Great to see another upload from you. A bit of organized chaos while van cooking is a relatable thing! Well, it is for me anyway. Pro Tip; let nature (or proximity to a heater) do the defrosting of the grub - saves on butane. And broken children’s cutlery. And edible shrapnel in the eye.

I know hardship, as many of us have gone through or going through, it does get better, may take some time but it does 💙 If you can ever get stuff from Costco, there are meals you can get there, easy to prepare in one pan and it’s got lots of veg too. I am sorry that your van has so many issues with cold spots, hoping you can get it better insulated this summer for next winter. I really enjoyed the video, you really must put more out!! Hiya Amber... HNY 2023 to you. Congrats on hilarious footage .... I watch everything at 1.5 speed cuz "we humans talk too slow" (that is what I said to professor few years back as to how fast I got through a filmed lecture, haha). That said you must go back and watch self at 1.5 speed looking for cash at tail end....oh and with that SLAYER of a knife stabing frozen food (uhhhh Matthew, the knife hoarder, can ya mayyybe hook Miss Amber UP?!) Hope you are well and that weather is so much better. I was so worried fir you in those weeks prior in Calgary. Wishing you many times spent with River girl when weather is better and not so dark when off work.

WooHoo :) A New Video :) I had to put a mark on my Calendar :) Thanks Matt for lighting a fire under her butt to make another video :) I hope you can find some utensils ( metal ) at a thrift store and keep trying to do more in home cooking :) Look for a splatter screen for the frying pan , cheap ( dollorrama has them :) By summertime you should be a Great Cook lol :) So will you be Redoing your van build ?? , like insulation and anything else that needs doing before next year deep freeze hits ?! I have extra insulation if ever need some :) keep going with videos and you'll be a you tube Star in no time :)

Amber, working with Matt on fixing up your vans electrical (like in a recent Vanlife Plus vlog) and other things would be a great way to vlog. You could show things from your point of view. In this particular vlog where you cook something and tell a story you have shown that you are a great storyteller and have screen presence! A lot of screen presence. Nothing to be shy about.
Some vlogs where you go over the issue you have to deal with,. . . showing you talking to Matt about fixing it or you fixing etc would be great content. Just go ahead and do it. Other van lifers show their daily life like when they clean up their van in the morning and get ready for the day etc. etc. You should start doing that. People don’t expect perfection and you don’t need to worry about great editing etc. etc. you’ll get better as you go on. Everybody does. You can’t look at people that have had years experience and compare their videos to yours. You need to look at their first videos…
You are a natural! “Believe in yourself” should be your catch phrase in your vlogs. It could work!
