same, anyone who says that really doesn’t understand the characters or the song, there was so much energy in their singing, and you can obviously feel emotions in it. I think it’s just because they’re supposed to be a “sad and sentimental” group and sad means lacking any emotion. It’s just what i think tho, i love n25, so i could just be standing up for them lmao
It's so irritating to always see people say that N25 lack emotions in their songs, they really don't and Composing The Future is a really good example of how they can put a lot of emotions into their songs. The lyrics are extremely powerful especially when it come to them as a group. And looking at the actual 3DMV itself each member, when not in sync, has a distinct way they dance and move and they all give off their own individual vibe. This to me was one of their strongest songs. Also listen to the pure vocaloid versions of some of your bottom tier songs and you'll like them better
@@_phong.huynh_ Yeah! I remember seeing someone say that the cover of Hated by Life was bad because it wasn't emotional enough and Kanade didn't scream at the end. But then you look at the lyrics and realize how much emotion is actually put into it.
It’s because people look at it with the idea that screaming = emotion and that’s the only way to express it due to how most utaites preform. It’s so annoying, people forget there other ways ro portray sorrow or frustration. Mafuyu for example has amazing controlled voice cracks to show emotion
you slander a lot of nightcord songs for lacking emotions but to me it is the best part about them.. wild how people find stuff that is pleasant to others off putting themselves.. love watching these kinds of videos it’s so cool how people value different things in music
Yeah I find that really interesting too! I knew this would be quite a polarizing video, since instead of being able to compare the song to the original like in the last video I made, this one purely comes down to musical taste. At least with the large variety of songs in project sekai there's something for everyone :)
Honestly niigo always has the most emotional songs to me, the way they sing it to me is actually emotional too, like all of their voices reflect their characters so well and even the calmness and possibly sounding emotionless just adds more emotion to the song for me
@@idoluv478 I kinda agree with you but I kinda disagree. I like both fast/idk how describe it music, but I also kinda like slow music. depends on the song ig gonna use the evillious chronicles to try explain this I really like the fast paced songs in the series, like Daughter of Evil and Capricco Farce. However, I also like some of the slow paced songs like ‘Waltz Of The Departed.’ And honestly I think the sound of it sounds fine, I don’t mind the tuning much. Although the cover someone who I forgot made is better-
I think you don't get why Kanade Tomosu Sora and Saisei are different. Kanade is the leader of the group and by herself, she is already special, she has hope in her songs and the strength to push forward looking for the future, she is not like the other members of her group whose songs are mainly filled with despair. Kanade has some sad songs but especially in the ones of her events, like the one mentioned earlier, she has that aspect that makes her stand out in her group and make her the leader, actually night cord would not function without her motivation to create songs that make people find their feelings but also hope. While Mafuyus songs are just that, sadness, despair and emptiness not looking for a better future or no motivation or hope it is something that made her stand out as OWN producer.
That's exactly what I was thinking too. Kanade is who I would call "lonely, but hopeful" (not my original phrase), while Mafuyu is only sticking around because Kanade promises to save her. What I've gathered from their songs so far (don't know much of their events cause EN server) is as you said - a lot of Mafuyu's songs are a lot more...dead inside (Saisei, Composing the Future), both in lyrics and singing style (Jackpot Sad Girl maybe being an exception?) Her version of Saisei feels a lot emptier, too. Whereas Kanade's songs (Hated by Life, Kanade Tomosu Sora) have despair, but also an inkling of hope and wanting to move forward that is a lot harder to find in Mafuyu's songs (unless Kanade sings them - somehow her cover of Saisei sounds hopeful too.) Love both characters!
So mad that there’s literally only one duet between the Shinonome siblings. Like, Akito and Ena are incredible singers on their own and sound absolutely phenomenal together. Project Sekai, just please give us more Shinonome sibling duets😭
Yes and personally Salamander didn’t hit for me. Miku sang too much during the cover 😓 no hate to her but if I wanted to hear Miku I’d listen to the better tuned original version
I guess you are not the type that looks up the lyrics of the song? Also, i personally love most L/n and Nightcord songs. Their songs are consistently good.
I do read lyrics lmaoo, but I think that both lyrics and the song itself have to be good for me to enjoy them! I am mostly out of my emo arc, which is why a lot of people are commenting that I don't understand nightcords music lol, but I am old and sad songs no longer have an effect on me as they used to. Cinema is one of the only songs where the lyrics truly stick with me. I think it's great that people can enjoy a song just from lyrics though!
@@idoluv478 No worries, everyone is allowed to have song preference. I am just observing that you love song because you like to vibe with it, not by thinking the meaning of the song too deeply. I personally prefer more energetic than slow songs, but slow songs are critical hit or miss. When it's good, it's truly amazing and can be one of my best songs of all time.
