Fun Fact: the Legion Go fits perfectly into the OXP 2 case. Of course not many people have both, but the OXP 2 case is much thinner than the original Legion Go case.

@@vizknight1862 I think the Legion Go is superior to the OXP2 Pro, if we're talking X1, my opinion might shift. As for ONEXGPU, yes it would work better because of the Oculink connector but the OXP2 Pro just isn't as good/comfortable a device if being honest.
It's an acceptable middle ground between having it on at all time like GPD's devices and it does facilitate the 3-in-1 concept that OXP is so keen on. I finished Contra on the Switch, bought it there as it's easier for couch play, it's got that retro feel and some of its charm too.
Its not the fact that I'm an AMD fan, but more of a steam os fan. I feel that the steamdeck is still too last generation and I prefer in the X1 over the pro but only if it was AMD powered for the simplicity of running linux.
That is an extremely valid argument. I haven’t watched reviews of the X1 so I don’t know the general opinion but as I’m preparing to shoot and release mine, I am really hoping ONB is working on a AMD based X1. I use to own a onexplayer mini and i never had any issues out of it and loved the USB A port but support and warranty always bothered me so I sold it and held off until the legion go came out .
Buying Chinese based handhelds do up the ante when it comes to risk, no other way to put it. Which is why I totally understand why it's not everyone's cup of tea.

I've been testing indie titles more for the time being but if what I hear, which is that the gap closes considerably when cranked all the way, the X1 has way more appeal than meets the eye. I'm excited to start working on that side-by-side showcase between X1 and 2 Pro.
This thing only good if it has a physical games like desktop gaming computer or nintendo switch are doing so people who find it hard to buy digital games can also buy cheap used physical games if not brandnew! That’s how it should work and atleast it can also play all mobile games for the rest of its life, in my opinion that’s a win win!
That would be great but making hardware and making games is two very different things and companies like OneXPlayer are not big enough to make games like Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. With that said, you could technically install games on MicroSD and carry them around with you, it's not quite "physical" like I am sure you speak of but maybe that could be a working compromise? Theres a plenty of aaa titles on pc too if im not mistaken then after 3-5yrs nowadays sony and xbox exclusive games are also coming out to pc! Cartridge size physical games isn’t hard to bring its as small as coins. The reason i don’t like digital games is because you can’t sell them, you can’t display as a collection and to people like me who doesn’t have creadit card to pay digitally because I don’t have savings like broke ass it won’t work for me lol
You know what? I tend to agree with that. The Minisforum V3 is just not the handheld that the X1 is, same goes for the 2 Pro. Not without it's few benefits over the X1 but overall, I'd take a X1 with a 8840U over pretty much any other handheld I tested in the last couple of months.
It is different than the previous iteration for sure. To be sure, you have the older model that the controllers are not detachable right? If so, I’m not sure the 2/2 Pro keyboard would work with the previous frame. I’ll try to find out and get back to you.
It was in correlation to a previous video to see what kind of performance I was getting in comparison, with that said, the X1 review is currently underway and God willing, it'll be my next video. If you favor performance above all else and have every intention of docking this thing often, this could be interesting and eventually expand with an external GPU. If you don't care for performance and just want the best experience possible on the handheld, I'd say go Legion Go.

OneXPlayer actually did the "detachable controllers" first with the OneXPlayer 2 even before we knew the Legion Go would ever exist. With that said, they are very different despite looking "similar" conceptually.
Ok so this is gonna sound weird, I don't like wearing gloves, I really don't. But when filming devices as such, manipulating them is a mandatory thing. The thing I also dislike, fingers smudges all over the screen. So I try to default to the glove to move things around more and not leave fingerprints all over. That's basically it.
I've done my very best to stay away from opinions to make my own but knowing Intel was going to underperform, I leaned hard on the ergonomic and holding it turned me way off. I have yet to power it, I'll still give it a fighting chance but it's not looking good, to say the least.
I was asking myself that very question yesterday while playing on it. Some parts yes, some parts no. I'll expand on the review but I'd say that my personal choice between the two would be Legion Go. It's just that going Go does come with compromises. It's always about what you're willing to give up to get instead. Sorry for the long answer, I hope this helps-ish 😅

OnexPlayer definitely makes larger handhelds. Does the joycons feel more secure than the X1? You mentioned on that one you didn’t feel they were the most secure
On the X1, the right one has no wiggle whereas the left one does. However, that'll be easily addressed so I'm not too concerned with that for the time being. On the 2 Pro, I'd say the wiggling and overall sturdiness is better, I'd say about on par with the Legion Go which also does a better job than the Switch, including OLED, in comparison.

Hello Mathew. Why did you get this? These Chinese handhelds companies abandone thier products and dont update them. Please stick to name brands from now on, you'll have less problems in the long run especially if you need any product support or warranty.
These main stream handhelds only go up to 12 ram or so, these Chinese brands like experimenting which is good, they'll of course not compete with mainstream but they're always something
That's the beauty of having a diversed market, options. Now, you are more than welcome to think Chinese brands do this or do that, my experience is different, not perfect, but different. But thankfully, now the market gives you the opportunity to walk to a BestBuy and get you one of those. As a community, everyone wins!

All my GPD handhelds from the Win2 up to WinMax2 are still running great.
Same here, my Win 4 acts up from time to time but nothing too alarming. We'll see how time holds up for the 2 Pro.

They have sales very regularly but safe to expect 1000USD and up, it depends on the configuration you go for.
