Great job Amber, it certainly helps being short and tiny to maneuver the big items around! Having the bed that way is much better for you, good to have the extra room for sure. The end result is wonderful! I always feel bad watching Matthew when he is maneuvering around on his knees in Lucky 😔, sometimes he looks awkward, especially for his back. I loved watching this video. I'm building out my van and struggling like you. I'm 68 and full-time now in my 2008 Ford E350 hightop. I'm very disorganized and a klutz so it's been a struggle. Like you I'm trying to do this in parking lots.

I used to have a fear of speaking in front of groups of people until my boss gave me no other choice. I worked at a resort that had timeshares and we go new families checking into the every Sunday. Every Monday we had a meet and greet wine hour to talk to the newcomers, tell them what activities and such they could do around the place. etc. Well my boss usually got up in front of them and gave the speech, until one day she made me do it alone because she had a meeting. I actually threw up before hand because I was so nervous. But she kept encouraging me and giving me tips until I felt comfortable doing it. Heck before I left that job I actually looked forward to it!!! It is a hard thing to overcome your fears no matter how big or small. I am so proud of you!!!
That was a fun video. Your so down to earth. A little tip for you. If you will take a bit a little smaller then the screw your going to drill in and pre-drill a hole. The screw will go in much easier. Thanks for the fun. :)
You should share tool resources with Matthew (like that cheapo power drill) he already has tools stored on his rooftop bin You still park next to each other, right? No more collaboration?😢 Like the few van repair and maintenance ones was pretty educational and brings other prospective van lifers an accurate view of what you deal with out there in hotel Walmart or camp grounds

I would love to get a van I can stand up in but I don’t plan to be in the van forever and since I already have my van I want to focus on debt and building up for the future, whatever that may be. BUT you never know what the future may bring!

Amber we all remodel. We all know why, the more a space is used the better ideas that work for you. I’ve been in a couple of man caves, one was a homemade modular set 😅the he moves around depending on the project. I thought it was a little overboard too at first, but it works! Great presentation! Just a funny not malicious - some might take it that way, but with all the jostling around to move things I can only remember the saying “ If it’s rocking don’t come knocking “ Cheers!
Yes I don’t know how good the charger works because when I plug it in to my power station it says only 1 watt is going out but 🤷♀️ haha glad it didn’t die on me

That new bed space looks really cosy. Separates your living area from your bed area too - quite difficult to do in such a small space. Looks amazing!