Dang, another divisive list for me. Beat Eater being number 1 is absolutely DESERVED, and Becoming Potatoes, Wah Wah World, ID Smile, and Salamander being so high is definitely good, but Sekai being last? That sucks. I do have a quick question though regarding Moonlight (Akito’s new event song) though. About where would you place it on this list of what you’ve seen?
Good question! I haven't listened to if enough to tell for certain how I feel about it yet (similar to MMJ 'If'), but I think it would be between Nijiiro Stories and From Tokyo. I think it's a good song, but nothing stands out to me with the exception of the instrumental which I really like.
dude i personally LOVE cosmospice, i think it’s a perfect song for the chaotic nature that both tsukasa and saki have and they sound so good together in general. i just think it’s a silly fun catchy song and i could sing the chorus all day. nothing like INCREDIBLE but still a good song in my eyes
@@totoromagsfirst off look at the mv. the outfits are stereotypical to the culture they represent. a lot of people say that the outfits make them uncomfortable. the lyrics are just talking abt how that culture is obsessed with spice (again, stereotypical). just trying to spread that word, its obviously racist and nobody sees it?? please dont argue, try to actually understand and look at the lyrics first. search up abt it too.
@@kirezemitani dude, that isn’t racist. it’s stereotypical, for sure, and that could be seen as problematic, but it’s not racist. it’s LITERALLY a song sponsored by CUPNOODLE. it’s not making fun of a culture nor is it painting said culture in a negative light. heck, one could argue for the racist aspect but another could argue for the fact that it’s reminiscent of bollywood music. plus, i wouldn’t even say this is “targeting” one specific culture. the outfits give a certain vibe but there are aspects of it that are completely unique. how are they uncomfortable?? i guess i just see this music video as pure silliness. and it’s a false assumption to make that something is racist rather than inspired.
Not you saying 88☆ could be "sentimental" 💀 Bruh, 88☆ is a motivation song, the lyrics itself express that is a happy song and not really sad "Become a Fool and flyaway, it's okay if you remember a little part of it sometimes" "It's okay if you crave those hopes and dreams" "I wish that happiness comes to that kind and gentle you"
Lower at 24 was arguably the most shocking thing here. But seeing Tricolor get more recognition here made me surprisingly happy lmao I expected to have completely opposite opinions, but ended up having similar placements even if for different reasons! The divisiveness of your opinions really make these videos unique
resisting the urge to say “say you have bad taste without saying you have bad taste” because some part of me cannot except that ppl don’t have the same opinions as me BUT I ABSOLUTELY ADORE EACH AND EVERY N25 SONG SO IM SUPER BIASED
I think you don't understand how the songs describe the characters because you don't understand Japanese. Each part they sing is more or less related to their feelings and past experiences. They don't sing that part of the lyrics cause "yes".
I think you don't have to think of it that deeply lol, sometimes they just like hearing a vocal more, everyone has preferences. And English translations exist, so you can always read those. But I do see your point
Big agree on your top two choices! And your bottom two lol But there’s one thing i would like to argue, i think that the songs not being “this group”-ish is mainly bc it’s for the composers. Like the songs are very much the composer’s style, the groups just happen to suit/fit in to it and personally i think it works! For why people may prefer the vs version, i find that the instrumentals can vary between the sekai and vs covers! Like i play the vs ver of id smile bc i love the instrumentals more! The same could be said for cinema, ice drop, lower, and ryusei no pulse! If only they could mix the vs instrumentals and sekai vocals then it would elevate the song that much more ;: For the mafumafu commissions, iirc keitai reiwa was supposed to be the group song but he didnt finish in time so they used kuyamu instead and keitai reiwa was included as a cover song. I read that somewhere hmm and i would have switched the places of saisei and kanade tomosu sora mainly bc i prefer sasanomaly Ready Steady being overplayed is understandable! From a meta viewpoint, it was short while still giving you a good amount of points for an event, thats usually the reason why people pick it for coop especially if they wanna rank in the early days. Now its all hitorinbo envy and melt OTL Something I’ve noticed with the WxS songs is that the composers seem to write the song with the members in mind (like Glory Steady Go and Niccori) it’s something that I really love and it really shows that the composers really like WxS! I like Mirai a little more than forward;; mainly bc forward was the first vbs commission song and it wasn’t what i really expected from the group, but its grown on me! And I absolutely adore order made! I think it suits l/n well, i was so surprised to see it so low here ww i wouldve switched it with from tokyo, for some reason i dont like how that song sounds as much;; and for ryusei no pulse i would switch it to the vs version, the tuning is immaculate! For MMJ i would switch Ice Drop and Ai no Material bc I don’t really like anm.... but i think ice drop grew on me bc i love the dance and the mv for the vs version. And as for IF, i highly recommend the Tsukuyomi version! I liked the song before but listening to the full version made me love it! For aoiro enogu, i think it’s pretty too, but Shizuki and Shiho’s voices are too different to mix well and it kinda gave me whiplash when i first heard it ;; Also I’m super surprised that you didn’t mention that Magic Number was written and composed by Kent Ito (Toya’s seiyuu), Oster did the arrangement!
