These two. I swear, they have stolen my heart, wringed it, crushed it, stamped on it, and tore it into a billion pieces.
Besides their incredibly breathtaking Parabatai bond, the angst and the love is just too much for me.
I'm a sucker for angsty and unrequited love couples, so yay another ship that is doomed to fail and never become canon. (I do however like Malec as well)
Of course Alec's side of the story is quite obvious, but I think people underestimate how much Jace is hurting by this. Besides the fact that he seems to be less sure about the remaining of their parabatai bond, because he is always afraid people are going to leave him, he is also hurting in a way that people seem to underestimate. He knows Alec has feelings for him, but even though he would do anything to please Alec, he does not return those feelings. However, everytime he has to hurt Alec it hurts him even more. JUST LOOK AT HIS FACE EVERYTIME HE HURTS ALEC. He is in a difficult position too and I feel like people tend to forget that.
BY THE WAY, who else is with me that if we had seen Jace's 'beloved memory of the one he loves the most', Alec would 100% appear? I mean, Jace doesn't really have anyone besides Alec and Izzie, and he júst got to know Clary so no way that she was already the one that he loved the most. And even though he loves Izzie, his bond with Alec is 10 times stronger, so it would seriously not make sense if anyone else than Alec had appeared. (By the way why didn't Alec just play it cool when Jace showed up lol, it would've made sense)
Besides that, omygod Matthew is fucking gorgeous wow. He is literally so hot that I drool of my chair everytime he appears on the screen.
About the show, I really like it, mostly because of Alec and Jalec and Izzie (yeh I don't really care about Clary) and I'm hoping that season 2 will be just nice and including just as many Jalec moments as season 1.
Please tell me anyone else ships Jalec too? LET ME KNOW PLS

Okay... THIS over and over. 'He knows Alec has feelings for him, but even though he would do anything to please Alec, he does not return those feelings'. I have believed from minute one that if Jace could choose to be gay for Alec he would have years ago. Like he loves him so much he would literally do anything, but a stele isn't a magic wand, not really. I am a sucker for angst ships, and I literally refused to allow myself to vid this ship cause I knew once I started I wouldn't stop, and here I am now 2 videos in less than 5 days.

I haven't watched this show yet, but i've seen like million videos of that other pairing(with him and Magnus,if that's his name)...and i always felt like there's something missing for me to ship them(even if i don't watch the show lol i'm weird) and i felt these 2 have it. I shipped them from first 15 seconds of this video ahah i don't know if they are friends, brothers or whatever but i love the chemistry :D ANd of course beautiful video, thanks for introducing me to these 2 :D

Yeah, I taught that also, there is something missing in maleck, for me it kind of feels that magnus love Alec more than Alec loves him, and if jace wasn't inlove with clary, Alec would have told him his feelings, but because jace love clary, Alec decided to give magnus a chance, but somehow, I still feel that Alec is still in love with jace

Gods this is so good. i totally ship them! although i ship Malec first but at the same time season1 Jalec was MY LIFE. Their scenes together, and specially whenever Jace would be all protective over Alec. those where my favorite moments back in S1♥ (you do not get to talk about Alec, mundane!" thats one of my favorite lines ever)
i think you are right, Jace loved one memory would have been Alec. I mean it doesn't make sense for anyone else. wish it had been his turn first, and we would have get to see Alec reaction to it!! would that have given him enough confidence to tell Jace how he felt? or would have understood that it was a brotherly love? seemed like it never crossed his mind that Jace would have interpret what happened as brotherly love, he didn't thought anything else more than "now he knows i have feeling for him" so maybe he might have thought Jace had those kind of feelings for him as well?

What are you talking about, this is another doomed ship? That parabatai bond is bigger than any relationship they'll ever have. Their hearts beat as one and yeah, it's not the type of ship where you'll see them make out but it's a ship that will never sink. I love their relationship.
I absolutely hate it when people dismiss relationships that aren't romantic, as if they don't count. Some of the best ships aren't romantic, they transcend it and that's how I feel about Jalec.
+Dare - wait for it - Devil It is a doomed romántic ship, which it is. Of course we're lucky enough that their parabatai bond will never break. Please don't take text out of proportion to turn it into something negative :)
