The delivery on the “like a duck… to lava” was pretty epic.
I would listen to him speak in extended warranties 😂
I've always wanted a BB58 but my wife would question why. Now, I can tell her it's because Andrew told me to get one.
If all wife's questions to be answered, then we are going to buy nothing 😅

Conspicuously and erroneously absent: anything Vacheron.
You're the best
@@Totti7982 thanks I only did it because it wasn't in the description when I opened it lol
Not all heroes wear capes.
Thank you Sir
@@Pianoman999- And not everybody can spell the word ‘Heroes’. 😉
Like a duck to lava 😆
And as subtle as a landline lmao. Andrew never disappoints
Hamilton Khaki Mechanical. If you ever heard the term “field watch”, then you should own one of these.
I’d go with Moser. Its dial is simply gorgeous.
As soon as you said the word "happier" I knew you'd be taking about MJW .
A Perfectly Useless Afternoon lodged itself into my brain the first time I saw you review it, and having now owned one for a year I can confirm it genuinely cheers me up every time I put it on. It's the perfect everyday wear, literally cheap and cheerful
Casio oceanus, the amount of people who say they want a go anywhere do anything, pick up and go watch and don't know what to buy,
The casio oceanus s100 and t200 are absolutely perfect watches with excellent build quality
Congratulations on 100k man! Well deserved
No Rolex, no Tudor, those brands have been contaminated by the brand itself to keep the prices high. And almost every person I hate owns one. I ould never buy one.
I do love my BB58 blue! It’s my daily wear. I’d definitely recommend the G-Shock 5610U, too, as one to wear when doing harder work.
i just love the way u talk fast about the watches, not complicated, tecnical, all i should know, and funny
Thanks for showing the Mr. Jones watch. I had not heard of them, definitely need to explore.
I love that video! Great work! And the advice is great!
Citizen promaster eco drive. I just got one last month. It's a great one watch daily wear for those that have a casual lifestyle and working environment
Why is every G-Shock recommendation on RUclips about the rectangular designs?? Theres so much more to G-Shocks than that...
Honestly?
The Casio F91W.
First and foremost, because it *is* a watch you can just go out and buy, because it’s so cheap you don’t have to check your back or credit card account balance.
Second, because it does pretty much everything people want a watch to do - tell the time, notify them of a time (via an alarm), or record an elapsed time (stopwatch), all at a cheap price.
Honestly, I'm a people and the thing I want a watch to do is ostentatiously signal my success and wealth. Time is a mere lesser function.
Stumbled onto your channel and even tho I have been "collecting" watches all my life (I am advanced middle aged now), I really for the most part was probably an Amazon or Retail watch store collector...which has been ok...I like the watches I have...BUT, these Mr. Jones watches blew my mind and after watching this vid, I HAD to buy one and of course had my VegasDood handle engraved on the back. SOOOOO fun and it matches my personality but also I have respect for the Mr. Jones collective...thanks for posting this up!
You should see the new one. A mechanical watch. Amazing, but at around $1600, I was surprised at the price.
Very very infotaining! Funny stuff, wild stuff. Love your work. Cheers!
Andrew I have that same G Shock, I wear it for anything outdoors/sports related it's amazing I'm so happy about it 🎉
Thank you for listing the featured watches!! Much appreciated!! 😊❤
My Maen Manhattan 37 has revolutionized the way I think about 1970’s watches. It’s pure and says more about your taste in watches than what needs to be said. Light, beautiful and arrogantly understated. It’s to VC2215 what the bb58 is to the sub: better 😊
I love my Maen Manhattan 37 and won't bother buying the CW12, which is more expensive and I don't like as much, regardless of price.
I've got a Direnzo Mondial in purple, and a DRZ 02R on pre-order in burnt orange. Highly recommend.
Anyone thinking about spending their money on a Sinn 104 should just do it - robust and fantastic looking watch which will cover you for everything except the dressier occasions (on a bracelet) 👍
1963 Seagull Chrono transplant from Swiss to China - Take a GOOD look at this movement do your research make sure you research the Seller and go for it - this movement is in vintage watches worth thousands- do yourself a favor BUY IT I DID and what a joy to watch that movement engage
I've been back and forth on the SBGA413 for years. Beautiful dial, but at the same time I'm not sold on the titanium because of the shade of gray being a bit dark and with a hint of yellow. I would also like to pair the pink dial with a strap. Enter the SBGA485. That's a gem right there.
Speedmaster is a nobrainer.
Unless you have tiny wrists.
@@IDKline Opposite. It does not fit me, sadly.
he said it "takes to sporting events like a duck to lava"... I'm stealing this and using it in my life every chance I get hahahha
Perfect sunning up of the BlackBay 👌🏻
You are awesome and i love watching your videos!
