My Top 5 Daily Shave DE Safety Razors:

I was asked to put together a video of my top 5 DE safety razor choices for for BOTH daily shaving and beginners whom are thinking about switching from cartridges to this kind of shaving. The first video I put up, the audio was jacked and I wanted to switch a couple of razors around so I took it down and put this one together in its place. All links are listed below and please remember that this is an opinion based on specific subject matter.
#5 (honorable mention) Merkur 38C:
This razor is ultra mild and great for daily use. In fact, it's way too mild for my beard type. I have to use Feather blades in this one to get a decent shave. I feel like I can make 4 passes with this razor and still not get a close enough/socially acceptable shave. I personally think that this razor is more mild than the famous Merkur 34C and 34G HD razors. But here's the link:

#4 (good) Phoenix Artisan Accoutrement's Doc/RazoRock S.L.O.C:
These 2 razors are what I like to call "sleepers". Both are mild and comfortable enough to use daily BUT they are both efficient enough to remove tough and thick stubble. 3 passes with either of these razors = BBS shaves guaranteed. But your technique needs to be pretty good. The links are below.

#3 (Better) Rockwell 6C White Chrome:
I prefer the #2 base plate with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword (China) blade. Rockwell Razors has advertised that with the #1 base plate that it's impossible to get cut due to the engineered negative blade gap and geometry into the razor. I have shaved with all of the base plates and even with the higher plates, I felt that it was extremely difficult to cut yourself with the razor. Here's a link the the Rockwell 6C white Chrome:

#2 (best) Leaf Shave Razor:
The Leaf requires NO TECHNIQUE and the shave can be customised to your like by using 1 DE blade split in half in the appropriate slot. The bottom slot is the most aggressive while the top slot is the mildest. Here's the link:

#1 (Top Choice) : Fine Accoutrement's Marvel DE safety razor:
This razor is awesome and one of the most comfortable razors I've used. No technique required due to the angle being preset in the angular shaped top cap and with the oversized safety bars, it's pretty hard to cut yourself and the blade gap is extremely efficient as well. Here's the link:
