My skull & co finally arrived. I think another plus is that if you want to travel with less bulk but still have some slight grips and protect your switch you can use the smaller grips and fit it into a pretty slim case and keep it 'lite'

Thanks so much for making the comparison video (I was one of the people who requested it) :) It did not disappoint! It kind of confirmed what I thought of both grips, and although comfort is probably No 1 in importance for me, the price difference is near double in Australia (with shipping), so I gotta go with S&C, which still looks like it would be real comfy. Thanks again. I hope lots of people check this out as no one has done a comparison yet, and yours is all quality!
@@DripMediaGaming My Skull&Co grip finally showed up in the mail and it sure does not disappoint! Everything about it is awesome. I can't decide which of the two bigger grips I like most yet. I got the grips for the thumbsticks too and they're also nice. Thanks again for the videos!
With the way the Skull & Co grips detach, it would make sense to make asymmetrical grips to increase its competitiveness. Unless I'm missing the problem...

This is probably the most important comparison video for Switch Lite grips on RUclips. I have both but nobody really talks about how the Satisfye doesn’t offer any protection. The Satisfye slim case is also pretty big compared to the Skull & Co.
Melissa Kay the Satisfye stands on its own which is a huge plus and the case feels more premium but I prefer the Skull & Co. I have the Pokémon edition Switch so it shows the design and it’s more protective, plus being able to take off the grips is a huge plus so it’ll fit in a super slim case.
The skull and Co biggest issue is it doesn't improve the ergonomics much if at all. Due to the odd sizing of the switch and offset joysticks the satisfye literally makes it feel like a normal controller. The skull and co ... While excellent built just doesn't feel even slightly more comfortable at all.
Great comparison vid. Went with the skull & co. I liked that it was a protective case as well as an interchangeable grip system. I also liked the slimmer profile of the carry case. I have 1 physical game (botw) so 1 flap is more than enough for me. You definitely hit all the points on these products. Subscribed. Hope you make it to 600! *edit* one point you missed was that the carry case for the skull & co can be used as a kick stand for table top.
+Kyle Lemieux thank you!!! I really appreciate the sub and you watching. I think I did mention it in this video but I probably should have covered it a little more. Again THANK YOU so much. I definitely appreciate you watching!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I just ordered the satisfye grip. My "deal breaker" is that most grips don't work well with skins. I had a Mumba case/grip for a few months and it horribly destroyed my dbrand skin. I hope the satisfye lives up to the hype.
Max Isenberg See I think I’m actually the opposite. I like the skull&Co for the switch lite just because once it’s on there you don’t have to worry about taking it back off. Thank you so much for watching! I really do appreciate it. I’ve got an in-depth look at the satisfye grips coming out Wednesday so make sure you check the one out too!
@@MilkTea_BearI don’t use it too much anymore though I do still own it. It works pretty dang good and I would recommend it. It’s a little bit heavy but not too bad.
Nice comparison.. I have the skull & co grip After long time using it i will tell you my results.. -it's not very comfortable ( you will get crumps) -if you want to take it off the device it's not easy, maybe will Scratch your switch) -it's get very greasy after hard playing So I'm now ordering the satisfye grip
I have both and the satisfye does feel better...however they refused to sell my a standalone case because i bought the grip by itself first. So I ordered a skull and co. And i love this grip and the case. While not quite as comfortable its very close and it looks better.
I ordered the black skull and co grip and it will be here soon the reason I went with this one is because every clear case I've ever owned has always turned a nasty yellow colour after a few months
I have both. In short, Satisfye is the one if you lie down on your back or side to play games or its finger cramps (at least for me) however the rubber grips will wear out the back of your console leaving track marks if you take it in and out often. Get Skull&Co if you sit to play mostly plus the interchangeable grips. Personally i'd love a combination of both. I love the Skull&Co jelly case cos of the protection, Skull&Co interchangeable removable grips, love the Satisfye grip, Satisfye protection case on that lush velvet feel an lastly Satisfye thumb grips are the best. If Skull&Co came up with grip #4 much like how Satisfye feels to caterfor play while lying down, it would be the ultimate.
