Our 5 month old pup injured his knee in a freak fall off a very low chair. We are just starting into week 2 of the ordered month of rest. He’s on Metacam, Gabapentin and Trazadone. I’m going insane. I’ve actually found it easier to crate our 2 yr old dog as she is the instigator of most of the rough play. I feel your pain. I realize things could be worse but it’s the straw that is breaking this camels back….also dealing with my mom’s dementia.
Of course you are right to keep a sense of perspective, but that is still a very stressful time. When our pets hurt, we hurt with them. Sending all healing thoughts to Purl, all calm thoughts to you and big hugs to Maisie (don't want her to mess out). Big Hugs to you xx
Our first dog was a German shepherd. It’s hard to keep an animal down and not moving. I was given gabapentin one time for my tremors and ended up with hallucinations too. I was seeing big black spiders on my ceiling when I woke up. I never realized it could be the meds until my neurologist said it was. I hope Pearl heals quickly so you can go back to your normal routine. I am planning to knit all day and knit this election stress away 😊
If it all goes pear-shaped, Amanda has 40 acres you can pitch up on. Sending healing thoughts and pats for Purl. It WILL (all) be fine 😉🥰 Winding some NYSW yarn for my Coorie In today cuz it's snowing - yes, you read that right. 🤪 It's the same color as a red maple 🍁
Barb, a lot of tiny things equal stress ❤
You're right!🤗😍❤️🥰
🙏🙏🙏 for Purl❣️🥰
Thank you, Patty!🥰❤️😍

Oh, I hope for a quick heal, too! It's going to be a long month!😍❤️🥰
Praying for Purl.
Thank you!🥰❤️😍
So sorry to hear Purl injured her shoulder. She doesn't do her "business " because her routine has been interrupted. 🤗🙃😁
Yes! She finally did her business. I've relaxed a little. 😍❤️🥰
Poor Purl. I hate it when a dogbis in pain. Maybe a big longer leash to still control her but give hercspace to pee.
That might help. Thanks!😍❤️🥰
