Vegan WINCO Food Haul | Bulk Bins Galore!

- WinCo is our favorite store for all our BULK goods. We go there to stock up on super cheap no-salt added tomatoes, black beans, pinto beans, and corn. We move on to the bulk bins for all of our grains such as buckwheat, rice, pasta, and cereals. They also have a great dried bean selection that you can get in 25 lb bags or choose your own size from the bulk bins. WinCo is where I go to get my dehydrated veggie blend that I use in my starch blaster recipe!
We don't buy produce at WinCo very often but they have a nice selection there. When we went we definitely picked up some potatoes, both sweet and white, and some butternut squash.

THANK YOU for the awesome video, for shopping with us & for sharing your finds. Your song at the start, it's spot on!
It's great that WinCo is employee owned, all power to you folks!
Sometimes I think Winnco may not carry certain items i want but after a year of poking around all the isles I have found evrything! I LOve Winnco!
They are building a WINCO in Montana! I have never been more excited for a grocery store to open!
We have two stores in Montana (Helena & Billings), we're coming soon to Missoula & Bozeman!
WinCo totally saves my family money. Great prices.
I also love Winco. Additionally, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market ket is a great place to shop!
Winco RULES!
I've been getting punked seeing those prices! Can't find any "No Salt Added" can goods under a buck in San Diego. Might be worth the 45 minute drive to my closest WinCo to stock up once a month. Great vid. Thanks guys!
Love Winco
Winco is my favorite store too😘😊
LOVE WINCO!!! So much cheaper than any other store
Trader Joe’s has the best frozen broccoli. Not the organic but the conventional bag that’s white. I stock up every time I go there.
So true! I seriously just learned that and I feel like I’ve been missing out my entire life 😂
Food Maxx for cheap produce, Sprouts for some bulk spices. We have many grocery stores and several Chinese,Afghan, and Mexican ones, but nothing like Winco or Aldi's! I wish we had one here!!!
Been going to try Winco for years, but am, I guess, a creature of habit. They've closed all the bulk bins at the store I frequent, so on to Winco... Great video.
I miss winco. Shopped there for many many years. Recently moved to smaller community. Smiths and Safeway only.
Is it an adult thing to be super excited by grocery shopping? Take them crates lol. Love you guys
I find the organic canned beans at WinCo have less sodium than low salt canned beans. Crazy right?
I love this grocery store, how it's set up. I love bulk buying
One of my favorite places for groceries is “Natural Grocers” aka “Vitamin Cottage.” They’re a little less expensive than my local “health food” store. All their produce is organic and they always have specials on in-season fruits/veg. They also have “bulk” stuff, but it is all pre-packaged. Much of it is organic as well. They even have Organic Spanish almonds, which are TRULY raw/unpasteurized.
Wow, that's awesome! Thanks for the tip!
@@WellYourWorld Sure thing! I don’t think NG is in every state, but I believe they’ve got one in Phoenix? Also, be aware that some of their bulk items, like their nuts and seeds, might be in refrigeration-so not always in the same aisle as the more “dry” bulk items like beans and herbs. Happy shopping!
They had emptied all our bulk bins when covid hit. I wonder if they are back stocked?
They re-stocked them not too long ago, where I live. (Dallas)
They’re still empty floor bins but gravity feed bins are open
just had soup I made using the Wild Rice & Lentils from their bulk bin & ate oats from their bins this morning...
The 5 grain and 10 grain are great for clusters!
Those super buckets you buy really save on packaging. 🌎🌏🌍
I'm such a WINCO geek. Totally relate to your video (except the big buckets). The bulks: For avid coffee drinkers , $6.98lb for excellent beans is the best deal anywhere. On my last visit, I must have spent an hour and a half there. I also stock up on canned tomatoes, and ALWAYS grab the Asian Stir Fry and California Blend frozen bags for quick meals. One thing: I guilt over all those plastic bags from the bulks. I have a huge stack because I won't just toss them out.
Why not take the bags with you in your pocket next time you shop and reuse them instead of getting new?
Our store has a bin to put the used bags, so we collect them and bring them back to the store. They say they recycle them.
Elizabeth It just weirds me out reusing bulk bags. I don't want to put a scoop of beans in a bag that might have had a flour.
Well Your World I had in my head that they take the plastic grocery bags but not the bulks.
Yes to asian grocery haul. 🛍️
I, too LOVE sprouts! Thanks for this info...I just moved to a neighborhood with a WinCo a couple blocks away, but have always steered clear. Now I will def go for all that bulk!
I would consider moving to AZ solely for Winco and to Texas solely for HEB 😂
I love The Fresh Market
I love Winco bulk bins! We don't eat a lot of pasta but when we do I love the Brown Rice macaroni or spiral noodles. They cook up so good! We also just bought 2-25 lb bags of Brown Jasmine Rice there this week. Don't be ashamed of your prepper instinct, it will save you and Reebs in the future, no doubt! Thanks for your great videos!
I love Winco. Been shopping there for about 5 years.
When I lived in Eugene, Winco was my go-to bulk food source. In Pennsylvania I have to travel 2 hours to the Weaver's Way Coop in Philly. It is a great place, but can only visit every other month.
