My Nikon Z6iii Setup Guide Is done! It covers way more than the video series and I've actually changed a few things since shooting the video, so lots of new stuff too. Check it out at the link below: bcgwebstore.com/product/the-ultimate-nikon-z6iii-setup-shooting-guide-for-wildlife-photography/
This series is perfect for the wildlife photographer who’s finally making the switch over to Nikon mirrorless. Great tip on setting the DX Crop warning! I’ve made that very mistake myself of being unaware I was still in DX crop mode. Looking forward to videos 3 and 4!
Thanks for putting these together so quickly, Steve! I have a Z8 so I'm used to most of these settings. This comment relates more to Part 1 of 4 but I much prefer the U1/U2/U3 setup versus Banks. Looking forward to setting these up when my Z6III arrives.
Something I found pretty early on is if you're using a DX lens (Adapted F mount or Z) it will only shoot DX whether FX is chosen or not, so I recommend not to use any DX lens on the Z6iii. My DX was for 24mp D7200 so I'm only getting 10mp using this lens on the Z6iii - guess I have an excuse to upgrade my glass, too
Bonjour, un livre que malheureusement ne sera pas en français alors peut-être une vidéo pour la photo animalière avec plus de détail ? Dans tous les cas merci et bravo pour l'ensemble de vos vidéos.
Hi Steve, Whenever I press the Menu button, i feel the camera vibrate and make some sounds like VR motor or something, Is this normal? How do I stop it? Thanks Vidya

I just got this camera and went right to these videos before even shooting a photo. These are great.
Thanks!

Im going to get your set up guide before the camera...I have all the other guides and books... all great guides as I know this one will be too.
Another great video.
Thanks a lot. i was facing issues with the shutter speed, and it turns out you explained it here.
I've been following on my Z9 - many interesting new menu options on the Z6iii that'll hopefully make it to a Z9 firmware upgrade

It’s the VR motor engage and disengaging. Its normal.
I’ll wait for the cats, dogs, and gazelle detection mode
