In July 2016, Marvel removed the film's title, and it remained untitled until its official title was revealed in December 2018. Filming began in August 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia, shooting back-to-back with Infinity War, and ended in January 2018. Additional filming took place in the Metro and Downtown Atlanta areas, New York, and Scotland. With an estimated budget of $356 million, it is one of the most expensive films ever made.
Avengers: Endgame was widely anticipated, and Disney backed the film with extensive marketing campaigns. It premiered in Los Angeles on April 22, 2019, and was theatrically released in the United States on April 26, 2019, in IMAX and 3D. The film received praise for its direction, acting, musical score, action sequences, visual effects, and emotional weight, with critics lauding its culmination of the 22-film story. Peter Sekidia It’s freaking massive - 1:23 when he sticks it in the ground it’s as tall as he is. Imagine a ten foot blade made out of a metal as strong or even stronger than vibranium being swung at you by one of the most powerful beings in the universe. Someone so strong he can defeat a guy who can one-punch multi thousand ton space whales in 30 seconds, defeat a 1500 year old warrior who can destroy skyscraper sized spaceships with ease and survive the heat of stars, someone who can survive using the most powerful objects in the universe.

Part of what makes him such an intimidating villain, aside from being as tall and as strong as the Hulk, is that he mostly speaks very softly. He has a a full on conversation with Strange in Infinity War that sounded like they were out for a stroll in the park. You almost forget that they’re about to fight.
He's like the Mike Tyson of MCU: Deadly but calmly spoken.

@@novajam1769 animal populations control themselves, not humans/titans, Thanos figured that if what happened on Titan would happen on other planets, and he thought but doing the work for them he was merciful. Overpopulation is an actual threat to human populations (india and China to start). He attempts to solve it on a universal scale but does it the wrong way, instead of using the power he got to teach civilizations how to control themselves he did the worst thing imaginable.

Greatest villain of all time period Thanos is the goat
They truly embraced the "mad" aspect of "The Mad Titan" in Endgame. And I love it to this day.
His mindset changed once he saw that they were trying to undo his destiny. From there on, half the universe ceasing to exist isn't the right thing to do for him anymore - all of it must be extinguished.
One thing I still would have loved to see in the movie is Mistress Death.
Well, perhaps the "What If...?"-series explores that relationship at one point.

I like how Thanos calmly accepts his fate after Tony snaps them away. It shows he knows and accepts the rules of engagement, and that winning comes with the expectation of loss too. A much better villain than DC's pathetic incarnation of Steppenwolf, who threw a strop when he was defeated.
