  • Hungerford is a Berkshire town near the Wiltshire border 60 miles west of London. About 6,000 people live here. The drive was filmed from 7.15 am on Thursday August 15th 2024.
The drive starts at the main roundabout at the north of the town and follows Charnham Street westwards to the edge of the town. It then restarts at Charnham Street's mini-roundabout and heads south along the High Street which becomes Salisbury Road until just before the southern mini-roundabout. The drive then restarts at the mini-roundabout in the centre of the High Street where it turns off into Park Street and then into Station Road where the railway station is beside the level crossing. When that clears we turn left into Everland Way passing through Tesco's car park and returning to the High Street. The drive then restarts in Priory Road in the south east corner of the town passing John O'Gaunt High School and Hungerford Leisure Centre. Continuing along Priory Road would lead us back to Salisbury Road/High Street. Finally we return to a section of Park Street on Hungerford Common where cows graze.
