I have been having good luck with the nox going over the same places, just by using different settings. Switching from park 1 to 2 has made the same spots come alive again.
Good tips!! I agree about places not being hunted out. I have found some really good finds (often with long stretches of time between finds) in parks that I have hunted many times and are called "Hunted out". A detecting club that I used to go to bought into this theory of parks being hunted out...that is why they would often challenge me on my finds when I told them where I found them...even when I had another club member with me at the time of my finds....Yeah I soon decided I did not need that and quit the club after two years of membership
Thx Josh. They compliment one another well. I prefer the Deus in iron infested areas. Lighter, more ergonomic and to me it finds deeper targets. Nox of course is waterproof. I like the Nox interface better than the Deus. Lastly…I really do not miss the simultaneous multi freq when using the Deus. Also LOVE the integrated MI6 pinpointer and headphones.
I can’t say that I do. Occasionally I will soak my non silver coins in Olive Oil if I’m trying to pull off a date. I’ve also used what are called “Andres Pencils”. Otherwise for my silver coins I use the ugly box electrolysis machine. I have some videos on this as do others.
Thanks for the tips, Rob!

Hi sir you are fortunate there in America in England its illegal to hunt parks in every part of the country a law brought in by every council Regards
Very true Louis however you all have much older artifacts. Hoping to make it to Detectival next year. Thx for the watch. Stay safe and happy digging.
The "HALO EFFECT " may actually be the compression of the ground by the weight of the rain. Interesting thought?
