- For the Akte Blani(X) 2 project, skydiver Paul Steiner from the Red Bull Sky Dive Team and the Blanix Team complete another spectacular stunt. 2.100 meters above the ground, Steiner went out of the cockpit and walked on the wing, then transferred from one plane to the other. No belts, no tricks.

Wow! Just seeing the guy come climbout of the glider was crazy, then to see him climb onto another glider was even crazier, then to see him stand on one glider and touch another glider flying above him was just AMAZING!
I don't understand how these red bull videos don't have more views. All these athletes are incredible.
Wow! Those are some skilled air men!
Hi Brian
This is under appreciated, badass by any times standards
absolut genial, ich bin ein ganz großer fan und bewunderer der RedBull flugzeugsammlung, mein tiefster Respekt
Utterly amazing... Not the transfer stunt, as the Blanik was often used to give Eastern Bloc pilots their first parachute practice, many decades past. Unusually, the pilot would sit in front with his parachutin' passenger in the back - with the rear canopy removed completely. As an old but long-since lapsed gliding instructor, I can personally vouch for the bulletproof construction of the old "tin bomber" - yet it was still an excellent machine to fly or teach in. Flaps & retractable gear - luxury...!
No, the surprising thing about this piece is that a couple of these tin two-seaters are still bashing circuits in this 21st century of carbon-fibre & plastic...
Anyone for the Pilatus B-4...? CBSIFTCB-CB Rules...!
I'm certain that no glider will be ever produced in such numbers as Blanik. And 60 years after 1st flight is still in production with some modifications. That will be little difficult to beat.
Pilatus B-4 was one of my favourite gliders. Great manouverability, excellent for mountain flying, pretty decent aerobatic plane. I actually didn't need VSI, just had to listen to metal sheets clanking. Well, it isn't the best crosscountry machine and can be a little tricky in crosswind due to quite big vertical fin and fuselage surface area.
thats gotta be the best feeling in the world sitting on that wing
Асы рулят!!! Супер!
Oh shit, that's a very nice move, walking on the wing, that rocks men!!!!!!
at 1:55 I really thought he was going to be sliced by that helicopter -_-"
same
i was hoping actually
s a m e
@@fistandantalasmajere1671 wtf?
Going through the helicopter blades at the end was the icing on the cake. Wow.
Wtf are you talking about he didn't
Absolutely impossible to do such a thing my man
@@aggad16 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH
@@harleydavidson5271 it wasnt a joke though
Wtf how could anyone take it seriousely LMFAOO
Outstanding ! GJ, Redbull stunts !
id be scared enough flying in the planeX) props to you Mr.Steiner
des Hommes courageux du beau travail
Dicey stuff...pretty spectacular....the inverted rudder grab actually would have made me the most nervous (As ANY of the three participants)...I would have definitely calculated the available elevator forces for inverted, that speed first. Not likely he could even BEGIN to upset the pitch of that inverted glider, but if he ever did it wouldn't be good, at least a quick back of the envelope approx, cause I'm chicken. Quite beautiful. Can you imagine this guy at parties....some sports guy bragging, and he says "I once stepped from one glider to another, mid air", then grabbed an inverted gliders tail from and upright one. Owned.
LOVED IT DONT STOP WITH THE AMAZING.the only thing that would have made that better is the Red Bull saying "Welcome to My World, the World of Red Bull."
Very Impressive.... as a skydiver and aviation enthusiast, I gotta say that took precision and balance. Great job!
Love it! those crazy Red Bull guys!!
Excellent
how do you build up courage to do this stuff
Jungs, ihr seid genial
Yeah...
Incredible Video ! Absoluste crazy and stunning Perfomance!
WOW!!!! I GET GOOSEBUMPS...

The Blanix team is really incredible
To nemá chybu,no prostě paráda,klaním se.
when he was just sitting on that wing, imagine how awesome that mustve felt with the wind hitting him. had to be just so amazing.
Transfer at 01:03 is great.....really enjoying the view at 01:25.......
Red Bull never disappoints
... jsem se lekl že přeskočí i na vrtulník :-) Hezké video i střih.
Spectaculaire!bravo!!
without the skydiver there would be no stunt, the sky diver's skill is big balls
FREAKIN SICK!!!
