Spottedleaf's Heart IS canon and not accepting it is not very mature in my opinion. Thanks to this MAP, I hope people start to accept that Spotted X Thistle IS real, even though we don't like it because it's an abusive relationship involving child manipulation
This map has stolen my heart and I think I need to call the cops because it won’t give it back. -Also flower symbolism can marry me and adopt my child-
I would love a book or short story written by the Erins from the point of view of some of these mates of really evil characters. Like what did Snowfur see in Thistleclaw, how did he treat her? What about Goldenflower and Tigerclaw? That would be really interesting and maybe show that people arent evil through and through, they have different sides.
Definitely, though we saw some in the TigerStar and Sasha ones. In that we saw that TigerStar basically only told his point of view, like he was in the good and he was only doing a favor for the clans. And Sasha likes his good looks too, lol.
I first freaked out when my part didn't came, but then I noticed that you swap them😂 That's actually really good thinking cause now the parts flow better. This was an awesome map, everyone did a amazing job. I'm really glad to be part of this project ❤❤❤❤❤
This map is so beautiful, and i love the symbolism. And honestly, I agree with what you said in your explanation video, how thistleclaw went down a dark path after snowfur died, honestly I feel like that's kinda what happened because in the books he clearly had a lot of devotion towards her, but it just crumbled when she left. and bluefur hating him probably didnt help. I love all the symbolism with the flowers and it spreading like an infection almost, its amazing~
Thistleclaw literally blaming Bluefur for Snowfur's death might've not helped their already tense relationship... Can't exactly blame her for not liking him

Dang, this was really well done! I love flower trail theme and script oml :'00 it properly focuses on Thistle and Snow's relationship before Snow passed, and then shows how it changes thistle. The song getting louder as the battles become more vicious and red. Really well done map with so many talented animators in it!
I must confess that though I did see this MAP floating around I never put much stock in it. I was unsettled by the song, but the unsettling nature of the song really adds to the completed project as a whole. The final project is beautiful, and though I remain unsettled it adds to the disturbing nature of Thistleclaw and how their relationship was based on the only person Thistleclaw had pure intentions towards (at least, based upon my interpretation of the novel[s].)
I love the detail of Thistle singing alongside Snow because he loved her the same as she did him, but Spotted was singing alone because he didn't truly love her/was too busy being evil to love her (I've never read Spotted's novella so I can't and wont share my opinion about their relationship in detail as not to cause controversy)

OH MY GOSHHHHHH, THIS TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER THAN I EXPECTED!!! And I just want to say, THANK YOU for including Spottedpaw in it, because I believe she was a big part of the story, and I don't see many people add her and Thistleclaw's relationship in their MAPs or PMVs! Also, the way you made the cats fighting and killing Thistleclaw at the end black silhouettes was a great touch, since all we knew was he died in some sort of fight, and we never knew which cats killed him. The amount of thought put into this MAP is amazing, to say the least! Outstanding work, Northflower and everyone else!
One wasted opportunity I saw is Thistle leaving oleanders into Whitekit's fur, then Bluefur takes him and quickly pulls them off, like Whitekit was able to escape it how Spottedleaf ran from it
OK WOW. This MAP turned out gorgeously. The symbolism was fascinating and the tone that each animator set was immersive and atmospheric. The whole thing had a slightly offbeat vibe that left questions in my mind. I love how this turned out, and I'm still disappointing that I didn't get a part, but hey, maybe another time.
I seriously appreciate that it’s a mother mother song, like other musicians, they have meanings in their songs, however, they’re more powerful than you originally think. Gorgeous map, to all the artists who worked on this, spectacular work!
OMG I FREAKIN' LOVE FLOWER SYMBOLISM AQZXLAKASALA ;V; Honestly, the only one I can think of off the top of my head that comes close to the aesthetic of this MAP is Allikat's Jeanne de Arc, and yet, this one is so unique for it's storyline. I'm a huge fan of Mother Mother, and this song in particular always resonated with me for its themes of romance, dependence, and toxicity, and the effort you put in to imbue those themes in the script really shows! And of course, the animators all went above and beyond!!! :D Congratulations on finishing this; I'll definitely have to check out the channels of all these talented artists!

the ending to this still gets me.. i always feel hollow after watching it. i definitely agree with the HC that thistle was still breathing until she crushed the flower, and it makes the ending all the more closing.

The symbolism is gorgeous. I don't even like Thistleclaw, but I could feel a very pronounced sense of loss and longing between them. Snowfur had to come to terms that she and Thistleclaw wouldn't be together in StarClan, and the scene at the very end portrayed her probable pain and maybe even bitterness. Well done!!

so some kind of a battle is happening. snowfalls mother dies. thistle claw comes to comfort her. they become friends. they play a bit. they soon become besties!!! after running into a road snowfall dies. thistle claw is super sad, so he becomes evil. Snowfall sees this . spotted leaf watches too. she sings the same ting snowfall does as she realizes that he is evil, and runs away. after he kills someone. snowfalls like OMMGGG WHAT THE HECK thistle claw dies. snowfall screams. she knows that he will join her in star clan. but he actually dies alone. ps... I'm surprised that Spottedleaf's Heart was acknowledged in this. Especially with how much everyone wants to forget it.

If I remember correctly she didn't like him at the start because he was prideful and talked too much. It started as more of a annoyance.

in my opinion, a good MAP is one where you can understand what's going on without needing an explanation. I consider this one of them.
All the animators for this map did excellent! Watching these inspire me to get better at animation and one day get my animations in a map.

The symbolism is gorgeous. I don't even like Thistleclaw, but I could feel a very pronounced sense of loss and longing between them. Snowfur had to come to terms that she and Thistleclaw wouldn't be together in StarClan, and the scene at the very end portrayed her probable pain and maybe even bitterness. Well done!!

Ok this was a great map, but the outro song made me cry-
It's from The Walking Dead Game and all the memories of me playing it came flooding back-
I absolutely LOVE how their relationship was portrayed in this, I was excited for the end result ever since the casting call was posted, haha. So many styles and they all come together so well!

so some kind of a battle is happening. snowfalls mother dies. thistle claw comes to comfort her. they become friends. they play a bit. they soon become besties!!! after running into a road snowfall dies. thistle claw is super sad, so he becomes evil. Snowfall sees this . spotted leaf watches too. she sings the same ting snowfall does as she realizes that he is evil, and runs away. after he kills someone. snowfalls like OMMGGG WHAT THE HECK thistle claw dies. snowfall screams. she knows that he will join her in star clan. but he actually dies alone. ps... "snowfall is really snowfur, but google spell checker is a flea brain.)