I love to shop at Winco so much cheaper and you get it in bulk too and it’s cheaper on vegan foods then Sprouts Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s 😉
Yes! Winco is great, we love it!
you guys are hilarious!! Winco for the win -unfortunately I don't live near one any longer : (
The Reeb's Show featuring DIllion from Well Your World.
Hi guys! I love WinCo, thanks to you. I don't think I ever went there before watching your show. Now I drive from Anthem to N. Phoenix once a month to get my handful of staples. I wish they had more organic options, though. I no longer buy any wheat products that aren't organic (glyphosate!). I don't think they are doing the order ahead thing right now, but at least they stock the organic rolled oats in the big bags. They also have super cheap tofu - superfirm organic tofu for $1.98 and the seasoned baked tofu is pretty cheap too but you have to check expiration dates on them. Since I use tofu in my dogs' food in addition to the family's, it's worth the trip. Hope you are doing well!
Lol...the closest WinCo to me is 17.5 hours away in McKinney, TX!!!
Closest Winco 1132 miles away 😭. Guess I’ll have to move.
You both are amazing! I watched the Costco video, then your channel home page video, and then this. I share your philosophy wrt food! Can't wait to watch more videos. BTW Phoenix is quite unsustainable in terms of water use right?
Well I'm not sure there are a lot of cities that are sustainable at much of anything, Phoenix included.
@@WellYourWorld that is true indeed!
What are your thoughts about Organic?
Mild thievery! 🤣🤣🤣
AUDIO is shitty
I live in Massachusetts so my favorite go-to stores are Market Basket, (“where you always get more for your dollar “- that’s literally the slogan & it’s true, canned beans are like 89 cents each, the frozen veggies are super cheap, rolled oats are almost always on sale, Teddy’s peanut butter is 2/$6), I like Trader Joe’s (mainly for their frozen roasted corn, mushroom umami seasoning, vegan chicken-less seasoning, everything bagel seasoning) & I have an Asian supermarket that’s about a 5 minute drive from my home. They literally have an entire aisle dedicated to noodles so I go there & stock up on all kinds of rice noodles for dirt cheap. I love seeing your food haul videos!!
Trader Joe’s, sprouts and Winco for the bulks..
We have a Fresh Thyme which I love! Like a Whole Foods but less boujie
No WinCo here in Southern Indiana, but I do love to shop local grocery stores when we (used) to travel. OMG!! The Queens Gambit was so good ♟♟♟
That is how we are!! I love to check out grocery stores and mom and pop stores when we are out of town. PS Not everyone can joke about stealing.
i worked at Winco-south Reno, Bakery Dept.,4 years. always wanted to work in Bulk, a much easier job, get paid the same. When in Texas-------------HEB.
Wow, there is nothing like that anywhere in NC that I'm aware of. How cool!
Ugh, I go to winco & always see people freely eating from the bulk bins that have the scoops 🤢- I avoid those & only use the ones with the pull handle where you can’t touch the product. The produce is hit or miss - have to use it in the first couple of days otherwise it goes bad quicker than items purchased from other stores. I must say they do have the best prices for our area.
After seeing this video, my husband and I decided we need to do a road trip to see one of these magical stores. We picked one in Texas (we’re from Michigan) because neither one of us has been there before. I think we’re going to leave on Christmas Day and make a mini vacation out of it. We’re pretty stinkin’ excited!!
Walmart's Great Value whole wheat pasta is $1.00 a pound. Here in NC, Harris Teeter sells whole wheat pasta for $1.00 a pound. Organic costs a little more. I wish we had a Winco. It seems to be a great store.
That's a pretty good price too!
I live walking distant from a winco. It’s great... unless I’m buying a lot of bulk then walking home is a struggle!
Do like we do here. Get a cart to carry your groceries.
We have a Winco opening an hour away, otherwise, there's nothing!
Well you'll like it. An hour isn't too bad since you could probably stock up every few weeks.
Loved those bulk bins. Enjoyed your desire to see supermarkets in other places, am just the same. When I went to Ireland it was so good to go to different supermarkets (plus the signs are also in Irish), and they had a Carrefour's in Dublin (a French supermarket chain). I think it gives you a glimpse into other societies. Nice topic.
I've never known another human who actually liked Jordan almonds, even though, they are one of the world's finest candies. Another reason why Reebs rules.
50 cents a can? Wow that's cheap even if I convert it to my country's currency, its like $3
I don't think our WinCo carries as much bulk bag items as yours does (here in Oregon) - but now I have to go look! :)
Our bulk is still on lockdown! 😔 The new carts are smaller and I don’t like them either!
Tip for storing bulk, add a bay leaf or two, bugs hate them!
OMG I wish we had a Winco?
Make sure to get a whiff of the whole grain bulk bins I have purchased rancid product before!
Thank you for this very helpful
I've never been to Winco but totally need to go.
You two are interesting. I was at Winco today. I love the bulk bins! I buy in smaller portions. Fun video.
Thanks Leslie, glad you enjoyed the video! We are pretty interesting, haha!
Wish we had a Winco!
Totally binge watching the haul videos especially because I live in the same area so I shop at the same stores. Love this.
We just moved from Oregon to Tennessee. I miss Winco!
