!
you can find fried bread with garlic and peas with bacon under beer snacks in Lithuania. It's strange to see then under hot starters. also "garlic bread" is misleading. there is fried bread with garlic and garlic bread in Latvia and Lithuania. Your typical garlic bread became common only after collapse of soviet union. But somehow in English menus they have the same name. I guess both are bread and both have garlic.
I got an impression that rye garlic bread is very popular in Latvia as well, perhaps in Lithuania too, but it less usual in some other countries, so I'd agree with Tom, definitely worth trying
Nice video! I don't know if it is only my personal experience, but I always had a better experience with locals in traditionally Catholic countries like the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia... Maybe a coincidence, but who knows. Lithuania is also Catholic. Besides that I also want to visit Latvia and Estonia yet.
I was in Tenerife not long ago, seems like these Catholics haven't been able to grow out of the impact of Spanish inquisition, and it's still in their blood. Nowhere else people have been that rude, idiotic law-abiding and mean. Latvians are more reserved people, but people usually try to be nice, but they won't pretend to be nice like Americans if they don't feel like it.

Thank you very much! I love learning a little bit about each city’s history as it makes your experience all the more memorable. ✌🏼😁🙏🏼
Great video! It was really interesting to hear your thoughts about Riga and people there. Thank you!

Wow, sounds like a Latvian version of Glühwein? 😍
Tom Solfester
Yes it is. But we love Glühwein (karstvīns) too especially around Winter Solstice.

Jūrmala is a great town if you like beaches and architecture. Ornate wooden houses from 19th and early 20th centuries are the face of Jūrmala.
Thank you for the tip! Jurmala looks amazing! 🙏🏼😁
Spend a week last month on this city and it was awesome! Riga and Vilnius beautiful city!

Very interesting! I went to this tourist restaurant on purpose to see what local Latvians think of it, so thank you for your info! 😁✌🏼

Very true! I actually just came from Croatia and Slovenia, will be editing those videos soon! Beautiful countries!✌🏼😁
The problem with Latvia is to many Russians in Riga( which is where most visitors go ), Lithuania has less Russians.

The music destroys everything. Reducing it makes not hearing what you say. So unnessessary!
Your videos are so hard to watch. You music is CRAZY LOUD compared to when you're speaking. I have to mute each time your music comes on.
