    Really good how to video, it helped so much. Let me just buy huge press worth many times of my bike

      Thats not my press. You dont have to own one, pressing the bearing is like 10% of entire job. Rest of the video is useless too?

      @@dirtniron Haha I love your response here. You could go spend over $100 dollars on a tusk steering stem bearing tool if you want. You have to consider how many times you would actually use it though, these bearings last a long time if you take care of them. I gave my local machine shop 10 bucks to do this for me instead.

      @@codyjoseph44 technically a chisel hammer and blow torch is enough if used right but yeah deffo worth 10 bucks to just have it done perfect lol

    Thank you I think I finally figured out what’s wrong with my Yamaha Gt 80 ! My throttle got stuck and ended up hitting the back of a building and was not that fast , but I’m knew to fixing not riding . So if the rim is not bent what else would I might check to get the steering back to straight and normal . It’s rideable but not safe by any means . Any info would be greatly appreciated. Great 👍 job packing those barring’s . Have a good one !

      i think your forks got tweaked, you need to align them again. I would loosen all the fork bolts and front axle and align everything before tightening all back together.. hope that helps

      Dirt N Iron That definitely sounds like that could be it . I’ll give it a go . If it doesn’t work I might just buy another parts bike . Just actually found a great one for like $400 but it’s a runner. The only difference is mine has s title and is in a bit better shape . Mine has all the lights to be street legal and is registered. Best dam deal in my life . $500 for a1979 in really good shape and the guy was a mechanic. He fixed it up got it registered and ride it to work . I think I’ve had it for almost 12 years and it has never not started on me . I wanted the same one as a kid but it was red and mx version not the enduro . So when I saw the thing I literally fled to get it before the next guy got there fcfs! Thanks for your advice! Love the channel 👍

    Good video Rado, I don't know how many of these I've done.....might mention that these bearings come from the factory nearly without grease. I don't know why......maybe the save two cents on each bike.....Haha....it would seem so. If a guy gets a new bike this is one thing he should check right away.

    Just did this today. I got tired of holding the frame. as I hit it kept trying to move. So I went to the hardware store and got a 10inch bolt and a nut for the bolt. Then used my bearing driver plates on each side of the frame head tube. With the bolt through it all. As I tightened the nut it set the races

    Hey man...i need an advice for buying my first dirt bike. I know how to ride it, i Just didnt ever have one. So i know you said that for beginners you recommend 250 4 stroke, bit I heard a lot of negative thoughts about 4strokes (they are heavier, their parts are more expensive, 4t are harder to fix). On the other side i heard a lot of things good about 2strokes and not that much bad things. What do you personally prefer for me to buy.
    Btw ur videos are awesome, im subed.

    You should do a supermoto build where turn a 450 street legal , adding lights, blinkers horn etc would be pretty cool. I’m currently trying to figure out how to wire lights on a 2013 rmz 450

    • @dirtniron
      @dirtniron  4 года назад

      its interesting idea, but here in California the rules are very strict. Cant get dirt bike street legal anymore.. it has to be factory street legal

      Dirt N Iron there’s ways around it I’m pretty sure if you buy the bike out of state and get it registered in Vermont, (don’t have to live there) then get the Vermont plates, registration and transfer it over to California

    If you have a painted steel frame two things: there’s hardly no lip to tap out the races with any ratchet extension or punch. Heating the frame destroys the paint.
