Thank you kind sir, you saved me around 20$ with your professionally edited video. Nowhere on amazon could I find what pre-existing sets were merged to make this one. Out of the exclusives I was only missing 6. Thank you again for this well done video.
Great review. I watch this every so often (especially during October) just to remind myself what's in this set. Bravo. Got mine off eBay for $30 and never regretted it.
Tremendous effort from a true expert collector, cheers Sean. Just to add, the "scream" titles being read out immediately took me back to my level 2 food safety training.
Pretty sweet set. True story, in 2006, my Cousin gave me a Christmas present of a "50 Horror Classics Packs". Only it was from "Echo Bridge". It had pretty much everything (probably except for some) in that 200 movie pack. But I gotta say, "Mill Creek" really went above and beyond with that "Tales of Terror" pack. May have to keep an eye out for that one, the "Chilling Classics" pack, the "Alfred Hitchcock:The Legend Begins" pack, and the "Legends of Horror" pack.
I bought both the horror and drive in 50 movie pack box sets. Have them sitting on my shelf. Been thinking of adding the western movie set as well. Some good and not so good, and some so bad they’re good. Great vid, thanks.
Finally getting this set in my collection this year. Thanks for the massive break-down and cross-over duplication and which other sets are worth getting due to exclusives.
I wanted patiently for this video to come out watching your live streams where you made this video was awsome this was a great video I just need to get legends of horror for its extra movies whoop
The only trouble with these bumper Mill Creek box sets is that the picture quality is not commensurate with the amount of movies on offer. Ah well, never mind.
i love mill Creek .... i have 3 sets ..trail West, tales of terror and Cult Cinema..... it's true there are many bad movies but every time for me it's like a time machine,
Love this review! I got the set a while ago and I'm still going through it. Now , which video did you do the review of the Drive-In Cult Classics 200 movie set?
I counted atleast 16 movies that were featured on mst3k that are on this set The Amazing Transparent Man Attack of The Giant Leeches Beast of Yucca Flats Bloodlust Brain that wouldn't die The Corpse Vanishes Giant Gila Monster Horrors of Spider Island Killer Shrews The Mad Monster Manos hands of fate Night of the Blood Beast The Phantom Creeps The Screaming Skull Swamp Women aka Swamp Diamonds Tormented
I don't know how many people have or still can get the 100 movie sets, but there is some additional duplication on those. I believe those Tod Slaughter movies are all on the 100 horror movie pack as well as the 250 one. Though I imagine not many people are looking for the 250 pack these days!
Oh I know, but it would have gone beyond the scope of this video to cover all those as well. So I stuck to the more common (and easily obtainable) 50 movie sets for that.
Zaranyzerak for sure! Figured you did know, just thought I’d throw it out there :) if you ever needed any milk creek big set research help I’d be happy to be of assistance!
Zaranyzerak, I have a question if that's okay with you. I just got this set a few days ago and was thinking about watching it during family road trips in the car. Would you recommend this set for people who travel?
Sounds like a great idea to me! Especially with the huge variety of movies you'd have to choose from. If you don't like one, you've got another 199! :)
I'm determined to watch all 200 films, however it is a painful road. There are gems, but several of the films on the first 7 discs so far have been brutal. I have been sure to leave notes in the booklet so that whoever winds up with this collection in the future (if anyone) does not have to suffer the same fate.
Do these films come with closed captioning? I want to get this for my girlfriend who is a horror fan. She's hard of hearing, so she likes to watch movies with captions.
The Eerie Midnight Horror Show looks like a Rocky Horror Picture Show knockoff. Funny enough, this movie came out the year before Rocky Horror Picture Show. 1974 is the year of its release and it's an Italian horror flick. I had just Googled the name in amongst of posting my comment.
The original Italian release was in 1974 under the title "Enter the Devil," but it wasn't released in the U.S. until 1978, so yeah the U.S. title of "The Eerie Midnight Horror Show" is a pretty blatant attempt to cash in on Rocky Horror's success at the time. Even though this one isn't even remotely a musical comedy, just a straight up demonic possession horror.
Why not just do that yourself? Why wait for someone else? Plus 200+ chapters would be insane, dude... I think I spent more than enough time on this vid just tracking down all the movie posters.
@zaranyzerak Ur fine nothing wrong with u.Well I mean like chapter in the way of like "All movie in the set" or "Movies that are duplicates for #1".Stuff like that
Of course not, this is a set of movies that are in the public domain. Most later movies from the eras your cite are still under copyright and would cost too much to license fort a set like this. The point of these sets is to present a large number of movies cheaply. And if you're limiting yourself only to movies from a handful of eras, you're really missing out.
Last time i checked this set new was going for around 100$ so time has not been gentle with our wallets, great video Sean
Let's all just take a moment and think how much work it must have been to find all those hundreds of posters and edit them into the video.
Bless you for noticing. :)
awesome posters
Thank you all that work you have done for us.

