For someone with zero detecting experience ( me ) but wanting to give it a try then this is a perfect way to start and learn. Many thanks for sharing your experiences.
The Nox 800 is a wonderful machine. I've pulled 2 1890's coin spills from areas I and many others have hunted untold times. Especially areas with old irrigation systems still in place which wreak havoc on the not so patient detectorist. Also US Mil buttons from 1840's and I'm in California! Not the east coast , Southern US battlefields.
Great finds. Just getting back into detecting myself. Thanks for the tips. Griz looks good. Glad to see him with you out there. Thanks for sharing your adventure.
You should also mention an important thing. Permission. It is very important to make sure you have permission to detect. Check with your local council if unsure. And dig responsibly.I know you do, but it needs to be emphasized to others. I am very selective in what targets I dig to avoid digging 50 holes. On a beach or farm setting may be different, but sporting parks, and venues do not take kindly to a lot of people digging up their grounds. One person does 50 holes, multiply that by a dozen people a month and that is a lot of damage. I have had a few conversations with sporting ground owners who have had bad history from people leaving damaged grounds. So to avoid problems, get permission, and leave the place looking exactly the same as when you first got there. Even a plug can look good, and go back discretely, but go back a week later, and you can notice the damage, especially with certain grasses, and how you open up the earth. Also, in QLD for example, you should have a fossicking license. They are cheap, and help to keep things legit. Well done on the silvers. Maybe you might hit the ultimate jackpot and pull out a sovereign in the near future.
I did my third metal detecting adventure today went to a small park and metal detected around the shade trees and that turn out to be the key to getting $1.80 in coins.
Fantastic informative video! Your videos have help me locate some good areas to detect. I'm on my way out the door right now. Good finds. Thanks for sharing Chris.
Rod Miller thanks mate. I try to make them all concise. The pinpointer is makro one. It hits about 4-5" max. Fully water proof to 3 meters. But I just upgraded to a Garret Carrot. Way better device. The shovel is a custom made one from a follower Wayne.
Noticed that you've still got your factory staff on you're detector,me to,didn't see the reason to get one that's colored, it's not going to help me when I take my ctx 3030,you know, great show
nice catch. found a few sweet spots. love your channel. look forward to your next video. Hey question anyway you can get me some Vo-Gus paydirt. I would love to hold a segment on your paydirt on my channel! it'd be a cool collaboration. I'd pay for it, just let me know.
Golden paydirt Reviews hey man, I don't really sell it currently. When I do I'll let you know. I want honest reviews, not filled with fluff ones so if you can do that you're in!
Vo-Gus Prospecting Yeah no fluffys lol... I'm just talking a sneak peek into your world. just like California gold rush, Adam did he mailed Me what he called petey's special. he didn't sell either. but wanted to so he sent me a bag that would contain the paydirt he's offering. just fun and cool collaboration with another channel, helping each other out
I totally love ypur channel. and would be a great honor venturing into Vo-Gus paydirt/ Australian gold fever. That's what I ment. LoL, think it would be an awesome segment on my channel. I'd pay for anything & everything. Just keep me informed. Thanks mate! good luck on your next adventure!
Who's the wank that gave this video a dislike?😕 with that drone...you're a one man film crew👍. Remember the detectors creed: get permission, take any trash you find and above all....Fill in your damm holes! Nothing hurts our hobby more than some one who diggs and leaves. Not cool. Nice silver mate.
Joseph kolodziej everyone's entitled to their opinion, its what makes this fun. (Even if they are wrong 😉). Drone flying is so much fun, with a bit of practice ill get the hang of it.
@@dtp0119 Not sure what the point to be made is? 🤔 Isn't it a good thing to find uncommon stuff while detecting? 0_o And there are plentyyyy of half dollar and $1 coins in circulation. Most people nowadays will keep the half dollar, but I still get them in change, as well as the $1 coin......which I've dug up many of those.
What's that tower back there?
srip 63 race tower
Dog ,horse ,car ,or lizard race track?
srip 63 cat actually!
Haha Australian joker prank the American! Race cats !Good luck with that !LoL I'll have to goggle that.
srip 63 its actually a horse track. But cats would be fun

Jay Bales thanks bro.
Wow that 1915 thruppence is pretty valuable.
Great video.
Household Dog nah man its a British one. Only worth like a dollar. The Aussie ones the valuable one.
What u need to find is a zar south African sixpence.I got one and was shocked when I found out the value. It's from 1893.
What pinpoint was that your using
Great video Chris I wish you were using a Garret AT Gold so I could copy you Cheers, Geoff
Geoff Brown its only a machine, all the principles are the same 😊 that and as minelab is an Aussie brand I kinda got to rep it
Change your machine to a minelab. Way better than American
Very nice intros with the drone bud. Shows how beautiful the areas are.
Jamie Anderson thank you.
Where are you from. Where are the coins from?

Looks like the Nox is paying for its self
Wayne Tolver-Banks about 25% paid for in Goldie's in two months. Not counting, silvers, silver spendies and jewelry
Cool site for MD!
What kind of digger tool is that btw?(haven't seen that one before)...Thanks
Good Vid!
Dirk Ayala that's because its custom and I may be helping sell them soon.
Interesting. I'm running same machine as you now so definitely following your channel...Thanks!
Did you plant the coins for this video? The camera should stay on the target area from beginning to end.
No I don't plant stuff. If I was doing that I'd want a shit load more views and I'd be planting gold coins.
Hey man, you ever come out to Colorado to prospect?
What the hell was that at 06.34

Did you only find silvers Mate? No Pennies/hp's?

205 I have been trying to think like a gold nugget, no luck so far!
Excellent video.. Thank you.
Love your videos
Was your 6pemce getting a reading of 16?
Ful-O-Gold no, only 1945+ will do that
Vo-Gus Prospecting is that because mine has a lower silver content?

Brilliant explanation thank you Yoda
