Honestly I prefer the old theme. It feels a lot more like you’re fighting a powerful “final boss” enemy, with the use of a whole lot more instrument and the overall dramatic feels it has
Agreed. Though the style kind of works for certain themes like Nargacuga, Rise versions of old themes just seem to lack the BANG of the original - hence why I started mashing up themes in the first place lmao
Well rise is a bit more calm because they focused on transmiting other things and not just a force of the nature unleashed. Not saying I like rise's themes more but I understand their new point of view, as you see, all new games has a thing they like to attach, like a theme, type of attack and so on :')
Gore isn’t the big bad anymore. He isn’t some mysterious, all consuming plague spreading beast now. The guild has done enough research on him and has had enough experience that he’s no longer a massive threat.
The fact that theses theme are together and yet sound the same it shows the care they put this monsters return
