- Easy installation! Here is what you need.
- 8mm for the bigger light
- 10mm for the smaller trunk lights
- Trim removal tool
Helix lights can be found on ebay. I was very impressed with the quality. Let me know if you have any questions!

Surprising what such an easy little mod that doesn’t have to cost silly amounts of money can do to a car. Looks awesome bro. 👌
The LCI tails really do make a difference. Nice tutorial!
Thank you, they really do!
I appreciate that you got euro spec tails with amber turn signals!
Can’t wait to do this conversion when I get my car back 😭
Thanks for this! Im planning on changing mine also! Gives it a younger look lol makes my 08 look like a 2013 lol
Exactly it’s crazy how big of a difference they make, you’ll love it!
@@AlexGray will this work on e93 m3 2008?
@@adamhasan6972 unfortunately not, the e93 has a slightly different trunk lid due to the hardtop convertible
@@adamhasan6972 e92 tail lights wont fit the e93 but u can get e93 lci tail lights and install them

Nice!
I like the pre LCI better. More defined pin stripes.
What length sockets were you using 1/2 inch or 1 inch?
Question bro what does the light above the inner tail light LEDs do?
How was fitment ... Any gaps ?
Wow why didnt I come across this video a week ago. My tail light led strips burnt out on both sides n they was hella expensive for brand new oem. Still pricey for the used ones that I bought
I know man oem parts are too damn much
Also what code came on a month later and how did you resolve that problem???
Sweet! They look good for not OEM, what’s up we cruising out to Cars and coffee palm beach June 9?
I wish I could! I used to live in west palm. I live in Georgia and drove down to FL to get this car so I’m a little far unfortunately
Alex Gray awww man I thought you were in Florida lol
I also never use my blinkers
you didn’t show the reverse lights 😂
Great video!! Can you share a product link? I've searched eBay but can't find them. Thanks.
Thank you!

Link of them?
I need this for the E93. I dont think other products come with the harness.
Aj King do you know if I can use oem lci 2011-2013 tailights for my e93 2010 335i? Without any codes or is it plug and play?
@@TimGtmf You need to code it because the LCI is LED so it uses lesser battery.
Does this Lights also fit for e93 convertible? The ebay description says it wont fit
It will not, e93 lights are slightly different in shape I guess because of the trunk lid made for the convertible.
Did you fix the code you got a month later after installing? I'm considering of buying a set.
Unfortunately not, I don't think I can do it with the Carly app so a shop has to code it out which I have not had time to go and do. But by now I am used to the error message and it doesn't bother me.
Hi Alex, did any code appear? I'm gonna be installing them on my E92 tomorrow, got a pair from producent called DEPO from Taiwan.
About a month after the install I've got a code :(
@@AlexGray can you tell what does it says?
Will they work on the convertible too?
No I believe the e93 have their own versions due to something being different with the trunk lid.
What about beautiful M5 how things go with repair.
I just got it back!
I'm glad to hear that. Congratulations and expect a video soon 👍

Hi how do you change the leds if they blow in the new ones as it looks like it can’t be taken apart from the back
On mine
Yeah I noticed that, unfortunately I don't know of a way, it may not be possible.
Lol yeah if your LEDs blow, you can't change any bulb. You need to change the ENTIRE assembly.
Do you still have the link to this tail light bro?
I’m not seeing the exact brand but these are probably the same. There are several brands and different price ranges on eBay if you type in e92 Bmw LCI tail lights
www.ebay.com/itm/DEPO-LCI-M3-Amber-LED-Signal-Rear-4PCS-Tail-Light-For-2007-2010-BMW-E92-2D-Coupe/173295977896?fits=Model%3AM3&hash=item28593ec5a8:g:t18AAOSwDk5T6-4G
Do you need the harness AND the footwell module 3?. So many videos show that its plug and play with the harness and then others, even FCP euro say you also need the footwell module 3. Which is almost $600. More than the LCI tail lights i bought from the junk yard..
I’m not sure what the footwell module is, this kit doesn’t come with that. I assume that’s what codes it to the car to prevent a warning message. A warning message eventually did pop up with these lights, but a shop should be able to code it out for an hours worth of labor. I never did it though.
@AlexGray OK thanks! I'm hoping it's just the harness that I need and not the module. I could defs get it coded later on.
@@zureai good luck man
@@AlexGray thanks!
Hey Alex can you give me any link where I can buy it tail light? Thanks
Hi, question: I have a 335i Convertible and I am trying to replace the rear left directional light, but there is no easy access to that area. Do I have to pull the light from the outside? (It doesn’t make sense to me though). From the inside, it looks like I have to remove the whole side panel just to clear the space around the light if I want to remove them from the inside (the small panel is way too small to fulfill any function). but it looks like I also have to remove the three nuts but aren’t those exclusively there to hold the whole light unit in place? Thank you.
I’m not sure how different the convertible is with the convertible top being stored back there, I know the lights are slightly different though. But if it’s similar to the e92 then yeah just those 3 nuts are what hold the outer light in place. It’s a tight fit and you need small tools but I wouldn’t think you’d have to remove the entire panel unless it’s completely different for the convertible.
Hello fellas, Can you change the new headlights from E92 to old ones ?
What do you mean? For the e92 M3 the headlights stayed the same for all years.
@@AlexGray are you sure ?
I'm meaning from new model after 2010 headlights to the old ones under 2010 year
do you have to flash it on these so it doesn't blink fast
Nope, thankfully they blinked normally.
e93 335i Will the model be installed the same?
Installation will be the same but these particular ones don’t fit the e93. The e93 convertible has a slightly different trunk due to the hardtop convertible but I’m sure a company makes them specifically for the e93
Did a code come up eventually??
Yes unfortunately
Do we have to disconnect the battery!?
I'm sure it's recommended but I didn't do that. Waste of time in my opinion and not necessary.
Does it fit a 92 335i
Yes any of the E92s. Just not the E93
What about headlights
StrengthBrosForLife headlights on the M3 never changed throughout it's life cycle. Only on the standard 3 series