Thank you for all of the info! I actually had no idea that Touya's seiyuu made Magic Number, he's a fantastic composer! I also had no idea that Keitai Renwa was supposed to be Nightcord's first commissioned song! I'm kinda of glad we got a Mizuki x Ena version instead, as they have my favorite vocals in the game :) I recently listened to Tsukuyomi's version of If due to another comment, and I think it's really great! It seems like it would have made a good song for Leoneed. I think my dislike for a song not matching a group is that these songs were specifically commissioned from the artists. When I hear that, it makes me think that the producers should create the songs with the group in mind (as many do for WxS as you said!), so I'm a bit disappointed when they don't fit. Thanks so much for this comment, I learned a lot!
I was surprised to see Nomad so low as it's genuinely probably my favorite song in the game, but I think more so for the beautiful instrumentals than the cover itself lol.
Too much slander. No appreciation whatsoever with too high of standards. Disappointing and a waste of time to watch this, ended up skimming through. Obviously play favorites and that's all this video has going for you.
Bestie how do I play favorites with musicccc. Unless ur talking about my one and only love Mitchie M, cuz yeah I'd die for them. Ur allowed to enjoy things without thinking critically, but I prefer not to.
Beat Eater in 1st place, as it should be. Ngl though I was expecting to see Tenshi no Clover ranked a little higher, it’s my favorite MMJ song and is honestly one of my top 5 favorite songs in the game out of both the originals and the covers.
Originally I thought it ranked higher in my list too lol, but I found that there were quite a few I liked more lol. Tenshi no Clover is certainly the song that really got me into MMJ's original stuff though.
For 1:10 (Kuyamu to Katie Mirai) I tend to just listen to Mizuki’s cover 🥲it adds in wayyyyyyyy more emotion in my opinion and makes the song sound better!
Nomad, Jack Pot Sad girl & More jump more 😭lol Lower & Niccori are one of my favorites (although I didn’t like Niccori only for the beginning lol now I love it) Infinitely gray, tondemo wonders, potato ni natteiku, salamander, showtime ruler, ID smile & Beat eater are such amazing bangers, indeed ✊🏼
Not Mirai at 52nd💀 Thats actually one of my fav songs in VBS for Toyas high vocals. There is a lot more of my favourite songs at the bottom but it is really an experience to go through your ranks!
This list is like the complete opposite of my tastes jesus christ, this almost makes me angry to see so many songs I love slandered lmaooo Like personally, I dislike most of the Leo/Need (because the songs are bland) and VBS (because I think Kohane and Akito arevery annoying) songs, while I love the WxS and 25ji songs. So for me, my top one would be Lower because **mwah**, that’s perfection to me.
OMG same! I would have also placed WxS and Nightcord songs at the top. I like VBS songs but Kohane doesn't suit VBS in some of the songs. And yeah Lower is definitely a banger, along with infinitely grey.
I think this video establishes a idea of how commissioned songs can go you know like it may be a hit or miss in that sense then and to further explain what I mean is how music artists may put their own interpretations along with such for the groups for what they are going for. So it may depend on if it will work or not once finished then just like how Vocaloid fans take onto songs messages. All of the commissioned songs have different things about them and I think this video’s commentary on them is really fair one what they are like. It’s interesting to see how fans think and how each producer create something different while in terms for groups it works in a very unique way cause of how many perspectives we can see are given by the producers who write the songs. I think this may have been one of the concepts may be going for and this video really had me think on that
Yeah I agree! It's also interesting to see how the pjsk devs and team interpret the song given as well as the seiyuus, and if the message stays the same or is vastly different from the vocaloid counterpart.
15. Identity was used in collaboration with the ramen promotion (It's actually the first song to release before Salamander and Tokugawa Cup Noodle Kinshirei) which is why it is sometimes forgotten that it's in the game.
Thank you for subbing that video! For some reason my editing software wasn't letting me download the original, so I'm really thankful you made that video!
Sekai is definitely not my favourite song, but I think it's chorus is pretty nice I also like 88's chorus, really satisfying (especially to play on Master)
AN IDOLM@STER AND SEKAI FAN!!! Thats great!!! I'm a little sad that some of the song that i like much be in lower placement but you have very good and consistent opinion of each!
@@lumadoll29 T-T I'm sorry! Most slow MMJ songs aren't really for me, but I do think I like 'If' more than I gave it credit for, just haven't listened to it much yet.
