THe sneak element is a bit realistic in the sense that if you are wearing a full metal armor that cling-clangs about when you walk, you cannot sneak very effectively. You need a "sneakier" outfit for that.

Also if you want to switch the blue estus flask to a normal one talk to Andre the blacksmith he will transform them for you as well as allow you to increase flask number with estus flask shards

3:52 you pressed roll when you had 0 stamina and couldn't roll. The game remembers your inputs and it rolled when your character could physically do it. So you can't just spam attack or roll 100 times and hope for the best, stamina management is a huge thing in Dark Souls games.

He also was guard broken. The game leaves you vulnerable to enemies to punish you for not paying attention to your stamina while hiding behind a shield
I've played almost every souls game for at least 2 hours, I've beaten DS3, Elden Ring, and Dark Souls 1. I can say this is the most consistent roster of bosses in the entire series and what this game really has its forte in. Most area can be sprinted through if they are a pain in the ass or you're a returning veteran who just want to deal with the areas and get to the bosses. It's a real treat watching someone go through these games mostly blind because watching someone overcome a challenge and seeing the steps it takes to get there are always enjoyable to view.

Dont teach him to run through the areas. There’s one thing to run back to the boss after you already cleared an area, but when first going through it you should clear all the enemies. They teach u how the game is supp to be played

Hey, since you've realized that you haven't been reading messages, you should go back to the start of the game and read the controls. Jumping is in the game, you just gotta find it in the tutorial messages.

If you are on playstation using joysticks just walk, walking is your sneak. Also most areas works like this
Light bonfire -> move forward -> find shortcut back to bonfire to skip certain areas -> repeat.
something cool about dark souls 3 is that it has a proper difficulty curve for bosses, witch translates to: oh this is easy? just you wait...
also this game has ashes of war, you should 2hand more often
The proper difficulty curve start from midgame ( from pontiff) and later , before that the bosses difficulty isn't very consistent

the elevator was a short cut to the boss and bonfire a lot of them have one like that
If you kill the lady in the room(the one that give you a banner), you can unlock a bonfire

After playin DS3 for over 600 hours imma say i find it hilarious, knowing that you are Elden ring before alot

these 2 episodes were great! cant wait for the next one :D so a little tip. if you use a ember, that is what gives you the little hp boost and it lets you see summon signs. if im not mistaken i believe you can summon someone for that fight. i think there is one after the fat spinney guy and one by the fog wall.

This game is known for the best bossfights in the entire series
Try goin for a quality build aka a strength/dex build for fun; personally, however, I enjoy strength builds for the large damage numbers and stagger they can give.
Finally, this game is kinda confusing at points, so take your time to go through areas to get the non goofy ass experience
Edit: This game can be done with minimal use of items, so don't shit yourself on how many items it gives you my g

Comparing a tutorial boss' difficulty to Godskin duo is an interesting choice for sure. But I do admit,if you take Margit as a tutorial boss then yes,Gundyr doesn't stand a chance.

I feel that normal enemies in ER are usually so much easier than in DS3 lol I felt the knights of lothric were a nightmare but knights(not crucible or those super op guys) are way easier in ER
You had access to a quick bonfire. U unlock the shortcut back to the original bonfire.
Stealth is walking slowly while not being directly in front of the enemy.
Jumping is running and tapping the button again while running.
Nameless king is not dlc he's a secret optional boss

just a tip, like all other souls games, you can fight one enemy at a time, for example the 3 knights close to the boss fog. Saying this because honestly, ds3 has the least amount of unfair encounters and you said ''are there enemies really necessary?''. Cool video :)
Bloodborne for world, DS3 for boss rush, Elden Ring for exploration and builds.
If no one has to told you how to jump yet it’s run and press down on the move button

A little tip, that helped me alot:
Stop using your shield, it is useless in DS3 imo. Equip your weapon with both hands and put your stats into health, endurance and strength.
Shields are def not useless. And some weapon 1H are quicker and better in a lot of scenarios (for ex like a lot of straight swords) But it does depend on your play style too. And if you do two hand, at least use a shield on your back that has a passive effect (like grass crest)
You died to the knight in the start, even using a shield, more times than i died to malenia in Elden Ring, that says something about difficulty.
Think none of the bosses of Elden Ring took me more than 4 tries.

Another tip: use embers to see nod summons and other summon signs and also to increase max health while active
Things you will find out in every souls game. The camera is the main boss in every souls game enemies can see and hit through buildings the game purposely keeps 1HP on alot of enemies even if you think 100% they are one shot away I feel like there is a hidden mechanic that nobody knows about or even thinks about that randomly makes a kill hit not kill how I know this is its happened to me many times in every game so it can't just be a bug or anything like that.
Also enemies and bosses have weaknesses and Resistances its like that in every game and I don't know why players don't use this knowledge more

3:28 so funny you say that. I haven't played Elden Ring yet but from my experience with Demons Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, Dark Souls 3 is by far the easiest time I've had
“The sneak element in this game is atrocious” my DUDE you’re wearing FULL plate armour lol. Also sneaking (as a button press function) is only pretty new to soulslikes lol. In Sekiro you’re literally a samurai/ninja/ronin… in Elden ring I can’t remember if it’s stat based but it doesn’t necessarily make sense but ER is wacky and meant to be more accessible.
Best training u can get is watching speed runners 😂

One of the best early game weapons in my opinion is the 'Astora straight sword '......
Defeat the spear knight below that black puss monster.There will be a hidden path to your right in that corridor. Go to the end of it, roll through some creats and drop down. Chest will be right next to you...
You gonna need 12 faith to use it properly.
Also use your weapon skill broh
Depends on your build. No need to level faith for someone going pure melee, wasted points. Plus knights start with long sword which is already top tier weapon.
Elden Ring Pro... so that was a lie
As a soulsbourne vet , I honestly think elden ring is on the easier side of the list down with dark souls 1. Sekiro and ds3 are the harder ones IMO

to jump you hold the dodge button witch is B on xbos or O on ps4 controller to run then quickly double tap it to jump you can only hop forward not really upward.

All that shit you feel like elden ring does better is because these games exist. The developers learn from it.
You should roll more instead of blocking, later in the game you will lose all of your stamina in like 2 hits, leaving you extremely vulnerable
Unpopular opinion. I played dark souls 2 before ds 3 came out, then finished ds 3. Even after finishing ds 1 and elden ring, I still think ds 3 is the single best fromsoft game ever.

Something I noticed that you do that is really weird, is that while fighting an enemy when you heal you tend to roll towards them for some reason instead of away.
Dark souls 3 is definitely harder than elden ring even a friend of mine whose betten both games on NewGame+ has said elden ring is easier

11:37 also, in the first areas of the game, you barely need to worry about levelling up and I noticed you weren't taking the shortcut (the one with the elevator)
