- Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says the Albanese government will have “unprecedented levels of power” if its misinformation bill passes.
Public submissions for the Albanese government’s misinformation bill will end on Monday.
The laws include a number of measures, including targeting false and misleading online content, as well as allowing the media watchdog to penalise social media.
“There are unprecedented levels of power that have been bestowed upon the minister,” Ms Hume told Sky News Australia.
“That’s something we feel very uncomfortable with.
“The Coalition will always stand up for free speech; this bill fails to do so.”
Absolutely despicable, also, politicians and the “captured” msm can lie with impunity.
A slippery slope.
There is no misinformation or disinformation there is only truth or lies.
Yet everyone is still suffering!

**Britain flicks the off switch on coal-fired power after 140 years** 👏👏👏👏
The source of energy that made the Industrial Revolution possible has been abandoned by the UK earlier than expected, making the country a G7 leader.👍👍👍👍👍👍
**It also caused the climate to change and caused global warming**
A graph of global mean surface temperatures has just been released. It covers 485 million years, and in that time frame current temperatures are pretty much the lowest ever.
@@donotcomply665 Huh..
Climate related deaths are the lowest on recorded history all thanks to coal and the industrial revolution. 😂
