I watched the entire show and I loved it! I'm watching it again cause I learned a lot from it. It is really unrealistic in some ways but in other ways it is. All of the characters changed a lot throughout the show which made it worth watching.

I think people don't give "Secret Life" a chance. I really like the show and I think it's more on target than what people think. I graduated from high school a year ago and high school was just like the show. Lots of people sleeping around with each other, drama, false love, etc. Of course this show is fake and exaggerates the happenings between these teenagers but there is a side of truth in every episode. People get angry because its about sex, but that's the premise of the show!

you know how different that is right? I'm a visual artist and doing fine arts so I know how long it can take. He worked 6 hours on it and it doesn't look attractive. He's finished with it too , if not why would you gift someone an unfinished work? considering the fact that you have a limited time to draw , you think of something you are sure you can finish and at least look impressive not some mona lisa. Davinci didn't show his work to the world after only finishing a nose.

@nakedboxes Art shouldn't only be about emotional content/affect. You need to understand the medium whether it's performance art or a painting, else you cannot get the full aesthetic influence. That being said, some fail in their respective mediums but to discriminate you need knowledge and experience. If art would only depend on emotional content, we would dismiss anything we didn't understand, which is wrong. Not saying it's not happening though.
@donklue I don't think so. I mean, okay, you may have had a bad experience with her, and I will not question that. But honestly, I myself as well as countless other men and women have been inspired by her and what all she has done. Even if some people say she is not "genuine" in her emotions, I don't see anything BUT sincerity in what she says and does. That's what matters. @donklue I dont think she's fake at all. She's just generally nice and doesn't mind getting down and crazy, so people like to put her down for that. If you watch her other shows, she genuinely has great advice for her guests and you can tell she wants the best for them. However, people deem her fake because she would rather not say something bad to someone for fear of hurting their feelings. That's not a bad thing at all. Yes, she has her bad/mean moments, but that's just being human.

I know people who have been together happily for 12 years and more without being married. They still love eachother, marrige or not. It's perfectly right for them to have sex. I also know people who marry and get divorced as often as people change their socks, so yeah.

At my school there are more spanish and blacks then there are whites. And the white kids are the ones who suffer. in the Met. they have a piece of paper on the wall with a random line drawn on it. talk about plain and simple. and people have bought art where its literally just a canvas covered in black paint that has gone for thousands of dollars. but the painting in the video, so what if its plain... it has a deeper meaning.
The video is low quality and that does make it look bad. I do not know what the technique is called. Yes it does involve wax which would be crayons, I guess. The wax is tastefully "coloured" onto the artpad, canvas, whatever and then painted over so that it creates a really coool design x3 Because the wax rejects the paint.
Are there any Bendrian fans on this page? I miss them. They had the four components of a good marriage: love, desire, communication, and trust. Then, they had a gigantic bump in the road, and that all seemed to disappear. Still, it is obvious Ben is not completely out of the relationship; now, I wait for Adrian.
@axlis123 I agree with you, actually being pregnat isn´t so complex compared to the other problems teenagers might have, like psicological problems specially because they are hard to figure out and even harder to solve, and sometimes it is discovered when it is too late and the tenager is permanently damaged or even death because of suicide.

I watched this show a few years ago and I remember being pissed off because although it was fun at the start, it got a bit too mucc and seemed like it was written by doctors trying to scare teens and warn them about risks... It's not bad, but common, that was a bit too much...

The wax is tastefully "coloured" onto the artpad, canvas, whatever and then painted over so that it creates a really coool design x3 Because the wax rejects the paint.
Are there any Bendrian fans on this page? I miss them. They had the four components of a good marriage: love, desire, communication, and trust. @axlis123 I agree with you, actually being pregnat isn´t so complex compared to the other problems teenagers might have, like psicological problems specially because they are hard to figure out and even harder to solve, and sometimes it is discovered when it is too late and the tenager is permanently damaged or even death because of suicide.
i went to cathloc privat school to most of my life and that mostly never happened espaeacally now since its an all girl school pero its true that most of the girls do roll their skirts up excpect for the freshman this year thats very nasty though showing their drunk in he trunk but yea we can be crazy mostly wild though

Well, he has some videos that are funny or helpful, or atleast to me they are. I personally think there is nothing wrong with disagreeing with him, but some people take it way too far. Also, I am not some kind of pedophile since some people seem to think that of me.
I watched this show a few years ago and I remember being pissed off because although it was fun at the start, it got a bit too mucc and seemed like it was written by doctors trying to scare teens and warn them about risks... It's not bad, but common, that was a bit too much...
@PonponponRin Ugh I know! That show used ti be the thing before Pretty Little Liars and whatever. It was good until the sex started being introduced (After Shailene had her baby). All they talk about is sex, sex, sex. The show has no depth. It sucks and it's annoying.
@kdgreer0 What has marrige have to do with anything? You can have sex with someone you love, without being married to them. Marrige, for some people at least, is just paperwork. It is showing that you love a person, yes. But you don't need to be married to someone to love them.
@Kabutopuppy becuase people like that arent interesting. Their boring. Why would anyone want to watch a show about a bunch of good rule followers. Drama, scandals, anything to do with sex or money people are always going to want to know about. People want drama the real dirty grit on people.

Really that's what happened? Am I the only one that finds it weird that the Secret Life seems to be obsessed with teenagers and marriage? I didn't know any kids that wanted to get married in high school or college. They were all too busy getting it in.

Ugh, that Secret Life show is so crappy.... The characters in the show are all so stupid and obnoxious and only talk about sex... They have no lives besides sex and talking about sex and after the child is born it's just like a prop.
@burnoutbob2345 Yeah, it looks like shit because 6 hours is a short amount of time to do anything really serious. If he spent a couple of days on it, who knows how much better the value, proportion, and composition would have been.
Oh lord. If Tyra wants a picture of her 'inside beauty' well...there's not to much to work with. I'd like her more if she wasn't so self absorbed and didn't make all of her 'selfless' ventures and tributes to persons elsewhere all about her.
@Kabutopuppy Because humans are animals, They like to see abnormalities, unexpected, unusual things, they feed off it because that is just how it is. I don't think that anyone would watch a show about what you perceive as 'normal' kids, would you?