One of my favorite watches that is affordable is the victorinox alliance automatic. I swear it's just such an under rated watch but it's so nice. The black dial and the red seconds hand make it seems like john wicks watch
I have a Casio G-Shock GW-9300GB (all black with gold numbers) for several years, since it launched, and it was worth, despite the considerable price (was €900 at that time but I got it with 50% off).
It is very resistant, use it everywhere (pool, sea, dusty construction sites, etc) and, thanks to the embedded solar panel, never had to replace the battery.
My only little grievance is that it turns off the light when switching modes but, after some time, you know where you are by the amount of clicks.
Closing in on your 1st 100K subscribers. Congratulations!
I was happily nodding along to all the recommendations, casually sipping my coffee. The day was good. And then suddenly there was a splatter of coffee which I snorted out of my nose as soon as you mentioned 'substituting milk for gravy...' 🤣
Among the wide array of watches I've encountered over the years, the G-Shock GWM5610 and the Casio A700 stand out as my all-time favorites. These timepieces perfectly blend durability, style, and functionality, making them essential pieces.
Do you write your own scripts? Your alliteration and delivery is outstanding; perfect British humor delivered with panache. Well done.
The Christopher Ward Bel Canto is a must buy. Best watch release of 2022 imo
Thoroughly enjoyed vid… Seiko SNXS is a must have piece 👍
This episode watches like an old prime top gear episode. The ending confirmed it. 😂. Love it
In the time it took me to poke around at some secondhand Ball, Grand Seiko, and Rolexes (that I can't even hope to afford any time soon) at a shopping mall watch shop this afternoon, my wife sought out, tried on, and purchased a Baby G for herself. The good news is: it fits me too.
"if you get refused for a loan, come back with your Cartier, and you will get it, and they will make you the bank CFO". Too funny. Then his comment that a Cartier makes you better than everyone else. Cartier Tank is my dream watch. I love his accent.
Andrew! I actually DID want to buy one of those...but, alas, it was a limited run and all gone. That Mr. Jones "A Perfectly Useless MORNING" is sensational. They make a blue variant with a fox, but not that green one with the dude staring up. I might have to settle, but man, wish I'd gotten my hands on that green variant... Great content, Andrew!
I love my Seiko SSK003 gmt. The black blue bezzle looks great in the sun. I'm saving for an Omega seamaster, black dial.
... I knew the Gbd-200Uu-1Er and wear it for work. I'm glad this watch got a mention on your list David.
I would add the Baltic MR01 and Seagull 1963 to your list.
I love your videos.
I have followed your channel since the beginning of time! 😅when only your hand was shown. Your voice and the way you spoke made me think that you were someone a bit older. Now I know what you look like makes it a little bit more fun to watch. (no pun intended)😊
Thank you ❤
Got the bb58. It’s my most worn watch, simply by default when I open my collection each day.
Honestly, the 58 checks off so many boxes it can easily become the one watch. My OG black 58 steals a lot of wrist time from the other 5 watches in my collection.
So what do I do if I'm trying to decide between 2 watches and they both made it into this video? (Moser pioneer and GS shunbun)
I'm not sure when the " I wish all men's watches were sized like my dear nana's watches back in the 1930s " but damn let's get passed this oddity in time.
So true. When did men become enamored with boy sized watches?
“past this oddity “
@@michaelriera6277, maybe around the time men started being women & women started becoming " birthing people" lol strange times ..
You left off the Patek 5711 with the Tiffany blue dial. Great video.
I always recommend the Hamilton pilot day date. Aka the watch from interstellar that copper wears. It is a great watch for $1000. And it holds memories for me.
Also, couldn’t help but laugh when Andrew said, “it’s got bars that move up and down
.”
Oh! I love grand seiko😊- I didn’t know they’d looked out the window to get inspired and made a new one! Cherry blossom dial 🎉 lovely 💕😁......ps I reckon a seiko 5 should be on everyone’s list, just like the black bay, won’t be your best or favourite but if you have one you’ll keep going back to wear it...
My Purple 12 is on order. Can't wait for November.
GOT DAT PURP
GOT DAT PURP
GOT DAT PURP
i love you so much! I recently just found your mamacoo and i’m in love!! Your videos are so fun and you energy is just MWAH! keep living your life
Can never decide what to watch on Netflix - so often just stick on an old ep of Seinfeld ❤
Drop everything and go out and buy, you say! The Hanhart 417ES 1954 39mm, I say. In fact I just have, and hopefully it's arriving by courier today. 😍
The Casio G-Shock GBD-200-uu is just stunning. Makes you feel like from another era: design, technology and vision of a distopic future (😝)
Tissot PRX, especially the quartz one, and in two excellent sizes
The skull one looks awesome. It is a shame that it will definitely be out of production by the time I would ever have the money to buy one but it's still such a fun concept
"the watch came first and the season was named after it" 😂😂😂 Classic!
