Matt I know we need a wide receiver but I sure would love two big defensive tackles that can rush in the first three rounds so offenses can't just focus on our outside linebackers.
We need a Barry Foster. So, if you ask me, Quinshon Judkins would fit the archtype. But the Steelers have also had speed backs like Erric Peagram, Richard Huntley and Willie Parker...and don't forget Amos Zeroue!
Matt, If I was a first year head couch of a football team at any level, I’d NEED you by my side to help make decisions. I’ve always respected your insights and often wonder why you aren’t involved in scouting/coaching for a team? I have zero insight into NFL “goings-on”, but I’m sure every team has an analytical team that can derive the same stats. Would it be fair to assume that certain teams employ analysts who tend to provide data that favors stats that go along with their current coaching philosophy??
If I was Jaylen Warren I would've definitely headed for a different team in free agency. You know Tomlin says he has no problem with Warren being the featured back then gives Najee 20 touches to Warrens 4-6. And as Najee breaks one here and there to only be ran down from behind by the linebackers I sit and can't help but to think man Warren might be taken that to the house or at least made it a giant chunk play and this happened several times a year and sometimes a few times a game. I just feel like most times even when Warren looked to be feeling it and making explosive plays they'd rotate him right back out for Najee. I don't get it
Warren is a Restricted free , he basically is Steelers property , if he signs an offer sheet the Steelers have the right of first refusal , if they don't want to match an offer sheet they will get some sort of draft compensation
If you want to base your offense on the running game, then why be afraid of getting a top level RB early in the draft? If it is just going to be a compliment because you already have a franchise QB and weapons at WR, then yeah, get a RB later in the draft. But with Arthur Smith as OC, who has already established that his offense is super run heavy, and your QB is most likely going to be Justin Fields who contributes to that running game himself, then you better prioritize that RB position. If they are not going to go get a big time RB in free agency, then they better get the best possible RB they can get in the draft. I don't think the Lions are upset that they picked Gibbs in the 1st or the Falcons getting Bijan Ribinson in the 1st. And the Eagles going and getting Barkley in free agency worked out really well in their run heavy offense. If you want to be run heavy, GO GET THE BEST RB YOU CAN GET!! Don't just hope you can find one in the 3rd or 4th, or hit a lottery in the 7th. And yes, I know the Eagles and Lions have elite O-Lines that make those RB's job a lot easier. But the Steelers have invested in the O-Line in the 1st round the last 2 years. They need the best O-Line Coach they can find as well. I'm just so damn frustrated with this team. And I'm so sick of the "Well the Steelers just don't do that kind of stuff." When are we going to evolve with the times and start doing whatever it takes to win? Not just doing the Steelers usual bullshit. Obviously that hasn't been working for almost a DECADE!!🤦♂️ I'm just not going to expect them to win until I see they actually want to win, instead of holding these outdated traditions that seem to be more important for some reason.
It won't matter who is in the backfield if they're not used properly. More slow developing sweeps and pitches to the outside for a gain of one. ....ugh
Here we go!

They need a big punishment Back like Jerome Bettis….Chris Fuamatu-Maʻafala….Bam Morris…. To punish every NFL defense…And a shifty fast Back…

I think Judkins will be gone by steelers pick
The Steelers will regret letting Najee Harris walk away. Warren will not be able to carry Najee's load.
Yeah a no vision RB who's sturdy will be hard to replace in the draft and FA
Work ethic & availability are highly underrated.
@@timking-iy9jw yep and being bottom of the league efficiency is not worth it

Tomlin's been doing stuff like that for generations. Benching better players for those who have pedigree or some bs.
Warren is a Restricted free , he basically is Steelers property , if he signs an offer sheet the Steelers have the right of first refusal , if they don't want to match an offer sheet they will get some sort of draft compensation
The makeup they dream they are that coming from a 1974 Steelers fan. The dream of who they are hasn't been who they are for about a decade.
Tomlin won't want Mccarthy because he won't be able to control him like the suuupppeerr great coaching he hires

Goodbye to Najee never fumbling. Good riddance to a slow running back who tries to run outside, misses holes, and the sideways jump at the line.
We're doomed until Tomlin is gone.
