I know this is a rare pick but OK K.O. is my favorite Cartoon Network show due to its humor, characters and expert worldbuilding. When I first watched the finale episode (shocked that there was another episode left), it made me tear up a lil. In short, I loved this analysis on the finale! I found your channel via your analysis of the Point Prep arc and have been a fan ever since! Thanks for giving this show some much needed attention 😎
This was honestly such an amazing finale. It feels like a love letter to the show itself and the audience that stayed with it. More people should watch this show it's wonderful...
I love OK KO. It was such a fun series with likable characters and some nice humor. It had so much charm to it too. It was treated so poorly by Cartoon Network getting a shorter final season and later writing off the series entirely. The finale was pretty solid. Despite clearly showing ideas that they would have wanted to use for future episodes, it never came off as bitter and they made it work for the story they were going for. It also made it easier for them to showcase the sendoffs to the various characters. Cramming all of that into a regular episode length is impressive. I wish that the series could get some much needed love.
This show was way too good. Nothing breaks my heart more than the timeline we live in for animation. Every masterpiece goes underappreciated and never gets to fully flourish. I would do anything for the endless list of amazing shows to be fully fleshed out and finished 💔
TBH sometimes I wonder if the main theme of showing multiple episode concepts came from CN cutting the show short. Also, I find it very satisfying that K.O. ended up running the Bodega since in the very beginning of the show he aspired to be just like Mr. Gar. (The ambiguity between K.O. and Dendy’s relationship also reminds me of Finn and Huntress’ relationship)
Ever since binge watching this show during the summer of this year this show became my 2nd second favorite Cartoon Network show behind Steven universe (my opinion) I loved this show so much
OK K.O. it deserved more for sure, it's a show that didn't deserve the end it had to cancel in the case, good fights, outstanding characters, an impeccable soundtrack and the end of the season very emotional, it will always be in my heart
This is honestly a contender for best finale I've ever seen. Using the fourth wall breaks as a way to show growing up is beautiful and it gets really emotional to say goodbye to everyone with KO. The outro music playing as time has changed is such an amazing closure on this show.
This is the show that speaks to me the most out of every show I've seen. I love it an will never outgrow it. As much as I can talk about how great it is, with its writing and characters, I think the greatest thing it ever did was understand the human condition without musing on it.
Oh man. I totally cried at this finale. It was a goodbye to the show in such a beautiful way. But I heavily related to KO. After college. Everything and everyone was moving so fast. I couldn't catch up. People got married, had kids, moved away, got different jobs, became different people. And I was there. Barely catching up with them and the world that continues to move forward and time that never stops ticking. Juggling life, work (and the unfortunate hustle that comes with late stage capitalism, insane inflation, the shrinking of the middle class), relationships (family, friends, romance, networking). And I felt like if I didn't stay on top of it, everything would and did pass me by. So I cried. And rewatvhed the finale. And contemplated life. Idk. It's just such a good show and it will always be in my heart.
Wow, I gotta say, id never heard much about this show, but after this video I am watching through it. I really like it, thanks for shedding some light on it
Thank you for taking about a underrated Masterpieces of a show. I really loved it and miss it so much. It deserves so much better than what it got have a nice day=>
yknow how some shows are brought back after they end. I wish this was the case, the show needs to get more love ❤❤ the creators had so many more ideas and it shows I wish they got a chance to continue even if it’s been years, there’s always a chance :)
It's always so nice to see ok ko videos out there when there's so little of them compared to other cartoons. I rewatched the whole show recently and this encapsulates a lot of my feelings on the ending, thanks for posting this video :]
You know, in one way OK KO and Steven Universe had a same key element that they shared. Which was talking and not fighting. Steven was with the diamonds as KO was with TKO. And I'm surprised that OK KO handled it better than SU, despite the time constraints.
OK KO needs so much love. This was My favorite Cartoon when I was in high school and I was so sad that it ended. Plus I still watch it on hulu and improved the artstyle of it ❤❤❤
Ok KO was one of my most favorite shows of all time, I loved it so much from the style to the gags and just the whole concept of the show in general. Heck I even have a KO profile picture right now. The one thing I dislike was how Cartoon Network treated the show because at the time it was underrated, so that meant to them that the show is worth canceling. I was just so glad they were able to wrap up everything so we weren't left completely in the dark, even if there was a couple things they missed for the most part they did well closing the plots. If only I could go in some alternate reality where the show was able to wrap things up in their normal rate with either a full season 3 for them or get an additional full season.
This show is definitely one of my favorites and its a tragedy the way that its been wiped off the planet officially by warner discovery. Long live piracy
Both Ok Ko and Owl House both have such strong final seasons but are also full of stuff that works both as fan-service and as a middle finger to the networks that cancelled them
ok kp is one of my favorite shows everrrr and definitely one of the last ones of my childhood as a 2000s baby. TY for the thoughtful analysis. Also, DOES ANYONE KNOW whose kids those two are? They sure look like rad and enid babies, but enid and red action already have like 5 kids. was that ever answered???
Ok ko was probably the most underrated show on Cartoon Network, it’s so good it rlly deserves more attention.

Ok Ko has been, and WILL ALWAYS be my most favourite cartoon net work show ❤️
Been here since the start!

This episode broke my heart to pieces. This show deserved so much more.

This made me reflect deep

Also did not expect Fink to end up as a pro gamer 😂

It makes me mad that this show was deleted from legal streaming in its entirety. Even though I don't use it.

OK KO was my comfort show for such a long time. The final episode made me cry. I miss that show so much.