I can't really rank anything cause my decisions change 2 seconds after making them, but if I have to my top songs would probably be: Sekai wa mada hajimatte sura inai, Cinema, Wah Wah World, Idol Shinetai, ID Smile, 1, and Gunjou Sanka. I also like Miracle Paint a lot, but that's just probably me being biased towards WxS songs. I forgot to add Becoming Potatoes, but then again, I mostly stan WxS.
omg saisei is ranked at number 17- this is so unexpected but thank you, i love this song so so much and usually other people ranks this song so low T^T it's okay i respect their opinions but AAAAAA i'm so glad to see saisei so high up
I disagree with the most things in your list but I'm happy that saisei is quite high, I also agree with the top 10, tondemo wonders, keitai renwa, tokugawa cup noodle, and id smile really deserve the high rank!
Finally someone who likes Idol Shin'eitai 😭 I know a lot of people who ranked it low when it's such a fun song for MMJ. Also Beat Eater deserves that place, such a bop.
I feel like they made the bands so specific for a reason. Nightcord is monotone. Wonderland is theatrical. More jump is the stage idol girls. VBS is the badass breakdancing group. Leo is the girl band. They all serve a specific purpose because if you boil the vocaloid songs all down, they fall into at least one of those categories. Nightcord is good for monotone songs that convey emotion through lyrics. Wonderland is for the theatrical songs, like i mentioned before 😂. More jump is for the classic vocaloid songs, the ones that require the classic glow stick audience or else it wouldnt be the same. VBS is for the songs with good breakdowns like GETCHA, bring it on, Machine gun, aka KIRA or Giga songs pretty much 😂😂. You get the point. I tend to not enjoy covers if the songs cross these lines. Like An and kohane's cover of Just Be Friends. Its just bad, lets be honest. Imagine if we had More jump do it. Or Leo. Better yet, Shizuku and Shiho for the memes 😂.
My taste in music is fucking everywhere so it’s hard to find videos like this that I (mostly) agree with, this one probably comes closest to my opinions. I kept excitedly going “OH MY GOD I AGREE SO HARD ON THIS ONE” especially around the top 10-30 LMAO
I'm so happy to see ID Smile in the top 3 :) It's deffinetly my favourite Nightcord song and ever since it released to global I can't stop listening. I love when the members all sing together and I love Mizuki being in the center. Honestly I'm not a big fan of Meiko, I never listen to her songs, but she sounds incredible here! Both her solo and espesially when she's singing together with Mizuki. The 3DMV is so pretty and I like the lyrics too, especially the ,,itai itai no docchi ga?" part 😍
I’m only 4 minutes in and I’m sobbing at some of the placements so far. Rn it’s a mix of “yeah I agree that song is pretty mid” or “what? That’s one of my favorites ;n;”. Either way I respect your opinion. It’s interesting to hear a different view of these songs. Okay finished the video and we agree on a lot towards the end. So we pretty much just have different lower tier songs in their order. Cool video!
I agree to the songs you put pretty low, Except for Mirai and If lol. "If" makes me want to cry on multiple occasions LMAO and Mirai does too. I can agree with the fact that Toya was struggling in that first part.
"sekai" is honestly one of my favorite songs in the game but after watching a few videos like this from various creators it seems that's an unpopular opinion! i don't think kanade, tsukasa, and ichika's vocals are at their prime by any means in that song, but i think the melody is really catchy and the lyrics are touching (and to be honest, prsk as a whole doesn't tend to utilize their voice actors in the best ways possible. just look at the difference between kanade and setsuna yuki from love live, or tsukasa vs misumi ikaruga from a3, or just... akina in general hooo boy). the song is a little generic but being an idol fan already i'm no stranger to loving generic-sounding pop music lol. it seems to be at the bottom of a lot of these ranking lists though, which i find interesting, cus i fell in love with it almost instantly!
me too!! i just love how idk to describe it T^T its so happy and cheerful and inspirational at the same time. heck i even get emotional over the chorus- i just love this song so much
@@idoluv478 It is, and I think the connection is supposed to be how Kanade eats nothing but cup noodles (the dots only connected for me recently on why it's a cup noodle song LMAO)

5:06 I feel like Len fits this song perfectly in terms of vocals 😭😭 Rins original version sounds horrible and for some reason nobody can tune Miku right anymore 💀💀
Naurrr I get their music is supposed to be emotionless, but when they go too far with it, it just becomes really bland and dry T-T. It's not always this way, which is why I'm sure that they can make good music while still keeping their vibe lol.
