- Jim Norton and his wife Nikki talk about their marriage and how Jim’s family reacted after finding out Nikki is trans. Nikki talks about having trouble immigrating to the United States and the two share their philosophies on trans culture and navigating the various reactions to their relationship. Adam also reminisces about meeting Jim’s parents.

I have to say, when the interview started with Perry, I got the feeling it was going to be a little stunted. After he seemed to get comfortable, the story just never stopped. I can't wait to see him back on the show.

People forget that Adam was in the music scene due to KROCK and MTV, so he's been around his fairshare of big names. Jane's Addiction was great, along with Porno For Pyros.
Jane’s is one of the top ten. Pyros may be one of the worst bands ever.

It happens. We had a kid in our gym class in high school that was a freak. He was no more than 5, 8” tall, maybe 125lbs soaking wet. Yet he could out bench the football players. Could easily bench over 300lbs.

The Scandinavians understand the concept of stoicism. Being happy means that you don't have to put on a big show for a bunch of strangers to show that you are happy. I have a story about Perry and I wont share it because it’s so long lol. I will say this he has a heart of gold. He really does love people. I’m so glad Adam had him on.
Normally I don’t listen to the non comedy, non politics guests. Perry was fascinating and amusing and weird. Would watch another hour.

I’m glad Jim didn’t pressure Nikki to get surgery.
The surgeries for trans people are absolutely brutal and filled with complications. Never ending risks of infection and necrosis.
Like any surgery, you hear the most about the ones that don’t go well. My wife had bottom surgery and there were no issues or complications after recovery.
