I forgot to say if you wire them to the factory marker lights, they will only be on when the headlights are on. You can wire it to the factory fuse box if you want them always on.
Thanks Tyler. I really like how organized and clear you are with your videos. Also your music is not loud or overpowering. Makes it very easy to follow. Thanks for the great videos and info and I hope your channel grows a lot. You are doing a really good job!
Thank you so much for all your support!
Good job, I like the lights but don't like the wiring over the top of the grille. I would want to hide the wires if I did it on mine.
It’s a nice job and looks like a good kit but i prefer waterproof wire connectors because corrosion is only months away especially if you’re in the rust belt states
Hello, excellent video, I didn't know there was an intake for
the bus, where did you get it
Excellent! Did the same wiring routing on my mav.
great vid......easy to follow and the lights also look great. For me thats a lot of extra wiring jumbled up in my vehicle so i would prefer......and dont kill me on this......but maybe a battery operated led light system w no wires at all. Yep.....call be crazy. I have battery operated LED's under my cabinets in my kitchen......why not in my truck?
I would suggest changing up how you wired it to the marker light. Clip out what you have and use a heat shrink Y style butt connector. This will stop water intrusion and in turn protect from corrosion in the future. Add more heat shrink for even better protection. Cost for all that is quite minimal, maybe 5 bucks. Nice install though. Looks simple
I think I will properly wire it soon. I've just been lazy😅
great job man! these look awesome I want them on my XLT Maverick too! In the other hand I am not a fan of those splice connectors, I will look to see if I can figure out a way to split the factory OEM connector socket w/o messing the OEM cable jacketing...
How did you know what was positive and what was negative?
Thanks bro for the video
Did you have to strip the factory wire from the marker light?
No, the splice connector does all the work. When you crimp the metal on the connector, it cuts both wires insulation without severing the conductor... so the metal pieces works as a bridge between the factory wires and the grill lights
@@deserttrek awesome! Thank you for getting back to me. Great video!
Did those adhesive hook you used has no issue????
No issues at all with the strips. Now, I have had issues with the lights. All three of the lights had dead LEDs within 5 months of installation. I'll be making a video on that in a couple weeks.
@@deserttrek I will be waiting for that video. Wanna know why those lights had dead LED’s.

Have you seen these light with LEDs that match the hedlight color?
I have not seen lights like these that are white lights, but I have seen some grill light bars that might fit your needs
Looks like a real hack job. Congrats I guess
But it’s not a raptor.
Because everyone has $100,000 in couch change laying around