One thing that I never understood about Sekai is how are they going to make a song that represents the game but it only has 3 of the leaders? Like where are Kohane and Minori 😭
Ok so ignoring the MMJ slander, -Ryuusei No Pulse, and Lower are better in their Vocaloid originals. I haven't listened to the Proseka covers of 88 and Tricolor, but I don't think I'll like them, especially compared to the originals. -I'm pretty sure you don't like Glory Steady Go! because it's Kinoshita, same dude who made Positive Dance Time -Tenshi No Clover is the best MMJ song, I agree. Minori probably made the dance. -1 is just worse Hare Wo Matsu. (I'm an Orangestar fan, thus I am biased)
Omg that's definitely why I don't like Glory Steady Go I had no idea who the producer was lol. I'm a really big fan of Orangestar too, so idk why I didn't like his song here T-T. 88 is definitely not worth, but I would recommend giving Tricolor a shot! Mafuyu and Kanade's vocals suit the song really well, but they don't sound anything like Flowers vocals. To me it's very close to an entirely different song based on how different the emotions are between vocalists. I also do really like the vocaloid version of Lower, as well as the Mizuki solo (of course lmao).
@@idoluv478 Actually listened to both 88 and Tricologe, you're right. 88 desperately needs to cut the fat (Emu, Tsukasa, and possibly Kaito) while Tricologe is a good song in both versions. Maybe I just like Flower's vocals more. Listened to Ryuusei No Pulse, and I stand corrected. Maybe I just like the "Songs where it feels like the vocaloid is confessing their feeling to you" genre, which Len is somehow kinda good at?
you shit on so many songs i love please BHSUIDFJOKHM niigo's songs are really good but in their own ways. i think every group's songs have different reasons they sound the way they do. pitches in songs change as the emotions in the songs do, and albeit sometimes tuning and singing doesn't fit very well, i think there are some exceptions. lower being so... low on the list was probably the most shocking one for me personally. that song conveys such heavy emotions and has a really deep and personal meaning, especially tying into the story that it tells between ena and mizuki
cant get over lower, 1, and tenshi no clover but everything is forgiven bc of keitai renwa, id smile, and beat eater 🤝🤝 either way i love watching you slander songs regardless of whether i like them or not so keep it up

That's okay if you don't like this style of commentary, but it's how I express myself! I go in depth and am explicit about what I dislike to avoid being misunderstood as much as possible :)
i didn't realize that cellphone love story and from tokyo were commissioned songs (this video was what made me realize from tokyo was). was cellphone love story even commissioned for an event or is it just there? is it to compensate for composing the future obviously focusing on mafuyu and kanade much more? what happened there

FINALLY SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME!!! I love beat eater to death but seeing that cover was eh bcuz of akito, honestly ruined the whole thing for me. But what's even more surprising is that no one really pointed it out??? but ppl just have different tastes lol
To be honest, a lot of songs I like are quite low but I'm not gonna complain when I realised how much better some songs are than my own opinion when I listened to them more as I played them
Wow when I saw some of my favourite songs (Cosmospice, Kuyamu to kaite mirai, Jackpot sad girl, more jump more) ranked low, i didnt think i'd agree with the rest of the list. The middle are songs i'll admit ive never listened to but near the top of the list I was pleasantly suprised to see ID smile, Becoming potatoes, Infinitely gray and Keitai Renwa quite high up, or at least for what i expected. A lot of the songs you put low i prefer the Virtual singer versions though, like jackpot sad girl and cosmospice. The sekai versions arent bad i just listened to the Vocaloid version first.

@@everythingz888 ya but imo the shinonomes WAY made up for it. even with miku its gotta be one of my favourite covers
YES
Childish War Shinonome siblings duet when? 😭😭😭
@@thehuman.glowstick it’s nene and tsukasa 😭
I guess you are not the type that looks up the lyrics of the song?
Also, i personally love most L/n and Nightcord songs. Their songs are consistently good.
ikr 😭 i ended up liking a lot of the songs in pjsk even more after reading the lyrics just because of how much i related to them
Nah man this person just has bad taste
@@k.o_nekoThat's just rude.
For me Lower is the best commissioned song out there. Just because I love nulut's electro swing arrangement style.
I KNOW RIGHT!!
@yyu yeah I love the flower version but I kinda wish the drop wasn’t as high pitched so I would have sekai version for the drop part
I prefer the original ver,i don't like the cover, they just trew up in this masterpiece (i know this song before release in game)
I think it's a good song, but nothing stands out to me with the exception of the instrumental which I really like.
dude i personally LOVE cosmospice, i think it’s a perfect song for the chaotic nature that both tsukasa and saki have and they sound so good together in general. i just think it’s a silly fun catchy song and i could sing the chorus all day. nothing like INCREDIBLE but still a good song in my eyes
its racist lmao
@@kirezemitani dude how
@@kirezemitani how is it racist?? did i miss smth ..