Austria B) awesome
wow, wow, wow, you guys are awesome that was some incredible flying, thanks for taking us along!!!
The Skydiver didnt do anything any skydiver can do that... its the pilots that are beast!!!!
AWESOME!!
Excellent camera work - great scenery out on the wing.
Red Bull are a billion dollar company success story strictly because of their brilliant business strategy of pairing themselves with cool daredevil stunts. There is no better way to market a product, especially to youth, than to market it as COOL. Once a company has branded themselves as COOL, they've made it. See also Apple for reference.
That was above amazing!
Blanix voando em espelho? cada vez eu me surpreendo mais com esse planador!
Unbelievably cool.
Now that's how you catch a connecting flight!
they did all that, then they missed the high 5! tut tut
Redbull fufills extreme sports bucket lists
1:56 when his drogue chute comes out, it makes it look like he got sliced by the helicopter's blades.
absolut genial!
Fantastisch ❤️❤️
wow!amazing
Really amazing guys!
those gliders are incredible.
this guy has nuts
+ColCol Plays Deez nutZ????
Cool! How fast are those gliders traveling?
90 km/h.
IAS
Approx
may be a bit faster.
Amazing!
That was freaking insane!!!! He has got some mega balls on him!!!!
this video quality is quite good for 2010
you guyys rock!! that's a great flying! how many redbull did u drink for that one? :)
I don't know if I would prefer to be the pilot of the skydiver..
I'm a skydiver, and I've flown Balanik gliders. Very responsive aluminum glider- this would've been 5x more difficult in a composite glider.
cool! really amazing perfomance!
The gliders would have crashed with that heavy balls of steel
you gotta love red bull for pouring money into shlt like this.
"So what did you get up to today?"
"Me? I climbed out of one glider and onto another glider midflight. Then I jumped off just for the hell of it. Pretty average.."
that was some sic shit love red bull and pretty much anything they sponsor
Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think i took a breath during that whole video
Well...
1. The gliders could collide.
2. He could fall, hit the rudder and end up knocked out or break something.
3. Parachute may not open.
4. He could have damaged the wing meaning the glider will fall.
So yeah, even though he has a parachute it doesn't mean him nor the gliders are invincible.
of you have ever been skydiving its alot of fun
Really cool stunt - (for ad...)
Super!
Fantastic. (Y)
Those are some good pilots
Yup...
the real heroes are the two pilots...
@surfbum5412 Are you kidding? The pilot skill is incredible obviously but so is the balance, athleticism and courage of the skydiver!
WTF!? WTF!? WTF!? AWESOME!!!!
great pilots thats so cool
redbull is really pushing it to the limits this stunt could have gone so wrong
AWSOME!
Bellissimo !
Pěkné...fakt pěkné.
awesome!!!!!!!
I am 15 years old and I'm learning to fly this glider
imagine doing this without a parachute
The gliders need winglets, that will make them more stable.
Crazy shit!! Man you are def the best!
@surfbum5412 Well I have done a bit of skydiving myself. Only two static line jumps so far but there you go. This skydiver in the stunt seems pretty impressive to me. I certainly could'nt do it. Could you?
bin selber ein alter segelflieger und motorflieger habe in bayern und als junge einiges gewagt heute mit 83 kann ich diese flieger nur bewundern. wgreve nun in california
im glad nobody got hurt and that skydiver has some serious balls...(no homo)
Is Balnik approved for inverted flight?
legends!
very cool!
@Kikidud if u think about it he had a parachute so if something went wrong, he would just deploy it. Ur right if the gliders crashed then the pilots were skrewd
@mckseal: Yep, my heart skipped a beat or three!!
I want to say this SO fucking awesome
Intense!!!!!!!!
Great fun. To watch. ;¬)
Does anyone know what soundtracks were used in this video?
Would be nice if anyone knew ;)
Otherwise.. one hell of an awesome video, stunt and editing.
This made me feel good! hah
mateschitz is auch der einzige mensch, der mit seinen millionen und milliarden mal vernünftiges anstellt!
Tollkühne Sache
sick but whats the point of the guy grabbing the plane half way through sick flying though!
Wow, If I tried that I would have a few stains in my underware.