I have both too. I haven't noticed any scuffs, but then again I don't remove it from the Satisfye too often. I like the aesthetic of the Skull n Co. I don't always like that it covers up my console. I miss the clickiness of the ZR and ZL buttons since they are covered up. But, those are minor. Both are excellent. I just happen to reach for the Satisfye more often.
Just came across your channel & you deserve hella subs for not only great editing but being super informational. I was gonna go with the Skull & Co but after deciding with longevity in mind, I went with the satisfye. Hopefully they’ll decide to sell the cases separately 😒
Just got a switch lite since I couldn’t find an OG due to the whole pandemic and I’ve grown to love it. I was looking for a case and this helped out a lot. Plan to do a shell swap too. Do you know if the skull & co case yellows over time? I know sometimes it won’t happen instantly and that’s what I’m looking for. Something that will hold up being nice and clear for a good chunk of time. Just subbed, love the content. You definitely deserve more subs.
I went with the skull and co grip. I really do enjoy it and like how it protects from scratches. I will say tho, I am very interested in the satisfy grip and will be buying that soon. My gaming sessions are pretty long and I want the most comfort I can get. I figured I’d use the satisfy grip at home and the skull and co grip when traveling (to protect from scratches etc.). This was a very helpful review, thank you.
After a long, long thinking process and watching all your videos talking about the skull & co and the satisfye grip I decided on the skull & co one. Because of the three different grips and the whole protection for the switch. I have the yellow switch but I'm not going for the yellow grips. I'm going to order the coral ones because I think ( I really really hope it does) that looks kinda cool and like the OG switch 😋😋 Thanks so much for the information about these!
Haha not a problem! I’ve only been on RUclips 4 months so my stuff doesn’t get pushed very hard haha hopefully that changes soon. Thank you for watching!!!!
The skull and co looks cool and all but I went with satisfye. I'm 31 now and starting to get carpal tunnel. I hope the grip eases it somewhat. When I play without a grip, I can't play for more than 10 minutes without going numb.
@@DripMediaGaming Well, I ordered the elite bundle and am excited to finally use the switch I bought months ago. I subscribed as well, great quality content.

I actually bought my Satisfye grip before I ever heard of Skull & Co. I absolutely love it. But I am curious how the Skull & Co grip compares, so I'm watching this video.
Thank you! I just took that wrap off though actually. Working on a new video so I can’t give the details but it’s going to be way better after it’s newest upgrade
Thank you for wonderful information!! I was thinking to buy which grip I should buy and while hearing it, made me want to buy both to test it out all of them hahahaha well i better think longer. Once again thank you so much!!
I have the Satisfye grip but will be buying the Skull & Co grip shortly. The Satisfye one was ok, but I don’t know if my hands are just a bit small or what but the right grip’s edge actually hurts the palm section of my thumb after a certain amount of time playing.
@@GabrielBillett-ej5en It was better than the Satisfye Grip plus you have different sizes for the handles. Felt comfortable for long periods of gaming.
Great video man! I play strictly in tabletop mode with the charge stand and a pro controller. I’m really afraid of encountering stick drift with my luck. That being said, the satisfye bundle is tempting me.
G C it’s nice for sure. Super high quality. Probably won’t need to ever get another one. Make sure if you get it you use the link in the description 😉👌🏻
@@DripMediaGaming decided to do the blue for my gray switch lite and il combo that with the lite gray skull and co thumb grips when i manage to buy them
Does the skull and co prevent you from using a Bluetooth adapter on the bottom ,because of the added thickness ? I’m wanting to use wireless headphones
Wow thank you so much on the information thank you so much next video can you make a video on what console u like more the switch or the switch lite that would be great
I have the Satisfye Zen Grip for my Switch Lite but don't really like it. So ordered a Skull & Co Grip bundle to try out their product. I have pretty large hands and want grips that can be changed out.
With the transparent Skull & Co, have you noticed any yellowing of the plastic? Leaning towards that one because of the look and less bulk, but I've had enough transparent phone cases to know yellowing is a concern with some plastic types.