Not you saying 88☆ could be "sentimental" 💀
Bruh, 88☆ is a motivation song, the lyrics itself express that is a happy song and not really sad
"Become a Fool and flyaway, it's okay if you remember a little part of it sometimes"
"It's okay if you crave those hopes and dreams"
"I wish that happiness comes to that kind and gentle you"
I feel you dislike Airi’s voice in parts that sound strained but i think thats what adds spark to the song.
Same her voice sounded really nice to me lol
I can definitely see that! I think I just end up feeling really concerned for her seiyuu's voice and am unable to enjoy the song.
Lower at 24 was arguably the most shocking thing here. But seeing Tricolor get more recognition here made me surprisingly happy lmao
I expected to have completely opposite opinions, but ended up having similar placements even if for different reasons!
'i love oster project but i hate christmas songs' is the highlight of the video for me it made me snort so loudly
I think it's obvious they're focusing more on vocals + how it sounds in general in their judging
lmao thats pretentious
people like certain sounds and genres more than others. just because you understand a song doesn't mean you have to like it
Big agree on your top two choices! And your bottom two lol
But there’s one thing i would like to argue, i think that the songs not being “this group”-ish is mainly bc it’s for the composers. If only they could mix the vs instrumentals and sekai vocals then it would elevate the song that much more ;:
For the mafumafu commissions, iirc keitai reiwa was supposed to be the group song but he didnt finish in time so they used kuyamu instead and keitai reiwa was included as a cover song. I read that somewhere hmm and i would have switched the places of saisei and kanade tomosu sora mainly bc i prefer sasanomaly
Ready Steady being overplayed is understandable! From a meta viewpoint, it was short while still giving you a good amount of points for an event, thats usually the reason why people pick it for coop especially if they wanna rank in the early days. Now its all hitorinbo envy and melt OTL
Something I’ve noticed with the WxS songs is that the composers seem to write the song with the members in mind (like Glory Steady Go and Niccori) it’s something that I really love and it really shows that the composers really like WxS!
For aoiro enogu, i think it’s pretty too, but Shizuki and Shiho’s voices are too different to mix well and it kinda gave me whiplash when i first heard it ;;
Also I’m super surprised that you didn’t mention that Magic Number was written and composed by Kent Ito (Toya’s seiyuu), Oster did the arrangement!
Thank you for all of the info! I actually had no idea that Touya's seiyuu made Magic Number, he's a fantastic composer! I also had no idea that Keitai Renwa was supposed to be Nightcord's first commissioned song! I'm kinda of glad we got a Mizuki x Ena version instead, as they have my favorite vocals in the game :)
I recently listened to Tsukuyomi's version of If due to another comment, and I think it's really great!
Personally I love Sekai…the lyrics really spoke to me personally, but it’s alright if others think differently.
i really love sekai too T^T i'm so glad to have found someone who likes it as well. still makes me emotional to this day :>
I was surprised to see Nomad so low as it's genuinely probably my favorite song in the game, but I think more so for the beautiful instrumentals than the cover itself lol.
Nomad, Jack Pot Sad girl & More jump more 😭lol
Lower & Niccori are one of my favorites (although I didn’t like Niccori only for the beginning lol now I love it)
Infinitely gray, tondemo wonders, potato ni natteiku, salamander, showtime ruler, ID smile & Beat eater are such amazing bangers, indeed ✊🏼
Actually
Touya's seiyuu (伊東健人)
Is the song writer of Magic number
Oster just helped for the melody
Yeah someone told me that, that's really cool!
17:11 POTATO NI NATEIKU IS SUCH A BOP OMG
YOU HATE CHRISTMAS MUSIC...who hurt ur soul i started falling in love w oster project because miracle paint gave me christmas music vibes ....
Not Mirai at 52nd💀 Thats actually one of my fav songs in VBS for Toyas high vocals. There is a lot more of my favourite songs at the bottom but it is really an experience to go through your ranks!
'An experience' lmaoo I think that's absolutely the best way to describe it.
POTATO WAS A SEKAI COMMISSION?!?!?!?!? WHAT
HOLD ON WHAT
SINCE WHEN
WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME
This list is like the complete opposite of my tastes jesus christ, this almost makes me angry to see so many songs I love slandered lmaooo
Like personally, I dislike most of the Leo/Need (because the songs are bland) and VBS (because I think Kohane and Akito arevery annoying) songs, while I love the WxS and 25ji songs.
WxS is my favourite
9:32 let me guess, a bad retail job?
9:53 THE TRANSITION THO
15. Identity was used in collaboration with the ramen promotion (It's actually the first song to release before Salamander and Tokugawa Cup Noodle Kinshirei) which is why it is sometimes forgotten that it's in the game.
You used my subtitle video for Salamander, yey! Don't agree with you on everything but I like how you express yourself freely, keep it up.
