The film "Rise" tells the true story of Alex Carter, a young man falsely accused of rape. He is sentenced to six years in maximum security. In his first days in prison, Alex feels helpless and scared. Life behind bars is harsh and unjust, and he quickly loses hope.
Eventually, Alex meets Jack "Tiger" Thompson, an influential inmate known for his tough demeanor. Initially, their relationship is tense, but over time, Jack takes Alex under his wing. He teaches him survival skills and helps him maintain faith in his innocence.
Together, they begin to gather evidence that could prove Alex's innocence. Facing numerous dangers and obstacles, Alex and Jack fight against a corrupt system. Finally, through unwavering determination and newfound friendship, Alex manages to prove his innocence and regain his freedom, overcoming injustice and discovering true inner trinianpal464 strength.

I love these kinds of movies. I am out of prison now for the last two years. I served a life term for taking another man's life. It was while I was inside that Jesus called me unto Himself and I got set free inside. Now after He changed my heart, I can look back at the way He wooed me to Himself and when He led me into His Holy grace and love. When I was going before the parole board for the fourth time, God spoke into my heart ❤️ just tell the truth about what you did! I wanted to please God so I told the ugly truth of the cowardly selfish things I had done, the ultimate sin of murdering another human being out of pride and lost in my addictions. The commissioners saw that God really had changed my heart and life and that I had truly repented of my sin and crime. They found me suitable for parole and no longer a threat to society. I served almost 26 years for what I did. Now I am a living amends for my victim and a testimony of what Jesus Christ can do in a person's life and heart ❤️❤️ thank you Lord Jesus 😢 I love you! Anyone falsely accusing someone of assault should be charged with the same charges as the accused is facing.
And there is the problem that because of false accuses many true accuses aren't belived: duble damage.

Based on a true story mate there's hundreds of guys that shouldn't be in jail.... because she didn't like the way he looks or the way he looked at her or the BIGGEST killer jealousy..
This is one of the best films I've seen in a long time. This film shows what I've always believed, and that is 'people CAN change, just as Jack did. Unfortunately we live in very trying times, and it's hard to trust.

One positive thing about prison is that it will awaken you to the real life. The dude got in a boy and came out a man. I have a similar story, and now I thank God, i had experienced prison.

I just watched the movie it was well put together.i also just got of prison 7 months ago so I know how it feels to be judged the way he did.because I myself am being judged for my past more then ever only GOD knows how much I regret my past.but to keep getting judged for my past even as I speak it's unjust.i did my time and asked the mighty GOD for forgiveness then and now.today I'm doing the right thing and I can't move on because like I said I'm still being judged for my ugly past.and I hate it .I wish I can get my life back so that I can be some what happy and keep pushing forward.I ask my Mighty GOD everyday for my forgiveness and my life back please.Lord Jesus Christ I come to you humbly and ask you once again for forgiveness and my life back please.thank you Almighty Jesus Christ!!!

what a beautiful story, a real must see movie....these kind of cases happen to much, falsly convicted also here in the Netherlands! till a few years ago it was a hype because the girls get a lot of money from court if the trial could prove that the man was guilty....now the system for these kind of cases are changed for the better ❤❤❤❤
He grew up a lot in that place, but getting out he seemed to feel lost. Connecting with his mate gave him someone who knew what it was all about in that place. He was a different person and needed someone who knew who he had become.
