Lessons From the Butterfly

Last summer I fostered butterflies from their egg stage. My hope was to understand the allegorical meaning of their metamorphosis by witnessing the entire process.
What I got in the end was a lesson far greater than I expected.
Life is a mirror of our most inner states of being. Sometimes the reflection is our darkness and other times it's our cultivated virtues that inspire the world to go on.
