A great tribute! I was hoping for more media coverage here in America, but sadly, they're more interested in covering Justin Beiber and Kim Kardashian. Lemmy was a hero to me, I've been listening to his music for more than three decades and I'll continue listening to him for the rest of my life. Like Mr. Mciver said, I wish more people could get past the booze and drugs as well, however impressive and "shocking," they were a small part of what truly defined him. He stood for determination, believing in oneself, and never giving up, no matter what people told you. He did things HIS way and he did them long enough that the people that told him he wasn't good enough, had no choice but to finally give him the respect he so richly deserved.
I'm just so happy that he was so driven, to make so much great music in his lifetime...truly amazing! RIP Lemmy.
    Motörhead for LIFE!!!

Lemmy is present and future, is our friend and comrade, is the ace of spaces. Always, in every corner of this world, a motormouth with a lot of jokes and funny tales, with a 747 like a bass.
Love and respect for him, and off course...cheers!!!

Great tribute to the man. Not only did we lose a highly influential godfather of the metal scene, but a really smart and intellectual person. A friend of mine made it to the Motorhead motorboat this past fall and spoke to him, saying she could tell he was ill, but he pushed on as sick as he was. The world lost a true pioneer. RIP Lemmy

Godfather of Rock n Roll, he refuted completely any mention of Godfathering metal, a very humble man. Unique.

also notice how in 2014 lemmy was already skinny and smaller, the cancer was starting to take hold and its a shame wish he would have been diagnosed earlier.
