1:11 Thanks! I didn't realise different smiths upgrades did different things. I wondered why I could suddenly upgrade my daggers when other smiths needed more materials, my daggers will not have increased by as much as they would have from those other smiths. It's cool they included details like this, but can catch the new player out a little.

In my playthrough the elf in gift of the bow quest got killed by a random enemy when he was waiting for me to meet him, and now he is not respawning in the quest location even after resting for quite some time. The quest marker still says to meet him there but i see him wandering around and he wont engage in the quest dialogue. Any have the same issue and or knows how to go about this?
Use the cemetery in Vernworth to look for his body in the catacombs underneath and then revive him in the world with a Wakestone and he will come back alive for you. This happened to me with another lady that I killed to see if she would drop the loot she had for completing her quest but that didnt work and so had to revive her and now I can complete her quest😅

Go to Vernworth morgue and use a wakestone on him. Silly bastard got killed when taking me to the village but I didn’t notice. You can definitley find it yourself if you follow the glowing/lit fire lamps…easier to spot at night.
You don’t need to buy a bow you can just go become an archer so that’s how you give him one but you’ll need to be an archer so you’ll need to buy a bow” JUST BUY HIM THE CHEAPEST BOW lol

The quest? Probably not. The village isn't missable either, I got there by accident before ever meeting the quest elf.
You can do it it at any point, but easy to miss due to you having to talk to the npc

@@BazookaJ0Eyou Gotta find em. Few videos on the locations of early game ones. One is in the misty marshes right next to a Griffin, gotta climb up the left side rock wall if your coming from vernworth just a few steps into the fog and just keep heading south-south east. You'll know your heading the right way if you start too see the fog lift just before you see a great nest.... There's also a port crystal on the dd2 online store but we don't talk about that

When you talk to her, before seing any options, you can press Y, on pc, or X on xbox to gift her something. I had the achievement to fully maxing out the relationship but she didn't gave me any tome...
