I made a pot roast a couple nights ago, and some liquid boiled over the edge of the inner pot and burned my heating element. This is coming at an amazing time for me. Really need it. I'm sure if my heating element has burned on stuff, that there is dried up stuff under the heating element. How do I clean that?

Fabric softeners have chemicals in them, so instead I'd use vinegar and water on a rag to clean the inside of the body.

@@Baba_dees you can also put 2 cups of vinegar in the Instant Pot and turn it on for 2 minutes and it will remove the gasket's food smell. And at the same time that will remove any bluing inside the stainless steel pot.