Thank you for subbing that video! For some reason my editing software wasn't letting me download the original, so I'm really thankful you made that video!
Sekai is definitely not my favourite song, but I think it's chorus is pretty nice
I also like 88's chorus, really satisfying (especially to play on Master)
AN IDOLM@STER AND SEKAI FAN!!!
Thats great!!!
I'm a little sad that some of the song that i like much be in lower placement but you have very good and consistent opinion of each!
some people just have violence in their hearts
I really love Touya's voice in Mirai. First time hearing Mirai I already focused on Touya's voice being amazing.

I feel the same way lol, I look back at my ranking videos from like 2 months ago with shame haha
omg saisei is ranked at number 17- this is so unexpected but thank you, i love this song so so much and usually other people ranks this song so low T^T it's okay i respect their opinions but AAAAAA i'm so glad to see saisei so high up
I disagree with the most things in your list but I'm happy that saisei is quite high, I also agree with the top 10, tondemo wonders, keitai renwa, tokugawa cup noodle, and id smile really deserve the high rank!
this was so infuriating how was cosmospice st- OH MY GOD IS THST WAH WAH WORLD???? 10/10 AMAZING VIDEO BLEW ME AWAY
Omg bestiee, I have literally no criteria for what kind of song I like too, I just go off of vibes lmao
I love your ranking videos, I enjoy watching it!
Thank you!
Cool video!
I agree to the songs you put pretty low,
Except for Mirai and If lol.
"If" makes me want to cry on multiple occasions LMAO and Mirai does too.
I can agree with the fact that Toya was struggling in that first part.
Ryuusei no pulse is my fav tho 😢
Good vid tho i like that you aren't afraid of giving your opinions like that
i loveeee ryuusei no pulse too AAA
anyone knows when salamander will arrive to EN server?
7:00 no,its not done yet.
*It hasn't even started*
We do not share many opinions, I’ve realised from these two videos-
"sekai" is honestly one of my favorite songs in the game but after watching a few videos like this from various creators it seems that's an unpopular opinion! i don't think kanade, tsukasa, and ichika's vocals are at their prime by any means in that song, but i think the melody is really catchy and the lyrics are touching (and to be honest, prsk as a whole doesn't tend to utilize their voice actors in the best ways possible. just look at the difference between kanade and setsuna yuki from love live, or tsukasa vs misumi ikaruga from a3, or just... akina in general hooo boy). the song is a little generic but being an idol fan already i'm no stranger to loving generic-sounding pop music lol. it seems to be at the bottom of a lot of these ranking lists though, which i find interesting, cus i fell in love with it almost instantly!
me too!! i just love how idk to describe it T^T its so happy and cheerful and inspirational at the same time. heck i even get emotional over the chorus- i just love this song so much
I looped Identity many times before I got to know it was a cup noodles collab song lol
WAIT IT'S PART OF THE CUP NOODLE COLLAB??????? HELP
@@idoluv478 It is, and I think the connection is supposed to be how Kanade eats nothing but cup noodles (the dots only connected for me recently on why it's a cup noodle song LMAO)

15:08 omg i love wami's cover as well, i listened to that so much before i played proseka and i didnt know it was a commissioned song
It's nice seeing other people view on music. Cause for me, I tend to like the lyrics more than the music itself, hence why I prefer N25 music more.
5:06 I feel like Len fits this song perfectly in terms of vocals 😭😭 Rins original version sounds horrible and for some reason nobody can tune Miku right anymore 💀💀
bro just missed the entire point of the majority of 25jis music
Naurrr I get their music is supposed to be emotionless, but when they go too far with it, it just becomes really bland and dry T-T. It's not always this way, which is why I'm sure that they can make good music while still keeping their vibe lol.
One thing that I never understood about Sekai is how are they going to make a song that represents the game but it only has 3 of the leaders? Like where are Kohane and Minori 😭
Kohane and Minori got Wah Wah World so maybe that’s why ^^;
I swear beat eater is in everyones 1# when they rank the songs
I absolutely disagree with the placement of every song on this list
good video
Bless ur soul
seeing glory steady go at 48 and tondemo wonders at 9 feels so weird lol. two of my favourite pjsekai songs, but they sorta merge into one in my head
i rlly love cosmospice, glory steady go, jackpot sad girl and 88 🙁 i do agree that Leo/need songs r pretty bland and forgettable
I’m happy to find someone else who doesn’t like Sekai. I tried doing the chart, but I couldn’t even do it due to the lack of engagement.
Ok so ignoring the MMJ slander,
-Ryuusei No Pulse, and Lower are better in their Vocaloid originals. I haven't listened to the Proseka covers of 88 and Tricolor, but I don't think I'll like them, especially compared to the originals.
