It’s seriously a war crime that this video doesn’t have a million views, holy shit dude you literally said almost EVERYTHING I’ve had swirling around in my head about this show for nearly 5 years now, feels so validating to know I’m not alone in recognizing how incredible this show is. I also relate to a lot of what you said about relating to KO and his struggles throughout the show. This was and still is a very important show for me aswell, to the point to where I have a tattoo of Baby Teeth (the little baby dinosaur) on my arm. The day I watched the finale on tv I still think was one of the most defining moments of my life, considering how hard the themes hit me especially then, but now even more since I’m 22 and have adult stuff going on. I honestly don’t think there’s any other show like it, and there may not ever be one again. this was a great video, you’ve earned a subscriber! :3

So I didn't get sleep and ended up watching this right before I head into work, but bravo man So many of these thoughts like up with my own, especially how 2017 was so different (I was in college and kinda blew chasing my dream major to make my folks happy, and was drained in a really bad computer coding class when OK KO got announced and it was the highlight of that year once I ended up dropping out and re-entering another college). I relate to feeling like life is passing you by and feeling worried about the future (both in terms of animation and life in general), and with the amount of earnestness and nerdiness in the show I TOO thought OK KO was a show for like, me specifically. They got Jake Kaufman to do music? Like COME ON. The pandemic made that final episode hit even harder, knowing that we're all getting older and it feels like everyone's having their own finale arcs while I'm still trying to find my own. But 2020 Kash, now 2022 Kash is in a better spot, and jve done things that I would've never dreamed I'd do in 2017. Heck, I got to WORK with people who worked on or knew people who did work on this show, and it still is weird how I can say that! KO has helped me find some great friends after it wrapped up and retaught me the value in being earnest and passionate, and I'm really glad that you were able to find that as well and do some kickass stuff too, and I know you'll continue to do kickass stuff. I really respect your earnestness in all your videos and you're just in general a rad dude. Never forget it!
great video!! i feel like no one has brought up enough the horrible experience that was waiting for the point prep arc to end LOL it canonically takes place over a year so it definitely felt like that to us as the viewers lol
Amazing video, it feels so good to see this kind of content about OKKO, I used to think this was a big show for CN when I first watched it in 2018, now I rewatched it these last 2 weeks, after 5 years of mental, physical, social growth, and you kind of made me realize how much things changed for me in just 5 years? Even though it still feels weird to think the me 5 years ago is the same individual as the me right now. Rewatching OKKO felt way different, but it still brought me just as much joy, if not even more now that I could understand a lot of stuff better, and I realize how much effort CN put into killing the show, and how sad it is that the fandom wasn't there to save it at the time :(