Do you get a cramp from using the Skull and Co for a long period of time? And how does the grip feel like? Is it slippy? Is it rubber-like like the satisfye? Or is it something entirely different? (One suggestion: You could make a pro and con list at the end of the video but that's up to you.)
If I’m laying down I do cramp up a little bit after about an out with the skull and co. The grips are made of plastic but they aren’t really slippy or anything like that. Like I said though if comfort is the honest priority the satisfye is the way to go. I’ll see if I can get a pros and cons list together tonight and put it in a pinned comment. Thank you for watching the video! I really really appreciate it!
Thank you! I ordered the skull and co because I prefer a overall protection combined even if it has a slightly weaker grip. On the other hand, I think the satisfye is.. kinda heavy? and very very wide. My collegue have one and while it is comfy, it does feel very heavy compared to no grip. The plus button is also kinda hard to reach, so I had to reposition my right hand all the time.
I have the pokemon edition. The skull and Co looks too good to skip out on. I've also bought the analog stick covers, because I prefer thumb part to go inside like ps4 instead of going outside.
How has the satisfye grip been with the skin you have on your switch? Has there been any marking on the skin or the grip? I have the grip for my switch but im a bit hesitant to get a skin.
It’s kinda has been an issue actually. The skin is kinda bunching up where the red rubber pets of the grip are. Not terribly but it’s noticeable when you take it out. Luckily mine lives in there
You won't be disappointed whichever one you go with. I've had the satisfye since December. LOVE it. I haven't played my lite without it. A few weeks ago I picked up the Skull n Co to see if I was missing out. I love that it matches my yellow lite perfectly. It feels lighter. However, I did notice some cramping after a longer play session. It also seemed like the grips on the Skull n Co dug into my palms if I held it too long (those 4 to 5 hour animal crossing sessions). I also missed the clickiness of the ZR and ZL buttons which the Skull n co covers up. That could just be me though. Overall though, as I said, you'll be happy with either. They are both good quality grips.
Great video but I'm still undecided. Can you comment on whether or not the S&C grip with the Trigger on the left and the Plus on the right would feel as ergonomic as the Satisfye? I have a cheaper ergonomic grip with the "tilted\wider" right grip and I really love the feel, its a game changer for me. I'd like the same experience with a grip/case bundle for travel. The S&C would be great on my Pokemon edition Switch Lite, but I'd hate to sacrifice the ergo experience. Thoughts?
Ok so i did a little test. in my opinion I don’t think it’s as good as the satisfye for that. But I can say they are both VERY comfortable grips. I don’t think you can go wrong with either but if you need that one grip angled I would just go for the satisfye
beetle beetle they don’t rattle at all. Definitely fit tight. I honestly don’t even think about the case when I use the triggers. Only thing that feels a little weird is the power button
The Skull n Co is a good grip, but I do miss the clickiness of the ZR and ZL buttons. You can tell there is a barrier between my finger and the buttons. I think it is a subjective thing, since not everyone cares about this. I find myself reaching for my Satisfye more than the Skull n Co.
hey bud i just bought a lite after your recommendation on your other video comment. with that said i need to choose from the satisye and skull and co for the lite. for the og swith, satisy all day, but for the lite it seems closer. are the skull grips close to the sae shape and size and angle of the satisfye? im hoping the skull and co is right between the angle of the left side an right side of the satisfye and that it is similar sized. can you confirm? ergonimics is huge to me as i have nerve damage to my right hand. but the skull and co looks nice all around for the lite, but i need to make sure the grip size and angle is enough for me compared to the satisfye. love your vids man! thank you
@@DripMediaGaming what do you use on the switch lite? ideally for me a grip on the right side (due to my injury) would be either like the satisfye or in between the satisfye right grip and left grip, if that makes sense. im going to place an order soon. i really want the skull and co but im worried the angle and size will be too little. would you say it is in between the left and right size of the satisfye or much closer to just the left side of the satisfye? thanks again for your replies and videos man! im in bit more of a unique situation with my injury so i apologize for all the Q's
@@DripMediaGaming I ended up going with the Satisfye grip for the Lite as well (already have it for my OG Switch. While I did want to try the Skull and I do like the looks of it better. I didn't want to risk the ergonimics being off (due to my nerve damage in my right hand from my motocross crash) I know the Satisfye works so figured I'd play it safe. Plus shipping time is much quicker from Satisfye. I may try the Skull option later, hopefully they come out with an assymetrical right grip then I'd absolutely get it. Anyways just wanted to say thanks for your vids and comments. looking forward to future vids.
