Yeah, Eric, she sees the airport 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😆
Excellent Valerie! Bucket list item added. I just need a twin for the open water flying. I was LMAO at, "Eric, I see the airport." 🤣
Hopefully, you can make this bucket list item happen soon 😎
Eric loves to help😉
Cuba is a fascinating country to visit. It has a unique health care system, and for all of Castro’s defects, early investment in public health, health, and education had a payoff within 15 years such that the health status profile of the country approached that of the US within 15 years. It was a landmark achievement.
Capt. Valerie, that was an amazing flight! I love the Cuban air traffic controller, he was great. I can’t remember seeing you so excited but that’s what a new adventure will do. Thanks for taking me along, looking forward to the next installment 🤗
Hi Peter! You’re always welcome aboard ✈️ this was a great experience for us. Glad you enjoyed it too! 🤩
Red soil indicates higher clay content :)
Great video, as always 🪽
red is from iron content
@@REDMAN298 I have both in my area.
To be technical, red indicates iron oxides- basalts, gneiss, etc.
Morning coffee flight Goodmorning capt
Good morning! ✈️☕️
Capt. Val beautiful flight and that landing was feather-light. As always, "smooth operator"😊
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it ✈️😎
Love the Cuban controller. So precise and you could understand everything he was saying (he, wasn't speed talking - hehehe).
He was excellent! Yes!! Very precise 😎
amazing flight thanks Capt Val!
Absolutely gorgeous. I truly appreciate the effort from you guys bringing us those amazing views from those camera angles. Thanks for bringing us along.
Our pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it 🤩
Welcome to my country, the Cayman Islands in Grand Cayman. This video is truly amazing to see it from the other side coming from the North over Cuba as I’m a pilot myself the views are always beautiful. Thanks for sharing your fly in journey to my island. I hope you’re enjoying your stay in my country.
Wow, thank you! It was amazing and we will be back soon ✈️🤩
Stunning! Well done Captain Valerie! Transition Altitude over much of Cuba is just 3000 feet and then you are into flight levels!! You really coped well with the differences with the change in the US at 18,000 feet. And Cayman looks great! I need to fly in there again. Might do it this weekend. Thanks for another really great video Valerie and Eric. Lee
Great learning experience. Hopefully you can fly there virtually soon!😎 Thanks for flying along Lee✈️
@@SkylineBaronPilot Great to see you flying again Valerie. Ok, I'm gonna fly Miami to Grand Cayman today for American in the B738. Hope to film some of it for you. Take care - Lee
@@TheVirtualAirlinePilot awesome! Keep me posted!
You can tell by her facial expressions captain Valerie is used to always getting her way. The way she jumps on Erik for just trying to help says it all in these videos.
Yes, in the left seat of 79L, I am THE PiC, the boss 😎period 😉
I think Captain Valerie, with time, experience, and confidence you’ll find that a synergistic attitude in the flight deck to be a lot more beneficial for you and your future passengers. 😅
Instead of him worrying about holding that phone and trying to give her orders he should be looking out for birds and other objects
Baroness Val & Baron, nice flight!
Thanks a lot!
Capt. Val, that was beautiful. The view, Cuba, and the Grand Cayman's. I hope you and Eric had a great time. Thanks for Sharing!
It was awesome! Thanks for flying along ✈️😎
Wow that would've been a dream flight for me back in the day...thanks for sharing!
Thanks for flying along 😎
You flew over the Bay of Pigs (Bahia de Cochinos).
Ah! Did he read it wrong 🤣
@@SkylineBaronPilot yes Cochinos different from Cohones 😄
Simply wonderful! Thank you -
Thank you 🤩
Wow toujours spectaculaire vos vidéo je les regardent à chaque fois merci beaucoup
Merci ☺️
C’est toutement vrai.
Thanks a lot for your new video
Our pleasure 😊
Beautiful flight flown by a Baron expert. Way to go Valerie. Safe travels.
Thank you 🤩
@18:05 Eric, would you kindly return to the cargo hold where all the hens are stored, fabulous Captain Val can actually see the airport......
Why do you feel compelled to add a nasty sounding comment? It is unnecessary. Anonymity allows nastiness to emerge.
@@infectdiseaseepidemiology2599 I'm sorry that you do not understand the humor that was intended, perhaps you should watch some Monty Python movies, or perhaps that old 80s movie 'Airplane', or perhaps some old episodes of The Muppet Show, that may help you understand what humor is...

Awesome Video 🙏
Nice control of the aircraft !! ... nice view !! and thanks for sharing !! All The Best !!! Awesome :)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello nice Video cool 🛩🛩🛩😊
👍✅ Sterile cockpit Eric🤣
Those Sierra Maestra mountains were the headquarters of Fidel Castro's rebel "army". A wonderful flight to the Cayman Islands, and hope you enjoyed it as I did!
Great info!! Thanks 🤩
Thanks for bringing us along Val and Eric. Question, why doesn't Eric do the RT? Lots of November registered aircraft in Cuban airspace. The Cayman controllers sound American.
Excellent video. Was it an easy process to obtain the Cuba Overflight permit? Contemplating a stop in Cuba at some point or just an overflight to Grand Cayman.
We are looking into flying to Cuba at some point when possible. We’ve joined a group through Caribbean Flying Adventures. Jim is very experienced and handled the over flying permit and the flight plan.
@@SkylineBaronPilot being Canadian registered it might be a little easier for us to fly to Cuba but it still has some difficulties where Jim could help indeed. We used his help for a trip this April to St Thomas. We actually left Northern Ontario with no set plan, however, we had did our homework on just about every country between the USA and Grenada.
What’s your useful load on a turbo baron ?
About 1500 pounds.
Why the blinders just a normal view would be nice. Did you say Bay of Balls ⚽️. Good flight for a great day. Thanks again for sharing this video.
It was the Bay of Pigs!....😵💫
The shades on the window help a lot with the sun. ☀️
You heard it right 😉
Have a great day!
@@gregorylewis8471 yes 😉
What type of plane is that red one taxiing at 24:37?
Diamond Aircraft DA42. The bigger one should be the DA62.(Wiener Neustadt/ Austria) 🇦🇹
Est-ce que vous pouvez atterrir à Cuba en tant que canadienne. Ou les vols en provenance des usa sont interdits. Un peuple adorable ces cubains.
It was not the bay of cojones :)
He read it wrong right? 😂Bay of cochinos.
Not knowing the difference between cochinos and cojones can be rather…humorous.
Guys- Have any of you ever noticed that the best pilots on youtube are female? Sham on us guys!
No shame, just a reality.
Id love to see a flight with Baroness Val and Fly With Kay! One of yall make that happen--Im sure thousands would watch. Kay just upgraded to a Seneca.
