How fortuitous it was for him to have such an iconic landmark like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in his home state. A location that drove his love of photography to be the inspiration for his career path. Chris' humble description of his journey to success truly teaches a trunk load of time honoured lessons. Yes, the early bird does catch the worm and hard work and dedication do pay off - BIG TIME!!! Thank you Juliana for sharing his story with us.

I just stumbled across this video and had to watch. I was a photo stringer at IMS for Associate Press from 1975 through 1992, then Reuters 1993-1995, then AP again 2001-2003. I got to know Ron McQueeney, a predecessor of Ron's. There is nothing like photographing at IMS during May, not just the track action but all the surrounding activity. It ws interesting to learn his story.