I DID go out and just buy a GS Shunbun. The titanium case is not too light on my wrist. But now I can't just go out and buy any more watches for a long time.
For me, a Cartier tank must with the classic black Roman numbers and white (not really white) dial. It’s the watch to wear.
This man’s voice is priceless, cheers Andrew !
the Hamilton manual wind field watch - everyone should own one!
7:19 i thought you were going to talk about the mr roboto azimuth
When you started on chronographs, I'd reckoned the Seagull 1963. The only watch that is so original, that it is impossible to make a Chinese clone of it - because it already was before it was built the first time.
The Bel Canto and Speedmaster I would add to the list.
Citizen Promaster diver Eco drive. A certified 200m diver, eco drive which is cheap. It's a lot of watch for the money. Love mine.
I recommend a yellow Casioak, a more affordable option. Go on, you'll love it. Otherwise, a Christopher Ward Twelve...😊
Haha, the Seinfeld thing. Makes me feel old...
And definitely go for the gbd200, it's awesome.
Clive is killing me with his lava duck. Well done Clive.
Wait, that Mr jones watch is a different variant from the perfectly useless morning? I can’t find it in its online catalogue! Love this one! :(
What has the Tudor 58 against a much more affordable Certina DS Action Diver 38mm?
it's the original limited edition one. However, as the owner of the 'standard' one I gotta say I much prefer the standard, they really took it up a notch with extra gilding and patterning. Highly recommend.
Yes, just go out and buy a watch (Rolex) that has a two year waiting list.
Buy ALL THE WATCHES! 😂
I like the "Talking Hands" format.
If you have the budget for haute horology then everyone should have the VC Overseas. It has 3 bracelets/straps that change in literally seconds and covers the gambit from sports watch to evening wear on a leather strap with perfect functionality and elegance.
Beautiful watches but aren’t VC movements non hackable seconds hand? Kind of off putting for my OCD although again beautiful watch and in house movements
@@HandOfTime
Correct, non hackable. For me that is not an issue. The second hand is only there to show movement and let me know the watch is running correctly. Nothing I do requires second precision.
I love my black bay burgundy on the 5 link bracelet. Having it puts me off the 58 as it just seems better?
I would add a GMT, like Longines Spirit Zulu Time or for budget option Cristopher Ward C63 GMT
The Seiko is nice, I would just remove the new twitter logo from the dial
I love my Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300
BMW 530 D, amazing time keeping, but the case is a bit big on the wrist. I think SKX.
Utter brilliance
The very moment I found out this channel
I noticed you’re the professional Watchfinder & Co. VO
A speedMaster, its unique and not a lot of people have it yet.
Want to start collecting watches? You need two.
Start with a Swiss GADA, wear it for a year or so and start to understand what’s your style is. If you didn’t like it, you can always sell it.
The second one is any cheap digi Casio with a resin strap. G-shock or f-91, it doesn’t matter because it won’t break. Wear as well as much as you can and learn how it fits your personality or not.
So a year later you’ll know what’s your thing.
The ugliness of the lugs on mister Jones watches. Unbelievable. I would buy, the lugs are holding me back.
Yes!!
I hated the lugs so much too, before I bought one. Now it's one of my favourite watches and the lugs never bother me at all. Do it.
Brilliant! Just brilliant.
Breitlling Navitimer... always makes me feel like I'm more of an adventurer!
That ALS is perfection.
After watching this video, I have a new perspective on my g shock gbd 200
My black bay 925 is the just right for my top shelf. For every thing else its the Casio oak GA2100-1A1. For the $ I’ve nothing else that comes close….
Zenith El Primero chrono for me. That and the Moonwatch.
Omega Speedmaster. New, old, bracelet, strap, crystal, Hesalite... just buy it.
I got the 12 and it is really high quality. It will get wrist time. The H Moser will take a little longer, hopeful it will not fly away into clouds of $$$ 😢
Any Oris aquis, one of the best value for money out there!
I'm happy with my Mr Jones. A speedmaster is on my list.
For Chorno you should of listed Tissot and it's automatic, and tissot powermatic 80
I'd recommend the Rolex Explorer II 16570 (ie the older 39mm model)
It has enough telltale signs of being a Rolex without looking like everyone else's (ie it scratches the itch of owning a Rolex without looking like a Lemming), is rugged enough for casual and workplace wear and most importantly is relatively easy to get.
It's easily the "nice watch" I wear the most. And it looks great on a leather strap.
Flawless advice.