@@saira17 I ended up also getting the Skull to test against the Satisfye for the Lite and I agree the Skull is nice overall and I prefer it for travel. It's definitely not near the same ergonomically though. But I'm going to keep testing it and see which one I stick with as the Skull n Co is nice and convenient. If not I'll give teh Skull to my girlfriend and keep the Satisfye.
How does it compare to weight. How much does the switch lite weigh with those grips? And what grip is the best for Dpad play sessions? (Because I mostly play 2D games with the Dpad)
Hi, I haven't weighed these but the console feels lighter with the Skull n Co on than when the Satisfye is on it. At least in my hands. However, the Satisfye feels more comfortable over longer periods than the Skull n Co.
Yep I use it like that all the time lol. Only thing is it sits in there slightly crooked on one side because the case is molded to fit their grip. Hasn’t been an issue though
Anyone know if the switch lite with the skull and co case (all grips removed) would still fit in a slim zip case? Or would the grip and co rubber case need to be removed?
Ok, just got one single question. Hope anyone can give me an answer Skull & Co. Grip Case in the Satisfye carrying case, is that possible? Does it fit?
The clear TPU on the Skull & Co worries me. If it's anything like the clear TPU phone cases I've had, it'll discolor over time and look awful. Looks like it'll be the Satisfye grip for me.
Damn now I'm kinda wishing I spent the extra 10 bucks and bought the bigger satisfye case lol oh well not like I'ma need that much space yet 🤣 I only have 6 games

Thank you for wonderful information!! I was thinking to buy which grip I should buy and while hearing it, made me want to buy both to test it out all of them hahahaha well i better think longer. Once again thank you so much!!
+Hyun Jin Kim you are very welcome!! Thank you for watching!
This is the exact video I've needed lol. Thank you
You are absolutely welcome!
I have the Satisfye grip but will be buying the Skull & Co grip shortly. The Satisfye one was ok, but I don’t know if my hands are just a bit small or what but the right grip’s edge actually hurts the palm section of my thumb after a certain amount of time playing.
Same here and I have large hands. I ordered the Skull & Co Grip and can't wait to try it out.
@@Psmgamerwhat was your experience with the skull and co ???
@@GabrielBillett-ej5en
It was better than the Satisfye Grip plus you have different sizes for the handles. Felt comfortable for long periods of gaming.
great review, man! I am subscribing, eager to see more)
Thank you! Make sure you check out the video from today and get in on the giveaway!
Hey cool review is subscribed hope to see more quality content!
Nix_RTV hey thank you!! I appreciate it a ton!
Make sure if you get it you use the link in the description 😉👌🏻
receiving my skull n co gripcase lite in a week yey now i can get into some serious gaming
Awesome!!! What color lite do you have?
@@DripMediaGaming decided to do the blue for my gray switch lite and il combo that with the lite gray skull and co thumb grips when i manage to buy them
Niiiiice. Thanks a million for watching the video. I appreciate it a ton 🙏🏻
Does the skull and co prevent you from using a Bluetooth adapter on the bottom ,because of the added thickness ? I’m wanting to use wireless headphones
Yes, it does. My Homespot adapter does not fit with the grip. No issues with the Satisfye.
Great video, thanks for the info!
Wow thank you so much on the information thank you so much next video can you make a video on what console u like more the switch or the switch lite that would be great
just wanted to let you know that video is going up tomorrow. little late but figured id let you know. thank you for watching :)
This is the EXACT video I needed
I have the Satisfye Zen Grip for my Switch Lite but don't really like it. So ordered a Skull & Co Grip bundle to try out their product. I have pretty large hands and want grips that can be changed out.
