The U.K. also had drive-in's and at this very moment there are still dozens of movie drive-in's operative in England. There is a website listing them all but RUclips won't let me put links in the comments here so you have to google for it. Here in the Netherlands the last still operative movie drive-in was a half hour drive from where I live and I saw some All Night Horror Shows there but it was forced to close down in 2002 so there are none now left.
Got this set shortly after picking up the Tales of Terror box set. I also now have about a dozen more Mill Creek multi-movie sets. Thanks to you and Heath over at Cereal At Midnight for turning me on to this great resource!
I'll probably get B-Movie Blast anyway as I got Tales of Terror and then Pure Terror, of which all of the movies in that set are the first 12 discs of ToT. :P
@@zaranyzerak It took 2 months for it to arrive and after close to 4 months of daily watching in order I have just finished watching them all: 20% hidden gems 20% unwatchable (18% boring/used FFWD-button) (2% digital problems) 60% unknown but fun exploitation movies from all genres, years and countries I had great fun watching this box using my beamer for better recreation of the drive-in experience and can recommend it to the more adventurous movie watcher who is already into older exploitation and/or MST3K style movies. (P.S. Side B of Disc 50 contains 3 movies so this box actually has 201 movies.)
Oh yes, that's one of the reasons I've been collecting them. Want to do a whole bunch of videos about them at some point. Still have some gaps to fill though.
One correction - the two Street Fighter movies are not on the Martial Arts 50 movie pack (the release you show is the same one I have). I had to get the Martial Arts Masters 3-disc set from St. Clair Vision to get those.
07:53 For a moment there I thought, "Maybe that's where the cover of Jean-Michel Jarre's "Oxygene" was inspired from." But then I noticed that the movie came out in 1977 and "Oxygene" came out in 1976. Coincidence?
I'm in the U.K., where, as far as I know, Drive-in's didn't exist. This box set really appeals to me.

I am thinking of buying this set.
I’m excited to check these out
My favorite Mill Creek mega-set. Great rundown--much appreciated!
This is such a great & really detailed video, I can't imagine all the preparation you had to do, it certainly is appreciated.
Thanks! It was a lot of work indeed, glad you enjoyed!

Have all 4 now.
I actually want to get that set since I do have a fascination of drive in cinema
Also, I got Iron Fist Frenzy too but that one is getting hard to find. eBay's selections are going for close to $50US. Sheesh.
Thanks a lot for the information, I was worried about to what to buy, I have two dvds of kung fu already. But now I know which DVD set I will buy.
Another great video. I just got this set for my birthday so it’s an awesome coincidence
Thanks, I just ordered the set on e-bay
Enjoy! Lots of hidden gems in this set.

Awesome overview :D
Does this set have any excluive movies that are only in it not other 50 packs?

Fun Fact: This set actually comes with a bonus movie called The Disappearance of Flight 412
I just now finished the whole box and I noticed that too as side B of Disc 50 had 3 movies

Some of those titles sound like adult entertainment movies 😜
Some of the movies listed are of the "video store backroom" variety.
All zones Drive-In Cult Cinema ?
Is Karate Kids America 70's or 80's?
1979
