Thx for this video because the aftermarket ones I got look exactly like this and came w no instructions. Also good to note that some of the pins in the connections may not be straight and important to make sure you adjust them or risk breaking off a pin trying to shove the connections together.
No love for the OEM look these days :( I just got one of these beauties after searching for more than a year and I specifically looked for a non sport pack, pure stock specimen. Such a cool car. New taillights do look very cool though.
Hi,What year is this car ?? I have purchased the same lights but my inner lights have spade connectors not a plug,Most of the lights I have seen lci & pre-lci have spades
Hello, I came here from your video showcasing the straight pipe 328 sound! You have 2nd cat, res, and muffler delete. I plan on just doing muffler and res for now. What do you think the difference of sound will be with the 2nd cat still in? Ik with a 2nd cat delete there’s more burbles.
I did the resonator and muffler at first, still very load and good sounding just not as many pops. 2nd cat delete will make it like 30% louder/deeper and crackle like crazy in sport mode on the highway
@@IzzyE9X ahh ok gotcha bro probably just couldn’t tell from vid, I’ve gotten inspiration from your vids to mod my E90😎 clean ride bro cheers from Wisconsin 🍻
if you install OEM LCI taillights on a non-LCI BMW, you will indeed need the LCI adapter harnesses. If you buy the taillights I installed, they are plug and play.
@IzzyE9X Thanks ! Yeah I just bought oem LCI tail lights off parted out e92. Talked to FCP Euro and they said FM3 makes everything simpler and more OEM but there is an “unorthodox” way which is just to code it out. Only thing is I won’t know if my tail lights are ever out without me checking it myself. Fair trade off, I save like 450 USD by just coding it out
Some videos they just need the LCI tail lights and the harness from FCP euro. But on FCP euro they state that you also need the footwell module 3 as well.. and that cost like $600 lol... now i dont wanna do the LCI conversion..
Help. Just installed the same LCI taillights on a E92 M3. any idea why the sequential function does not work on one side but it works on the other side?
was it from the same company ‘BMWMODS’ or did you purchase elsewhere? If it was from them, contact them and they’ll send you a new set. they’re probably defective sadly
No. I fixed it. To control the sequential function there are 3 wires (blue, white, and red) that plugs onto the bulbs. The red wire has a joint connection. I disconnected the red wire joint connection and viola.
@@cconnormcgowan remove the tail light from the car so you Have a good view or access to the wires from behind the tail light. Look inside, You should see either a white wire or red wire that seems to be cut in half. If that wire is connected joined together, you need to unplug it from the mid section. If that wire is unplugged, meaning you will see two pieces that are not plugged into each other then you should plug it together. That’s the wire that controls the sequential function. Depending on the version of your tail light, that wire could be already joint together or may be unplug meaning you should see two half wires that are not joint together.

It’ll still sound great, keep the muffler and resonator so you can resale or install them if needed

Are there also smoked ones w/ no sequential turn signal?
Police around me doesn’t like that too much 😩😩
from what I saw, they’re all sequential if smoked

worth every cent
@IzzyE9X Yeah sure worth it! Just not sure if I need to footwell module as well or not. I'm just gonna buy the harnesses and see what happens lol
I have 2009 335i convertible twin turbo, that fit on it??