I've got the Pokemon edition so I'm going to buy the skull and co one.
100% looks so good. That’s my daily
Its hereeeee
Were did you get the skin? great video
this is gold thanks man
The thing stopping me from the skull and co is the covers on back buttons, and the satisfye having no changeable grips
I'm late but great video dawg thanks for this
+Trust The Process thank you very very much!

Drip Media Gaming Do you know if the 8bitdo lite controller fits in the Skull & Co grip case?
With the transparent Skull & Co, have you noticed any yellowing of the plastic? Leaning towards that one because of the look and less bulk, but I've had enough transparent phone cases to know yellowing is a concern with some plastic types.
Goddamn you are underrated
Great review
Kirnale sounds like you made a great choice then. What color switch lite do you have?
I have the pokemon edition. The skull and Co looks too good to skip out on. I've also bought the analog stick covers, because I prefer thumb part to go inside like ps4 instead of going outside.
Kirnale so how good is the skull and co compared to satisfye ?
How has the satisfye grip been with the skin you have on your switch? Has there been any marking on the skin or the grip? I have the grip for my switch but im a bit hesitant to get a skin.
It’s kinda has been an issue actually. The skin is kinda bunching up where the red rubber pets of the grip are. Not terribly but it’s noticeable when you take it out. Luckily mine lives in there
Im not sure what to pick! My lite will be coming soon and I want to order asap but im really lost.
They are both good quality grips.
tysm, ur very underrated
Great video but I'm still undecided. Can you comment on whether or not the S&C grip with the Trigger on the left and the Plus on the right would feel as ergonomic as the Satisfye? I have a cheaper ergonomic grip with the "tilted\wider" right grip and I really love the feel, its a game changer for me. I'd like the same experience with a grip/case bundle for travel. The S&C would be great on my Pokemon edition Switch Lite, but I'd hate to sacrifice the ergo experience. Thoughts?
I love this comment!! Haha ok I’m gonna. Look into this for you. Give me just a minute
Ok so i did a little test. in my opinion I don’t think it’s as good as the satisfye for that. But I can say they are both VERY comfortable grips. I don’t think you can go wrong with either but if you need that one grip angled I would just go for the satisfye
@@DripMediaGaming ok thanks mate!
Skull and co is my favorite I owned both and satisfye scratched my switch and left marks. But the skull and co works great.
Awesome video! I have a question, will the skull and co grip case fit in the satisfye carrying case?
Hahaha it will! I’ve been using it like that since I filmed this video actually 😂👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Drip Media Gaming thx
Does the grip attachments on the skull n co case rattle? How tight do they fit? And does the trigger cover makes the button press feel less solid?
beetle beetle they don’t rattle at all. Definitely fit tight. I honestly don’t even think about the case when I use the triggers. Only thing that feels a little weird is the power button
Drip Media Gaming thanks a lot for your fast response! Please keep up with the good videos!!
Absolutely! Thank you for watching.
The Skull n Co is a good grip, but I do miss the clickiness of the ZR and ZL buttons. You can tell there is a barrier between my finger and the buttons. I think it is a subjective thing, since not everyone cares about this. I find myself reaching for my Satisfye more than the Skull n Co.
hey bud i just bought a lite after your recommendation on your other video comment. with that said i need to choose from the satisye and skull and co for the lite. for the og swith, satisy all day, but for the lite it seems closer. are the skull grips close to the sae shape and size and angle of the satisfye? im hoping the skull and co is right between the angle of the left side an right side of the satisfye and that it is similar sized. can you confirm? ergonimics is huge to me as i have nerve damage to my right hand. but the skull and co looks nice all around for the lite, but i need to make sure the grip size and angle is enough for me compared to the satisfye. love your vids man! thank you
Steez I would say the skull & co. Is very close to the left side of the satisfye. And thank you!
