It's fun to watch Adam make Drew squirm and refuse to answer a question about Kapernick.
In Late 1990s America, a lot of teens and older kids looked at Adam and Drew as the "cool dads" (even before they were dads) of Radio/MTV (back when radio was a big deal and MTV was a REALLY big deal). By early 2000s when Internet had become mainstream, I was still downloading Loveline episodes from Kazaa or some other early free p2p service.

I swear, not exaggerating but for what seemed like 3 years I kept hearing something about a black woman or 'racism against a black royal' and never knew what they were talking about. My old auntie watches the Royals and I'd see a wedding or something and later something about a black woman? Finally, years later I figure out, Meghan Markle was the "black woman". then i think I must be mixing up people but low and behold, yes, they are saying she is black, here's the photos or videos. wow there is a low threshold for being 'Black'. I guess, ya maybe I would think she was half Portuguese or something? She has dark brown eyes.I dunno, Italian maybe? She did get a solid tan in a Californian summer but Blondy McSweden surfers can get that dark too.

Yes, the 70s definitely had an androgynous aesthetic in terms of hair. Men and women could be indistinguishable from the back (see David Cassidy). By the way Adam, David Cassidy’s hairstyle was called a “shag”. I notice you discuss it at length on A&D. The shag was the most popular hairstyle of the early/mid 70s. I had one as a young child circa 1974.

I think 70s hair probably caused the glam movement to happen when it did. So many dudes already had the long, pretty hair, the ones in bands probably had their stripper girlfriends do their hair, then they'd get cute and put makeup on them for fun and something clicked. By the 80s it was full lipstick and mascara and men wearing lingerie.