Cereal At Midnight brought me here
its been 3 years since you posted this video and its still a vital tool i watch back every few months

Recently picked up the Cult Classics 200 pack and love it. Can't wait to get my hands on this one.
I hope they bring these 200 packs back. They are hard to find and expensive now.
Tremendous effort from a true expert collector, cheers Sean. Just to add, the "scream" titles being read out immediately took me back to my level 2 food safety training.
Amazing work finding all those posters!!!.. five stars to your review!!!
Thanks! It was quite the epic quest to track them all down! :)

If you get Legends of Horror, it has everything from the Alfred Hitchcock: The Legend Begins set.

Thanks for this video! You saved me from buying the 2 sets that had 100 movies I already own
Glad I could help!
Finally getting this set in my collection this year. Thanks for the massive break-down and cross-over duplication and which other sets are worth getting due to exclusives.
You're very welcome! It was quite the undertaking to organize, but I'm glad to see so many people finding the video useful. :)
damn good hours of entertainment for that set. Definitely going to grab that in the future!
I wanted patiently for this video to come out watching your live streams where you made this video was awsome this was a great video I just need to get legends of horror for its extra movies whoop
Love those sets have a lot of them as well.
Just stopping by to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!!! 🍁🍗🥫🥧
Pretty spooky
I NEED this box set, but it's bloody expensive nowadays.
Subscribed! Great channel you have!
Just bought one for 36 dollars on mercari
I got the western one amazing deal
Does this western set contain the 1970 movie "Cutter's Trail"?
No
Quick correction: King of The Zombies is in the Horror Classics 50 movie set.
I need to get this set
I own all three of those...
The only trouble with these bumper Mill Creek box sets is that the picture quality is not commensurate with the amount of movies on offer. Ah well, never mind.
I'm guessing most of these are not on blu ray so I'll probably grab this! I see a lot of obscure and rare titles here.
Do you know by any chance how many of them are not on Blu Ray?

just picked up pfor 28 usd on amazon. planning to marathon it... maybe skip the mystery stuff.
I wanted to buy the Western 200 movie set but looks like it is out of print sadly.

I just bought this set, care to name some or all of the brutal ones?
Yes I would like to know as well
@kidd @MP sp far I am close to halfway through the collection. Starting the Sherlock disk soon
@@LSBcomics Keep us updated, I would like to hear your findings hahah
@@kiddmode So far I've found a lot of whiskey helps lmao. Eventually I will comment on here all of the titles I enjoyed
Maybe it’s cause mystery sometimes links to horror.
Do these films come with closed captioning? I want to get this for my girlfriend who is a horror fan. She's hard of hearing, so she likes to watch movies with captions.
Sadly, no. These are technically bargain sets, produced on the cheap so no budget for captions.
@@zaranyzerak that's unfortunate, thanks for letting me know.
i was about to tell you its 30 cents not 3 bucks. then you told me though. so now i dont know what to comment.
That's okay, your confusion works well enough for me. :D

@zaranyzerak I have all 3(just ordered west one).Just need the drive in one now.
this horror movie set sucks none of 80s or 90s and 2000 plus