-I'm pretty sure you don't like Glory Steady Go! because it's Kinoshita, same dude who made Positive Dance Time
-Tenshi No Clover is the best MMJ song, I agree.
The vflower version of lower is one of my favorite songs tbh
you shit on so many songs i love please BHSUIDFJOKHM niigo's songs are really good but in their own ways. i think every group's songs have different reasons they sound the way they do. pitches in songs change as the emotions in the songs do, and albeit sometimes tuning and singing doesn't fit very well, i think there are some exceptions. lower being so... low on the list was probably the most shocking one for me personally. that song conveys such heavy emotions and has a really deep and personal meaning, especially tying into the story that it tells between ena and mizuki
I really do like Lower, but there's just a lot of songs I like a lot more than it. I can understand why people like it so much though!
kinda surprised when you say infinitely gray should be 25ji's debut song. If you peek the lyrics a little you can tell it's /meant/ for Ena.
cant get over lower, 1, and tenshi no clover but everything is forgiven bc of keitai renwa, id smile, and beat eater 🤝🤝
either way i love watching you slander songs regardless of whether i like them or not so keep it up
PEAKY PEAKY RANKING HIGH WE STAN ITLL ALWAYS BE NR 1 IN MY HEART IT ALWAYS PUTS ME IN SUCHA GOOD MMOD OMFG
was genuinely shocked at the placement of 88 since most people tend to love that song
damn, you really criticized some songs! that's what I like tho :) I love your taste of music, and for me, I guess I like songs with catchy chorus.. prosekai is a great game and there should be more fun vids about it... anyways ty for making this vid and delighting my dayy
Thank you for the comment, it's made my day!
i died a little with your nightcord takes
and glory steady go is forgettable?? i think you have short-term memory loss 😭😭
Tbf as an evillious fan I get your points about waltz. I prefer the mv photos to the song, they’re so pretty ! though. Oogh the instrumental
Ranking lists are so fun to watch bc of varying opinions! You have Wah Wah World as #3 but for me it’s my least favorite commission LMAO
The way you commentating for the rank 25 and lower song is too much/too harsh. Its not even something that make sense anymore, again its just your personal opinion.
Than I guess I think everyone have their own opinion but I really dont like the way you commentating it. U do U but try to chill a little maam.
That's okay if you don't like this style of commentary, but it's how I express myself! I go in depth and am explicit about what I dislike to avoid being misunderstood as much as possible :)
the idsmile at #2 made the ranking of all the other n25 songs valid
bro some of the lower ones I cldnt agree with but youre absolutely based w most of the top 10. great vid my guy
i didn't realize that cellphone love story and from tokyo were commissioned songs (this video was what made me realize from tokyo was). was cellphone love story even commissioned for an event or is it just there? is it to compensate for composing the future obviously focusing on mafuyu and kanade much more? what happened there
Man, the vocaloid version of Lower is one of my top vocaloid songs of all time-
I HAD NO IDEA IDENTITY WAS A PROSEKA SONG TOO UNTIL THIS???? DANG. AnD BECOMONG POTATOES TOO AND SALAMANDr AND WAH WAH WORLD.??? jesus and beat eater too
this came out before bug was out so im curious what your ranking would be
*UP FROM TOP 30~20 I NEVER AGREED SO MUCH WITH SOMEONE- I love how you get every single aspect of the song and manages to do such a long essay for them, it made me glued to the video honestly*
Cinema is so great imo i think it fits Akito well and the full version is soo great!
we need an update asap
To be honest, I don't think beat eater would be ranked number 1, akito's voice is a bit weird in that song and you also wrecked some of my fav songs😂 but I respect your ranking
FINALLY SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME!!! I love beat eater to death but seeing that cover was eh bcuz of akito, honestly ruined the whole thing for me. But what's even more surprising is that no one really pointed it out??? but ppl just have different tastes lol
To be honest, a lot of songs I like are quite low but I'm not gonna complain when I realised how much better some songs are than my own opinion when I listened to them more as I played them
Interesting list (we have mostly very similar opinions!) Curious: where would Bug - 25ji fit in your ranking?
Wow when I saw some of my favourite songs (Cosmospice, Kuyamu to kaite mirai, Jackpot sad girl, more jump more) ranked low, i didnt think i'd agree with the rest of the list. The middle are songs i'll admit ive never listened to but near the top of the list I was pleasantly suprised to see ID smile, Becoming potatoes, Infinitely gray and Keitai Renwa quite high up, or at least for what i expected.
A lot of the songs you put low i prefer the Virtual singer versions though, like jackpot sad girl and cosmospice. The sekai versions arent bad i just listened to the Vocaloid version first.
alternate title: gacha cat girl craps on half the good songs in the game for not having enough emotion or using a good vocaloid like Mîkü who needs less songs
