I had the pleasure to meet Lisa on Monday evening at her pop up shop (in an unexpected way for me, long story). What a beautiful soul this lovely woman is. It amazed me how she took her time to talk to everyone, take pictures, sign books always keeping an smile and a lovely and approachable attitude, she always make you feel at ease. It’s hard to believe how such a big person can be so humble and down to earth. She even took time to talk to my husband who also admires her for the professional work she did at her historical series on BBC that he truly enjoyed. And her staff is equally lovely, they listen to your concerns and questions and treat you with respect. It will be an unforgettable experience for me. Thank you Lisa ❤️
Gosh, I think she was the FIRST beauty tutorial I watched. So wonderful AND genuine. I consider her a historian too. And friends with Nick Cave's wife? C'mon. Doesn't get better. After prob. thousands of tutorials she is the best...and Beau seems really genuine too. Love how they treat models as human and not androids. Kudos to both. And a stupid boast...have the og velvet lipsticks. Lol
I remember asking him via Twitter (when IG didn't exist) about the technique in one amazing green smokey eye he did on Kristen ages ago and he answered me, which I thought was the absolute coolest thing. If you see this Beau, thank you so much!
There is something about watching and listening to a makeup artist do someone's makeup application - it's so relaxing, calming and zen. One of the reasons I love Lisa's channel :-)
I met Beau many years ago when we both worked at makeup counters at The Bay in Calgary! He was so passionate about makeup then and it's amazing to see where his passion has taken him.
You had me at Kristen Stewart, her make up is always so beautiful. Such a joy to see Beau's techniques and he's a wonderful photographer. Love when you bring on guests!
OMG! This is such a dream come true moment for me! Seriously, Beau's looks on Kristen are a never-ending inspiration for me (fueling a never-ending Kstew looks Pinterest board). Thank you to Lisa for bringing him onto your channel and a huge thank you to Beau for sharing your knowledge! Love you guys!
Thank you for this tutorial and for not editing all the process, this is pure gold! having the oportunity to see that he actually took that time to blend and correct, etc this is something that is not normally shown in this kind of "tutorials".
Masterclass indeed! Beau is fiercely talented, and you are right Lisa, he really does have an eye for colors! No wonder Kristen looks so great all the time, it must be a joy to work with her eye color and bone structure, it really lends itself to creativity.
So happy to see someone using their middle fingers to apply eye cream and concealer. For most of my life I have heard people - loudly - proclaim that only ring fingers will do, because they're the weakest fingers. Why wouldn't I be offended by people assuming I cannot control the pressure of my own fingertips?
Thank you! Kristen Stewart's eye makeup is always unbelievable. The smokey eyes (in various colors) on her are always perfection. I probably can't do this on myself, but I sincerely appreciate the tutorial! I just want to understand the magic.
His talent is clear to see but also what a lovely guy 💓 Was mesmerized from start to finish (also huge Kristin Stewart fan think she’s the coolest girl on the planet for so many years !)
It always fascinates me when a makeup artist is able to do one complete eye, then repeat exactly the same steps on the other eye. (I have to do each step on both eyes.) I loved watching how this transformed her eye! The steps and rationale for them were also explained really well.
Oh, Lisa, what a treat!!! This is what an artist is. Thank you so much for bringing him and Elle to us. I am going to watch this again. The way he takes his time to blend and then analyze the blending and the balance of colors/shades/contrasts is simply perfect. The way he applied the contour was genius. To top it off, I too own 50 of that Real Techniques brush!! Not only is he extremely talented, but also very relatable. The color he chose for her lids brought out her mesmerizing natural eye color in the most flattering way. I will stop, or else I will be writing a book here!! 🥰
That was mesmerising. Not just the beautiful artistic makeup and gentle model, but also the respect that Beau has for his model and her canvas. I received a lot of inpsitarion and motivation. Thank you, Lisa. Love from sunny Sydney, Australia.
I could watch him work all day! Fascinating and informative. It’s nice to still learn new stuff at my age! I love Beau’s manner and how he interacts with the model. So considerate and respectful.
Amazingly talented artist!!Thank you Lisa for bringing him and sharing with us.Usually people from the same profession don’t admire or acknowledge someone else’s work so kindly and gracefully as u did Lisa😍
This was such a joy to watch - I found Beau’s makeup techniques both enlightening and relatable. Stunning look, thank you Beau and Lisa for this beautiful video ♥️
Omg!!! Beau Nelson had a series of videos back in like 2009 that I absolutely LOVED watching when I first found the beauty community on here!! What a throwback moment!! I actually had just searched for them again earlier this year and, thankfully, found them 😊
Absolutely stunning model! Even before any makeup was applied. Kristen Stewart's light green eyes are gorgeous with purple colors. Excellent look Beau.
Oh wow, how stunning does she look! The eyes! It's like a perfume or makeup ad at the end. I always loved Kristin Stewarts makeup at events and am excited to have been shown how it's done!
I also like she made expressions at what he said and didn’t sit like a rock! I get that they often can’t cause it’s not about them, but it was fun seeing her responses
I appreciate that Beau took time to share with us his process for this look. It's such a nice, natural process. I don't do much makeup on myself, but I definitely will try that pre-makeup massage anyway. That looks so relaxing!
Omg I used to be so obsessed with Kristen and her looks (still am!). So excited to see this....it’s a throwback to all the times I would google “kristen stewart makeup tutorial” a decade ago lol
I love guest makeup artists! It's so helpful and interesting to see other artists, especially ones with the Lisa Eldridge stamp of approval so you know they're 👌
Amazing make up, this is what makes an "artist", notice how subtle this all is, so little products, colours are so translucent, no terrible baking/contouring/drag kind of stuff. Lisa has the same kind of lightness in her hand, it seems like they use feathers not brushes and the effect is stunning.
Gorgeous look from a very talented artist! Thankyou for sharing! I also had the pleasure of visiting your store in Covent Garden a couple of weeks ago and I was so thrilled. I’m from Australia on holidays and being able to see your store in person, chat with your lovely staff and buy some gorgeous liquid eyeshadows has been such a highlight for me. I’m still here and I might have to pop back in and snag the last liquid lurex that I don’t have yet… Happy, happy, holidays and congratulations on the success of your store and brand overall this year. As a long-term fan, this has clearly been such a labour of love for you and it’s wonderful to see. X
I'm pretty positive he was one of the very few guys on Makeup Alley back in the days. He was gorgeous, talented, sweet, funny and kind. No wonder he made it this far! 🥰
On top of the great work by the makeup artist, Elle does a great job showing the makeup from different angles as it develops, and the production is beautiful and so easy to see and understand. Thank you everyone for such helpful videos!
I’m in awe, I love watching professional MUAs work, it’s magic! Those MUFE Aqua liners are no joke! I’m speechless at how well he was able to blend and smudge them out, the tip for mixing with cream shadows is genius!
I love these collabs! Is interesting also see other MUA and their approach to makeup. Lisa it would be amazing if you can also invite Jo Baker who is amazingly creative, shows makeup in such a different way and she loves your products!!!
This is wonderful! About a year ago I quit using powders altogether because they never look right on my dry skin. Thank you for sharing these techniques. It was time for a skill upgrade.
i can't remember the last time i learned so so many amazing tips and exciting product recs from a YT beauty vid! thank you for introducing us to Beau, Lisa!! such a complex and beautiful eye look... i re-watched a couple of times to fully wrap my head around, and feel inspired to try on myself soon! makeup artistry at its finest... thank you Lisa and Beau for sharing and making accessible to all of us!!
This is awesome! I’ve always loved Kristen’s makeup. The natural looking skin with a bold eye look that he does on her looks so beautiful. I can’t wait to try this look! Thank you Beau! Thank you Lisa!
This look is STUNNING!!! I'm almost at a loss for words even. The blending on the eyes is so spectacular it's almost 3 dimensional. I love to do makeup on myself and friends/family but if I were wanting to be a MUA I'd be studying this quite intently.
I recently had my make up done by a make up artist who worked with Lisa. She said she was incredibly kind, sweet, professional and lovely to work with.
@@LisaEldridge oh Lisa, been using your original trio of lipsticks in the past days. I'm sad I can't splurge on your new lip shades and products. One day, one day, I will get all the ones i'm eyeing. 🥰
Before covid I used to be really scared of colors and bold eye-makeup, strictly making the lips be the centre of the attention. After the pandemic happened and the lower parts of our faces are concealed with masks I felt like my punch was taken away from me so I started to experiment and now I love colorful, sparkly eye-makeup and whenever I put it on my face I feel like I'm ready to just own the world. Will definitely try this out next time I'm going out
This melting violet liner mixed with chocolate brown base on the lids is SO CLEVER! I have greeny blue eyes but I won’t look like this little dolly 😅 love it 😍 thanks for your videos.

