    Was certainly the most interesting competitior that year. Seeing him was one of the influences on me taking up piano professionally.

    he plays in Armenia as far as I know, a few years ago I saw him in trio with classic guitar and violin playing in Yerevan and he was one of the organizers of that trio.

    At the end of the performance on a bit of my tape that got wiped, Howard Goodall describes him as "this very likeable man from Armenia"