Hi, with your situation, I would stick with the Satisfye. I have both and the Skull n Co hurts after long play sessions. Still a good grip though!
If not I'll give teh Skull to my girlfriend and keep the Satisfye.
i got a skull co lite grip, iv had it about a month now and i LOVE it, first person shooters are easy
For sure. I love mine too!
Thanks bro !!

Cual es la sensacion de los botones L R ZL ZR con Skull & co??
Hi...
I already bought the Skull & Co grip for my Switch Lite...
Will the Satisfye grip fit in the Skull & Co case?
I just ordered the skull & co but can you confirm you can also fit a powerbank inside the case?
Yes it will fit a small power bank.
wow your video help me so much and you got all the point that i need. but why you still 4k? sub!!!!!!
Any opinions on which thumb grips are better? S&C or Satisfye?
You play smash on the lite ?(with grips) if so do you play for a long time?
Great video, really helped!!! I think the Orzly switch light bundle is a good contestar. If u check it out, please make a video
Drop me a link I’ll take a look
How does it compare to weight. How much does the switch lite weigh with those grips? And what grip is the best for Dpad play sessions? (Because I mostly play 2D games with the Dpad)
I don't know what the weight is, but in hand the console feels lighter with the Skull n Co on. However, it feels more comfortable with the Satisfye.
Where did you buy the skin from ?
Hmm I think the matching color is a big selling point for me lol
+Corvidus Yeah 100% agree with you on that. The satisfye is amazing but I wish it was available in more colors
I have the yellow switch but going to order the coral grips because I think it would look kinda cool with some matching thumbstick covers 🙈😋
Can you weigh the Satisfye Grip? Skull Co says their SnapGrip is 70g and Triggergrip is 85g.
Hi, I haven't weighed these but the console feels lighter with the Skull n Co on than when the Satisfye is on it. At least in my hands. However, the Satisfye feels more comfortable over longer periods than the Skull n Co.
can i fit the skull and co grip case in the satisfye case??👀
Yep I use it like that all the time lol. Only thing is it sits in there slightly crooked on one side because the case is molded to fit their grip. Hasn’t been an issue though
Anyone know if the switch lite with the skull and co case (all grips removed) would still fit in a slim zip case? Or would the grip and co rubber case need to be removed?
It should fit just fine 👍🏻
Are there any switch grips that can fit with a Nintendo switch case?
The skull&Co with the smallest grips on will fit in some cases
Drip Media Gaming thx for the quick reply! Glad to see your sub count is through the roof in such a short time. Again thx for the quick reply
Absolutely! Thank you for watching. I truly appreciate it!
Where can i get the lv wrap?
Which one should i get?
I mean it’s hard for me to just tell you what to get. They are both very very good. It’s really all about what you need out of a grip
@@DripMediaGaming thx for the advice
Ok, just got one single question. Hope anyone can give me an answer
Skull & Co. Grip Case in the Satisfye carrying case, is that possible? Does it fit?
I’m almost certain it would with the thin grips on. It fits into a lot of different cases with those thin grips from experience.
The clear TPU on the Skull & Co worries me. If it's anything like the clear TPU phone cases I've had, it'll discolor over time and look awful. Looks like it'll be the Satisfye grip for me.
Yeah I know what you mean. It’s definitely possible. So far mine is good but that was one of my concerns as well. Thank you for watching!!!
Damn now I'm kinda wishing I spent the extra 10 bucks and bought the bigger satisfye case lol oh well not like I'ma need that much space yet 🤣 I only have 6 games
wowowowow
Not going to lie. I INSTANTLY fell in love with the pokemon switch lite and the red and blue grip. Epic comparison 👍
Also the new youtube pokemon anime came out. I think its called pokemon twilight wings. You should check it out. 😀
Yeah I don’t think there is a better grip out there for the Pokémon version. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@DripMediaGaming Drip Media Gaming haha yeah. I just finshed watching the video then you replied 😂. You should be proud because you have the least toxic comment section in all of youtube 👍.
Hahahahahahaha for now anyway. 😂😂 coming up on 4 months on RUclips so we will see.
