I love Fairy Tail to death, so hearing people say that Edens Zero is better excites me a lot. Fingers crossed for another successful series from Mashima!!!
Hopefully he won't lose his mind with the fanservice for this one halfway through like he did for fairy tail. Was about the only downside to that show.
@@shadows_star It has a very tightknit plot you see there are very few points where you could place filler. So if he overdoes fanservice it'll be more noticeable than fairytail. But thankfully the fanservice is more subtle but still there you'll notice its but in manga it only comes for 1-3 panels each time and then continues to the plot.

I swear, the manga is sooo amazing! Fairy Tail got me back on watching anime and it will always have a special place in my heart, so it makes me happy that another work of Mashima will touch the hearts of viewers. I'm aware that Fairy Tail has a lot of flaws, but I don't think it deserves all the hate just because of the so-called "Power of Friendship". It's just that it was written to be like that. The story wasn't supposed to be dark or depressing, it was meant to be hopeful and positive. In that aspect, Fairy Tail was amazing. Sorry, I just love it so much that I'm hurt by the unnecessary hate. Personally, I think that Edens Zero is way better than Fairy Tail, but both are amazing nonetheless. I hope people will give this a chance because all the characters are awesome and lovable. I'm a Weisz stan, btw! Let's spread love, not hate! Good day~
If you think eden is even better and love both you should 100% read rave master. Imo rave>eden>fairy. I started with fairy then read rave and fell even morenin love. Fairy imo had a very bad second half so it left a bad aftertaste that made me not want to watch edens but after people told me its like rave I started it and I feel like im 12 again reading rave master. Mashima is undoubtly an author that Is dear to me despite not been some secret genius like oda/araki and other more famous ones

This opening has the same vibes as the 1st op of fairytail. It says “An amazing adventure is about to begin.” One that we will never forget. And one day we’ll come back and remember this nostalgically.

He always carries one of his mascot characters into his next story, along with new characters with appearances and powers that you can instantly tie back to the previous cast. Even having the same names. The "Oracion Seis" is in every single one of Mashima's long-running manga. He always carries over concepts such as: fashion, character designs, entire factions, mascot characters from previous stories over to the next one. Fairy Tails characters are almost entire counterparts to RAVE's characters. Same with Eden Zero.

Revolution. Those 3 songs I mentioned above, used to be played continuously on Animax. Ah! Good times.
He also sang the new Thunderbolt Fantasy op "Judgement" this Spring season and plays a main character in the series. I also recommend his recent songs His/Story, Roll the Dice, and Crescent Cutlass.
Man I thought I was the only one that got Radiant vibes. Similar protags. Since I doubt Radiant gets another season, I'm going to read the manga after I catch up on all my current manga bookmarks.

I read the manga, didn’t expect it to become an anime anytime before 100 year quest, and what a pleasant surprise indeed to see this in my recommended today
I really love the whole sci fi shonen thing this shows got going. Most shonen (that I know of at least) tend to lean more towards the fantasy side of things. I also think that was intentional since the author spent so many years doing fantasy stuff.
One of my favorite animes of 2021, I'm currently reading the manga and literally Mashima recognized his errors on Fairy Tail and make Edens Zero a really good manga, not the best, but I invite everyone to give this story a chance
