This speech was recorded at the Rice Hotel in Houston, Texas, and runs for 11:32. Kennedy stresses the importance of separation of church and state and condemns nations without religious liberty and tolerance. Kennedy de-emphasizes the importance of Catholicism in his candidacy.

When Presidents knew the meaning of separation of church and state.
you know that church and state Union its the Image of the beast.
Shame he couldn’t see fit to extend this wisdom to his political dogma, which plunged us into Vietnam, or his bed, which rarely included the woman he was married to.
JFK was clearly a complicated man with some outstanding attributes and accomplishments but where he failed he failed spectacularly.
This is terrible.

Actually, the Roman Empire FELL not long after making Christianity the official religion (and all other religions were persecuted, to the joy of Christians of that time).

No. What happened was they took matters in their own hands, they were violent, they killed, the crusades took place under catholicism. Separation of Church and State is entirely moronic. God rules above men and kings, and the princes of His Church and the princes of a faithful land ought to submit to God; the Church is God’s Bride and Body on Earth, and thus the State ought to rule in tandem with the moral voice of God in order to preserve the country from moral rot.
