Klopt deels!
Thanks @Sal! It’s the OEM BMW Rallye screen. I’m 1,86cm tall and I find the buffeting not an issue at all, most of the wind is directed on my chest and neck. Which is fine in the warmer times of the year. I suppose only at higher speeds with my Shoei ADV helmet with peak visor I get some minor wind vibrations on the peak of the helmet. At the time of this recording I still had the OEM mirrors on, I think those made the buffeting worse as they’re pretty big. Currently running smaller mirrors and hardly experience any buffeting at anymore. But I also have a larger screen now for the colder months, so I don’t know how the buffeting would be now with the smaller screen 😉. Hope that helps, ride safe! ✌🏼
(devrouwachterop) ik ga me hier in verdiepen. Ps mooie gs👍
Thanks, leuk om te horen! Ja de J&H uitlaat is echt heel nice, best of both worlds!
Heya @Graffig! The phone is much better than the standard Nav options, IMO. I use a few different apps for traveling, commuting and random rides (Waze, TomTom Go, and the Detecht). I got a Quad Lock wireless charging head and the vibration dampeners, so it doesn’t effect the camera at all! But I’d reckon a vibration dampening addon is a must, even with the slight vibrations in the bars on the GS.
@@gsmrmoto Thanks for the info. In the process of moving house in the next two weeks and once settled in a month planning to purchase either a 2020 R1250GS or S1000XR, so all guidance and advice from existing riders invaluable at this stage - have a great weekend 👍
Awesome! I think you won’t regret getting either one 😉. The GS is amazing all-rourd and will likely keep amazing value over the years. Also heard great things about the 1000XR too, never took one for a spin though. My sights were set on the GS 💪🏼
@@graffigdesign8977 I know this is a bit old now- but I’ve got a GS and came from a Ninja ZX6R- I got an itch to change to an s1000xr - so I took one out for a 100mile test ride- by the end of it I was so happy to get back on the GS and appreciated it so much more- sure it’s not as fast technically speaking, but on 99% of the roads I’d be doing the same speed, in more comfort, and the torque gives so much flexibility

Beautiful bike! I have the same. How do you find the wind buffeting with that small screen? Is it a Puig screen? How tall are you? Thanks! Ride safe.

Nice :) How are you finding using your phone for nav in terms of vibrations and the built-in camera - have a great weekend

@@gsmrmoto TBH, think it's more likely to be the GS 👍😄