Her brand team are also exceptional which is a reflection of her class dignity and grace! A legend
Fantastic!! I loved that series too 💖💖💖

yeah l almost fell asleep .its just so soothing .
Same. I was so disappointed it wasn’t Lisa doing this look because I love listening to her, but he was great too.

The pros take a great deal of time blending and layering. It is such a joy to watch and learn, and thanks to Lisa for highlighting their work.
I love you when bring guest artists in Lisa! It’s so interesting to see how different creatives work. 💞
So glad you enjoyed it Xx

Thanks for watching!
I love that he complimented her skin and she looked so pleased 😊. Very sweet
Smokey eye makeup is extremely gorgeous on Kristen because she has such stunning green eyes and it just makes them pop

So special! And so generous to have him on. Really enjoyed all of it. And you looked just lovely at the start, bright and fresh. Ty for this treat!
Thank you so much! Xx
I can't help but miss the way Lisa connects with her models - she treats ppl like individuals, that's what makes the difference!
I think that the ring finger is the best for woman and the middle for men in terms of pressure
Yes! Like Mary Greenwell. Appreciate touching the face like a human.
YES! Finally. The ring finger is not the ‘gentlest’; it’s the most out of control. 😂
Thank you! Kristen Stewart's eye makeup is always unbelievable. The smokey eyes (in various colors) on her are always perfection. I probably can't do this on myself, but I sincerely appreciate the tutorial! I just want to understand the magic.

That’s true. But i also like being symmetrical so that’s also why i do each step together
Mesmerized by your make up in this intro 😍😍
Bianca Liquid Lurex ;) xxx
hopefully we get a tutorial on it !! the lip color is amazing & i love the eyes !!
