    Basically the same team ABs faced in World Cup. ABs are a different team now. The RWC AB team kept Boks try-less with 14 players. SA have home advantage and a team of players who have played with each other for some time. Advantage ABs have is that our combinations are unknown…even NZL doesn’t know who our “A” team is. Will be two great games. Anything can happen….but Boks are the clear favourites and it’s exciting to be an AB team as the underdogs.

    1 Ox
    2 Bongi (for combinations with Ox and Marx brings a turnover threat from the bench with Kwagga starting, we will need that when Kwagga gets subbed)
    3 Malherbe
    4 Eben
    5 Nortje (To call lineouts)
    6 Siya
    7 PSDT
    8 Kwagga (If Louw starts, there would be no place for Wiese on the bench, and Rassie will want Wiese on the bench to give him minutes so he can start the next game)
    9 Grant (he was on the bench in both Ireland games, meaning he’s ahead of Cobus in the pecking order, Cobus only played with Sacha because it was his first start, so an experienced 9 was picked, and 2nd Aus game was the C team, Pollard will be back at 10, so Grant will get the start)
    10 Pollard (experience)
    11 Arendse
    12 DDA
    13 Kriel
    14 Kolbe
    15 Willie (experience)
    16 Marx
    17 Kitshoff
    18 Koch
    19 Snyman (better off the bench and we need a starter to call lineouts)
    20 van Staden (Rassie loves him)
    21 Wiese (Wiese to start the game after so needs minutes, so no Ben Jason Dixon, but Pieter Steph isn’t getting subbed anyway, meaning if BJD is on the bench Eben will have to get subbed)

      @marconel 2 месяца назад

      Yes - I think Am at 13 is not inconceivable. His defence is strong and his distribution skills second to none. He also is a tactical kicking option. Sasha at 15 is not unseen. And I'd rather have both him and Libbok on the field to enhance try scoring capabilities than have Pollars in simply to kick when he is not immune to missing. Respecting NZL too much means you keep them in the game and they know how to eke out a victory. Argentina showed that they are not bulletproof by any means, but the key is taking the game away from them and not leaving them to feel they are still in with a chance. Springbok legacy and dominance will only be considered legitimate by supporters worldwide when its seen between RWCs. We are sitting pretty with a long time left to keep building, but that means the time is now to stamp down authority and capitalise on the good health of Springbok rugby when compared to the rest of the world. Holding back is not an option. Its now time to truly hold the mantle of innovators and world leaders.

Ox has done nothing at all standout starting, all his high performance has been off the bench. Kolisi, great bloke, captain fantastic, doesn't have the work rate, with a bunch of quality options he keeps off the field by being automatically selected. Reinach is garanteed bad kicking and average delivery at a pivot point, rest of his less key gameplay is great.(I see 9 as SA weakest point easily) Lebbok can crumple under pressure infinite times and keep getting selected.

    I would start reinach and play a 6-2 with grant on the bench alongside Wille with Sasha at 15 I think grant has had one start for the Bokke against Romania and then starts against NZ when he has had one game against a big country against Ireland off the bench .

    I think Grant Williams will start. He was on the bench for both Ireland games behind Faf, and when he came on he was better than Faf. That tells me he’s 2nd choice, but with Faf injured he’s now first choice. Then we played Australia, and they chose Cobus because they wanted experience next to Sacha for his first start. Then the second game against Australia they went 2nd and 3rd string. So if Grant is first choice, why would he start that game?

    Everyone is hating on poor old Salman Moerat, go look at the first test against Ireland earlier this year, towards the end of the game he pulled off a try saving smother tackle under the poles, it that tackle had been missed the whole nature of that game could have swung in Ireland's favour. We all know hat he's not on the level as our other locks, but he's not the useless player may muppits are making him out to be.

      @Karma-qt4ji 2 месяца назад +1

      @@steliosayiotis178 Not exactly the point, is it? Questioning whether or not an 8th man could have pulled off a tackle made by a lock. Simple fact is that Jasper and Elrigh are probably our 1st and 2nd choice 8th men, with Kwagga being 1st choice replacement, whereas Salman is probably only 7 in the pecking order, still made the tackle, still puts his heart and soul into it, but is considered by many to be nothing more than a "quota". That's not only extremely disrespectful to the player, it's also insulting to think that Rassie is so stupid that he would "make up the numbers" with players who he knows won't be there when the mini injury crisis is over. 6 new caps given to white players this season alone, but we can't find any good black players at URC level who deserve to be in the mix? Really?

      Y'all have 10 points. We have 5. If we win (without a bonus point) we'll have 4 points, taking us to 9. If y'all win (without a bonus point), y'all will go up to 14 points. If y'all win with a bonus point, y'all will have 15 points. If we win with a bonus point, we'll have 10 points just like y'all (which is our goal).
      Then the second test will be the decider. But if y'all win both tests with or without any bonus points y'all will definitely win it. But we'll trash Australia and Argentina can upset y'all.

All Blacks only team to score a try in the final and would have scored more tries if the bunker didnt cheat. Kolbe was crying because All Blacks should have won. The history shows All Blacks thrash every country in the world including Spring Boks and are the greatest ever in history of rugby championship and history of games between each other. South Africa got smashed and because the ref Wayne Barnes was on your side he has to promote South Africa in the northern hemisphere.

And the try Richie set up for Aaron was rightfully disallowed because Eben forced Ardie to knock the ball on in the line-out. Cheslin cried because he had no option than to knock the ball on after Handré missed another tackle on Lienert-Brown leaving Cheslin isolated against Anton & Mark. Cheslin chose the potential 3 which Jordie unfortunately just missed over a definite 5 which Telea would've scored.
