Hmmmmm, nah. I prefer cruising the backcountry making as little noise as possible. Sound is pretty badass, but if that bike was in my campground it would suck.
Sounds lovely, if you press the button 2x you get a mid way sound .

its not just 2 modes, double tap twice and it goes to something invetween. so it is 3 modes. just fitted mine now. next will be de. ated headers😂
At timeline 6:04 you are showing a Ti Header Set that gets rid of the Catalytic converter. I live in the US and removing the converter on a motorbike may not be a big deal because no-one is checking, but for you guys in the UK and most of the european countries, your bikes have to go through annual inspections. Do you have to switch back to OEM config every time the bike is inspected? Now if the bike is fitted with a Jekill & Hyde exhaust, do you have to pay a J&H dealer do do the swap, so you don't void your exhaust's warranty?
To answer your last question……if the header swap was absolutely necessary well then no this would not void any warranty if a non J&H person did this. That would be impossible to police. The point is you can’t buy a J&H can unless you have it fitted by a J&H authorised fitter

A slip-on never requires a flash. If you change the headers, it is strongly recommended.
What a beautiful looking exhaust. I love it. I can't understand why it has to be installed by the seller though. I mean, how hard is it to swap an exhaust? I guess it will cost about an hours labor to install.
It takes a bit long than that. It’s connected to the bikes canbus via the alarm. I do somewhat agree with you but this is a stipulation from Jekill and Hyde themselves. I imagine it definitely irons out all people that would try and give it a go, mess it up and expect support under warranty. We’re supporting these people every day with other brands and products we specialise in.

Hey Steve…. Nice looking exhaust & it matches your 719 kit 👍….. Excuse my ignorance or did I miss something, But you haven’t mentioned the point of this electronic flap, Will it give more HP when fully open?
There are no stated bhp increases on their website and when I have asked in the past they’re very much more about sound than power. It certainly doesn’t reduce power and it probably does increase bhp by a tiny amount but it’s not something they care too much about. The can is fully road legal and sounds better than the stock for sure.
Stay tuned for the next video where we fit the decatted akra headers alongside the J&H can. That’ll increase BHP and sound insane too
@@ABIKETHING Hey Steve, Thanks for taking the time to reply 👍…. I put a full Akro system on my GSA 1200 and along with a K&N filter and a remap it totally transformed the bike, I always found the 1200s got a bit bogged down when trying to initially pull away with the standard exhaust system, had to have a double take with the rev’s to pull away, probably different with your shift cam 1250
