This is absolutely gorgeous. Your family is beautiful and you've captured that in a way I haven't seen yet with the Blazars. Maybe it's your coloring skills, maybe it's the Burano, probably both. The image is so appealing and inviting it feels like you are there. A lovely combo of anamorphic style and high level image capture. Blown away. I can't wait until mine arrive.
Amazing shots, Burano and Remus are delivering gorgeous pictures, and the way you filmed and edited make it feel even more amazing. Congrats, I guess this combination would be amazing for docs as well since you killed it with the focus pulling all by your own ! Well done mate !
The detail is amazing! Beautiful location, innovative scripting, hiring all these actors, just for a lens test. The detail you put into everything is inspiring. Bravo
Your videos make me emotional. Every time. Also…I’m really enjoying the Burano. Every time you’ve brought it on a project, the image looks unbelievable. The Blazars on this really surprised me in a good way. I love the way they retain detail but aesthetically smear some of the image.
Look amazing on my Red Gemini ... seriously these shine in S35 and Gemini is 18mm (4perf height) get that bonus 300 pixels at 5120 x 3000 OG no regrets on these lenses.
Loved this! Would the 45 and 100mm be a good combo for amateur projects? Noob here looking to dabble in the cine lens world and can't afford the whole set.
The most amazing "home" videos I've seen! In addition to the Nucleus-M, how the heck are you getting such good focus and stable shots on such fast-moving subjects? Shoulder rig? Top handle? Well done.
@@lukefletcherfilms Well done! I guess the weight of the Burano helps keep it stable, too. I just remembered I have a nucleus side handle somewhere! Gotta give this a try.
If you pay attention, he actually doesn’t pan a whole lot. I have the Blazar Nero adapter and similar to the Remus, if you center your subject and mainly do push ins and tracking shots as well as locked off, it excels in those scenarios. I do agree that he really makes the lenses look their best. If I were to shoot a project with lots of panning and handheld, I would probably avoid the Remus lenses. But for other projects and if you can shoot around their limitations, they’re lovely lenses!

finally a Blazar video that has a "normal" look instead if the extreme heavy vintage luts!!
Seriously!
ON THE POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
right. amazing capture.
to you, it's a camera test, to them they're core memories.

If I need to convince my wife to let me buy these lenses, I'm 100% sending her this video. 😂👏Great footage man!

Really lovely shots, and so natural. Love it
Now this look like cinema!!!! Your kids are so lucky to have such beautiful images of them at this cutest stage of their lives.👏🏻
The fact she understood to switch to saying film... she knows her stuff and I and melted all over the freakin floor 😓🥹
As a girl dad and as a filmmaker/photographer for a university, this is the next-level stuff that I've seen from a Blazar lens and a Sony camera.
Thanks man!
This is better than most movies that have been released in recent years🙌

Excellent man. Lovely. Always walking away from these tests with appreciation for goof time 😄
im getting this cam and this was beautiful
the flares on the stairs wow
Thanks!
Climbing the stairs was the epitome of how to unpretentious insert a flare into a shot. Well done!
had to get at least one in the video haha
Great piece. I bought the A set and took them to Asia for three weeks to shoot a doc and was about 80% on the 45mm as well. Very nice.

These are great! Have you noticed the rolling shutter with 1.5X desqueeze? I hope Sony updates the Burano with a 4:3 mode.

It's a good look, but even on RUclips you can see they are soft lenses. You can always soften (in cam or in post) but not the other way around.
Very true. This is all at t2 though. They’re better around t4
The fart sold me lol. and Wow this is making want to by the Burano now and the blazar's set

how do you like the distortion on the 45mm? I am thinking of getting the 45mm but I've heard a lot of negative comments about it.

whats the adapter you use for PL mount?
